 1) THE SINGLE TRUNK ALEXANDER PALM THAT IS SHOWN IN THE
 ISLAND WITH THE STREET TREES DOES NOT COUNT TOWARD
 MEETING THE MULTIFAMILY ADDITIONAL TREES AS IT IS NOT
 ADJACENT TO THE BUILDING. STAFF IS CONFUSED WHY A
 DOUBLE TRUNK ALEXANDER OR TWO SINGLE TRUNK ALEXANDER
 PALMS WERE NOT INSTALLED ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE
 BUILDING (A SINGLE TRUNK ALEXANDER WAS SHOWN IN THIS
 LOCATION ON PREVIOUS SET OF PLANS.
  
 2) WHILE THE STREET TREES ARE NOT DIRECTLY PART OF THIS
 PERMIT REVIEW, STAFF HAS NOTED THAT THE LIVE OAK TREE
 THAT IS REQUIRED TO TERMINATE THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE
 PARKING ROW IS NOW SHOWN IN THE NORTHERN ISLAND. THIS
 IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THAT ISLAND CANNOT SUPPORT TREE OAK
 TREES AND THE FPL TRANSFORMER AND PERMIT THEM ADEQUATE
 LONG TERM GROWTH. IF THE CONCERN IS THE PROXIMITY OF
 THE OAK TREE TO THE TREE PRESERVE, THEN STAFF IS OPEN
 TO AN ALTERNATIVE TREE SPECIES IN THAT LOCATION ONLY. A
 TREE IS REQUIRED AT THAT LOCATION PRIOR TO THE STAFF?S
 FINAL CLOSEOUT OF OAKTON COMMONS.

 AS A TREE AND MAY NOT BE USED TO SATISFY THE REQUIRED
 MULTIFAMILY TREE CALCULATION.
  
 2) THE MULTIFAMILY TREE CALCULATION SHALL BE DONE PER
 BUILDING, NOT FOR BOTH BUILDINGS COMBINED.
  
 3) THE APPROVED MASTER LANDSCAPE PLAN DID NOT ESTABLISH
 THAT FOXTAIL PALMS AND SILVER BUTTONWOOD TRESS COULD BE
 TRADED FOR ALEXANDER PALMS AS PROPOSED. STAFF WILL
 ACCEPT THE TRADE OUT ONLY IF ALL OF THE ALEXANDER PALM
 LOCATIONS SHOWN ON THE PLAN ARE INSTALLED WITH DOUBLE
 TRUNKS. NOTE: THIS WILL ALSO RESULT IN COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF MULTIFAMILY TREES.
