 ALTHOUGH A DIFFERENT ENGINEER HAS SEALED THE PLAN, AND
 PROVIDED CALCULATIONS, THE SAME PLAN WAS SUBMITTED. THE
 FOLLOWING ISSUES WERE NOT ADDRESSED:
  
 2. THE STRUCTURAL SPECIFICATION FOR SIGN FASTENING IS
 NOT CLEAR. THE TALLEST LETTER IS OVER 2'. THE
 STRUCTURAL SPECIFICATION STATES "AVG (3) PER LETTER"
 (REFERRING TO TAP CONS). THE LETTER "H" IS OVER 2'
 TALL, HAS TWO SECTIONS. IT IS NOT CLEAR HOW THREE
 FASTENERS WILL BE ADEQUATE. PROVIDE CALCULATIONS.
  
 2ND REVIEW, IT IS STILL NOT CLEAR HOW THREE ANCHORS
 WILL SECURE THIS SIGN. PROVIDE A FASTENING PATTERN FOR
 THE THREE TAPCONS FOR THE SCRIPT LETTER "H".
  
 IT APPEARS THAT THE ENGINEER HAS USED DESIGN PRESSURES
 FOR A SOLID SIGN. THIS UTILIZES A FACTOR FOR A RIGID
 STRUCTURE. IF ONLY THREE TAP CONS ARE USED TO SECURE
 THE LETTERS, DOESN'T IT THEN BECOME FLEXIBLE AS THE
 MAJORITY OF THE SIGN IS NOT ANCHORED?
  
 CLARIFY BUILDING HEIGHT. THE SIGN IS SHOWN GRAPHICALLY
 AS HIGHER THAN 30'. IT IS NOT CLEAR WHETHER THE 30'
 DIMENSION IS TO THE TOP OF THE ARCH WHERE THE SIGN IS
 LOCATED OR TO THE TOP OF THE FLAT PORTION OF THE WALL.
  
 3. TAP CON, 3/16" X 1 3/4" WAS SPECIFIED AS THE
 FASTENER TO BE USED. ISN'T THAT A BRAND? DOESN'T THAT
 COMPANY MAKE MANY DIFFERENT ANCHORS, ALL WITH DIFFERENT
 VALUES? THE SUBSTRATE WAS NOT SPECIFIED; REVISE PLAN SO
 TO INCLUDE THIS INFORMATION? REVISE PLAN TO MORE
 CLEARLY SPECIFY THE ANCHOR WHICH THE ENGINEER INTENDS
 TO BE USED.
  
 2ND REVIEW, CALCULATIONS REFER TO "3/16" TAPCON" WITH A
 MIAMI-DADE NOA REFERENCE. THE NOA IS EXPIRED. THE NOA
 INCLUDES SEVERAL DIFFERENT FASTENERS. REVISE PLAN TO
 CLEARLY SPECIFY ANCHOR, CHANGE REFERENCE TO A CURRENT
 PRODUCT APPROVAL.
  
 THE PERMIT APPLICATION REQUIRES THE OWNER'S SIGNATURE.
 CONTRACTOR MAY SIGN IF A SIGNED CONTRACT IS PROVIDED,
 OR IF CONTRACTOR HAS A POWER OF ATTORNEY SIGNED BY THE
 OWNER AUTHORIZING HIM TO SIGN ON THE OWNER'S BEHALF.
