 FOR THE SPECIFIC COMMENTS. ZONING WILL NOT APPROVE THIS
 PERMIT UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE CANOPY PERMIT IS
 APPROVED.
  
 2) THE RESUBMITTED DRAWINGS INCLUDE TWO DIFFERENT SIGN
 CONFIGURATIONS.
  
 A. ONE IS THE SAME AS THE SAME AS THE ONE THAT STAFF
 PREVIOUSLY ISSUED THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 THE SIGN INCLUDES REVERSE CHANNEL LETTERS ABOVE THE
 CANOPY WITH THE POWER SUPPLY BOX (RACEWAY) ON TOP OF
 THE CANOPY BEHIND THE LETTERS. THIS IS NOT A PERMITTED
 OPTION FOR A CANOPY SIGN. THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT
 SIGN CRITERIA SPECIFIES LETTERS MAY BE MOUNTED WITHIN
 THE VERTICAL FACE OF THE CANOPY, INDIVIDUAL METAL
 LETTERS MAY BE PIN MOUNTED ABOVE OR BELOW THE CANOPY
 (WITH AMBIENT ILLUMINATION PERMITTED), OR INTEGRATED
 INTO THE HORIZONTAL PLANE OF THE CANOPY AS PART OF THE
 CANOPY. ADDITIONALLY, THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN
 CRITERIA PROHIBIT EXPOSED RACEWAYS. NOTE: REGARDLESS OF
 THE FINAL SIGN DESIGN, THE CANOPY NEEDS TO BE DESIGNED
 TO INCORPORATE THE POWER SUPPLY, CONDUIT, ETC. WITHIN
 IT FOR ANY SIGNAGE THAT WILL BE MOUNTED ON THE CANOPY.
  
 THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA PERMIT A
 MAXIMUM LETTER HEIGHT OF 18 INCHES FOR A CANOPY SIGN
 UNLESS CITYPLACE RETAIL IS GRANTED A WAIVER II (MINOR
 PLANNED DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT). THE WAIVER II MAY
 INCREASE THE SIGNS DIMENSION BY UP TO 25 PERCENT, SO
 THE LETTER HEIGHT COULD THEN BE 19 INCHES TALL AS
 SHOWN.
  
 B. THE NEW SIGN CONFIGURATION DOES NOT PROVIDE ALL THE
 INFORMATION REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A FULL REVIEW; HOWEVER,
 IT STILL DOES NOT COMPLY WITH ANY OF THE THREE OPTIONS
 PROVIDED IN THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA
 (LISTED IN COMMENT 2A ABOVE).
  
 3) THE NEW SIGN DRAWING SHOWING THE SERVICE TRAPS AND
 THE POWER SUPPLY SHOWN IN THE CANOPY (TRELLIS) DO NOT
 EXIST ON THE CANOPY PERMIT. THESE CANNOT JUST BE CUT IN
 AFTER THE FACT AS THEY MAY AFFECT THE STRUCTURAL
 INTEGRITY OF THE CANOPY AND NEGATE THE ENGINEERING
 APPROVAL OF THE CANOPY. ADDITIONALLY, THE PLANS STATE
 THAT THE ELECTRICAL PRIMARY TO THE SIGN IS BY OTHERS.
 NO PERMIT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED FOR THIS ELECTRICAL WORK.

 RACEWAY BEHIND THE LETTERS. THE CANOPY SHOULD BE
 DESIGNED TO INCORPORATE THE POWER SUPPLY, CONDUIT, ETC.
 FOR THE SIGNAGE MOUNTED ON IT.
  
 4) THE ROSEMARY SQUARE TENANT SIGN CRITERIA REQUIRE
 THAT THE LOCATION OF ALL OPENINGS FOR CONDUIT SLEEVES
 AND SUPPORT IN SIGN PANELS AND BUILDING WALLS BE
 INDICATED BY THE SIGN CONTRACTOR IN THE SHOP DRAWINGS.
 STAFF NEEDS TO SEE THESE AS PART OF THE PERMIT TO
 VERIFY THAT THE SIGN'S ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS, CONDUIT,
 ETC. ARE NOT VISIBLE TO THE PUBLIC. NOTE: IT APPEARS
 THAT THERE IS EXPOSED WIRING EXITING THE BACK OF THE
