 1) PLEASE PROVIDE BETTER INFORMATION ON THE BACKER FOR
 THE SIGN. THE ENGINEER PLANS SHOW A CONCRETE WALL, YET
 THE PHOTO SHOWS CONSTRUCTION EXTENDING FROM THE FACE OF
 THE BUILDING. EXTENDING PAST THE PLAIN OF THE WALL
 RESULTS IN THE ENTIRE CONSTRUCTED AREA (PAINTED BLUE IN
 THE PHOTO) BEING CONSIDERED PART OF THE SIGN FOR THE
 SIGN AREA.
  
 2) THE CITYPLACE MASTER SIGN PLAN MEASURES SIGNAGE
 ALLOWANCE AS FOLLOWS - ONE SQUARE FOOT OF SIGNAGE FOR
 EACH ONE LINEAR FOOT OF STORE FRONTAGE. THE STOREFRONT
 IS 27 FEET WIDE, SO THE SIGN MAY BE 27 SQ. FT. WHILE
 THE SIGN PANEL MOUNTED TO THE WALL IS 18.4 SQ. FT.,
 STAFF NEEDS THE INFORMATION FROM COMMENT 1 TO VERIFY
 THAT THE SIGN DOES NOT EXCEED THE PERMITTED 27 SQ. FT.
