 ANALYSIS FROM AN ENGINEER FOR THE SAME ROOF TILE THAT
 WAS USED ON THE EXISTING PORTION OF THE HOUSE AND WILL
 BE USED ON THE ADDITION. THE TILE NO LONGER HAS A
 CURRENT PRODUCT APPROVAL. THAT IS THE REASON THE
 RATIONAL ANALYSIS WAS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED AND
 APPROVED BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.

 PER THE SIGNED AND SEALED LETTER FROM THE ENGINEER, THE
 ROOF TILE THAT THEY WISH TO USE DOES NOT HAVE A PRODUCT
 APPROVAL. IN ORDER TO USE THAT ROOF TILE, THE ENGINEER
 WILL HAVE TO SUBMIT A SIGNED AND SEALED RATIONAL
 ANALYSIS COMPARING THE PROPOSED ROOF TILE WITH A
 SIMILAR TILE THAT HAS A CURRENT PRODUCT APPROVAL. TWO
 SETS OF THE ENGINEERED DOCUMENTS ARE REQUIRED. THE
 PROPOSED TILE WILL NEED TO HAVE SIMILAR DIMENSIONS AND
 SHAPE. THE WEIGHT OF THE PROPOSED TILE WILL HAVE TO BE
 EQUAL OR GREATER THAN THE TILE WITH THE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL. WHEN THE ENGINEERING IS REVIEWED AND APPROVED
 YOU WILL BE GIVEN ONE SET OF THE DOCUMENTS THAT WILL BE
 STAMPED AS APPROVED TO HAVE IN THE FIELD FOR THE
 BUILDING INSPECTOR. FBC 107.2.1.2

 FOR REPLACEMENT OF 5 SQUARES OF ROOF TILE. NOW,
 CONTRACTOR SUBMITTED PLANS FOR AN ADDITION TO THE
 HOUSE. THE ADDITION IS ALREADY APPROVED. CLARIFY IF THE
 ROOFING WORK IS FOR THE ADDITION AS SHOWN ON PLANS. IF
 THIS IS FOR THE ADDITION, THEN THIS IS A ROOFING
 SUB-PERMIT FOR THE ADDITION MASTER #19021315 NOT A
 RE-ROOF PERMIT. CLARIFY AND REVISE SCOPE OF WORK AS
