 THE PRE-REMODEL ELEVATION CERTIFICATE THAT WAS
 SUBMITTED DATED 3/1/16 IS ON THE OLD FORM AND IS
 EXPIRED. THE NEW FORMS WHICH EXPIRE ON 11/30/2018
 BECAME EFFECTIVE ON 1/9/2016. SUBMIT ELEVATION
 CERTIFICATES USING THE NEW FORMS.

 1) THE STRUCTURE IS LOCATED IN A SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD
 AREA. THE PROPOSED WORK IS AN ADDITION AND SUBSTANTIAL
 IMPROVEMENT TO THE EXISTING STRUCTURE. THE CITY OF WEST
 PALM BEACH'S FLOOD ORDINANCE, FEMA AND THE 2014 FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE RESIDENTIAL REQUIRE THE STRUCTURE TO
 COMPLY WITH THE FLOOD ORDINANCE. THE MINIMUM FINISH
 FLOOR ELEVATION IS REQUIRED TO BE 7.5' NGVD 1929.
 SPECIFY THE FINISH FLOOR ELEVATIONS ON THE PLANS BASED
 ON NGVD 1929 AND SUBMIT A PRECONSTRUCTION ELEVATION
 CERTIFICATE.
  
 2) A SEPARATE PERMIT, APPLICATION AND PLANS ARE
 REQUIRED FOR THE ELECTRIC GENERATOR. FBC 105.1
  
 3) THE COMPONENT AND CLADDING PRESSURES ON SHEETS A-3
 ARE INCORRECT FOR THE SECTIONAL GARAGE DOOR AND FRENCH
 DOORS ON THE PROPOSED WEST ELEVATION. BASED ON FBCR
 TABLES R301.2(2), R301.2(3) AND R301.2(4) THE SPECIFIED
 PRESSURES ARE LOWER THAN REQUIRED.
  
 4) THE DOOR SCHEDULE ON A-7 SPECIFIES A GLASS PANEL ON
 TOP OF THE ENTRY DOOR, BUT NOT SIDELITES ON EACH SIDE
 AS SHOWN ON THE FLOOR PLAN AND ELEVATIONS ON SHEETS A-1
 AND A-3. PLEASE CLARIFY. SPECIFY THE SIZES OF THE
 SIDELITES AND THE TRANSOM ON THE PLANS. FBC 107.2.1
  
 5) ON SHEET S-2 ROOF FRAMING NOTE #6 REFERENCES THE
 2010 FBC AND THE 2014 FBC SHOULD BE REFERENCED.
  
 6) ON SHEET E-1 THE GENERAL ELECTRICAL NOTES REFERENCES
 THE 2008 NEC AND THE 2011 NEC SHOULD BE REFERENCED.
