 COMPLIANCE. ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS,
 SYSTEMS, AND SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS
 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 1) SHEET A1 THE MERCANTILE/ BUSSINESS OCCUPANCY HAS A
 COMBINED OCCUPANT LOAD OF 66 OCCUPANTS, BUT ONLY ONE
 MEANS OF EGRESS, THE MAIN ENTRY. 2010 FBC-B 1015.1 &
 TABLE 1015.1. THE PLANS INDICATE A 2ND MEANS OF EGRESS
 THROUGH THE EXISTING WAREHOUSE. THE BUSINESS AND
 MERCANTILE OCCUPANTS CAN NOT USE THIS AS A EXIT SINCE
 IT IS A MORE HAZARDOUS OCCUPANCY UNLESS A EXIT
 PASSAGEWAY IS BUILT (2HR) SEPERATING THE WAREHOUSE FROM
 THE EXIT PASSAGEWAY.
  
 2010 FBC-B 1014.2 EGRESS THROUGH INTERVENING SPACES.
 EGRESS THROUGH INTERVENING SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH
 THIS SECTION.
 1. EGRESS FROM A ROOM OR SPACE SHALL NOT PASS THROUGH
 ADJOINING OR INTERVENING ROOMS OR AREAS, EXCEPT WHERE
 SUCH ADJOINING ROOMS OR AREAS AND THE AREA SERVED ARE
 ACCESSORY TO ONE OR THE OTHER, ARE NOT A GROUP H
 OCCUPANCY AND PROVIDE A DISCERNIBLE PATH OF EGRESS
 TRAVEL TO AN EXIT.
 EXCEPTION: MEANS OF EGRESS ARE NOT PROHIBITED THROUGH

 EXIT.

 EXHIBITION ROOM. THE PLANS INDICATE THE FINISH FLOOR TO
 BE RAISED UP 2 INCHES BUT NO DETAILS TO WHAT IS RAISING
 UP THE FLOOR. SHEET A-1 INDICATED THIS BUILDING IS A
 TYPE I-B STRUCTURE, PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS ON THE
 RAISED FLOOR, SEE 2010 FBC-B 603.1 WHERE FIRE RETARDANT
 TREATED MATERIALS MAY BE INSTALLED AS WELL AS 805 FOR
 WHERE COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS CAN BE USED IN TYPE I & II
 CONSTRUCTION FLOORING AND SUBFLOOR CONSTRUCTION.
  
 3C) IT WOULD ALSO APPEAR THE CLIENTS CAN ENTER THE
 EXHIBITION ROOM PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH VERTICAL
 ACCESSIBILITY. 2010 FBC- ACCESSIBILITY CODE 405.2 ALSO
 SEE TABLE 405.2 SLOPES FOR EXISTING SITES.
  
 3D) WALL LEGEND HAS HAND WRITTEN NOTES METAL STUDS, 603
 NO CONCEALED COMBUTIBLES AND PART FO THE STATEMENT
 STRUCK ABOUT THE USE OF WOOD STUDS. 603.1 ALLOWABLE
 MATERIALS.
 COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS SHALL BE PERMITTED IN BUILDINGS
 OF TYPE I OR II CONSTRUCTION IN THE FOLLOWING

 4) SHEET A-3 R-30 INSULATION IS LAYED DIRECTLY ON THE
 LAY-IN ACOUSTICAL CEILING. 2010 FBC- ENERGY 502.2.1.2
 CEILING INSULATION. INSULATION INSTALLED ON A SUSPENDED
 CEILING WITH REMOVABLE CEILING TILES SHALL NOT BE
 CONSIDERED PART OF THE MINIMUM THERMAL RESISTANCE OF
 THE ROOF INSULATION UNLESS THE ROOF/CEILING CAVITY IS
 SEALED FROM THE EXTERIOR ENVIRONMENT.
