 PLEASE RESPOND IN WRITING:
  
 1) THE CITYPLACE APPROVAL STAMP IS NOT INCLUDED ON THE
 PLANS.
  
 2) THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING THE COLOR BOARD FOR WHAT THE
 COLORS LOOK LIKE. STAFF HAS REVIEWED THE SAMPLES AND
 DETERMINED THAT THE COLORS DO NOT ADHERE TO THE
 MEDITERRANEAN COLOR PALETTE, WHICH INCLUDES A WARMTH TO
 ITS COLORS THAT ARE NOT EVIDENT IN THE PROPOSED
 CHANTILLY LACE/DENTELLE DELICATE WHITE AND COVENTRY
 GRAY. AFTER STUDYING THE COLOR BOARD, STAFF VISITED THE
 SITE AND DISCOVERED THAT THE BUILDING HAS ALREADY BEEN
 PAINTED. STAFF'S INITIAL REACTION TO THE COLORS AS
 PRESENTED ON THE COLOR BOARD WERE REINFORCED BY THE
 SITE VISIT. NEITHER THE GRAY NOR THE WHITE ARE
 COMPLEMENTARY TO THE MEDITERRANEAN STYLE OF
 ARCHITECTURE AND COLORS FOUND ON THE BUILDING.
 ADDITIONALLY, MORE OF THE BUILDING WAS PAINTED THAN THE
 PLANS SHOW, SPECIFICALLY THE FACADE ON THE NORTHERN
 PORTION OF THE BUILDING WITH THE SAND COLORED BLOCK
 PATTERN. THE PAINTING OF THE UPPER AREA (WHERE THE H&M
 SIGN IS MOUNTED) NEGATIVELY IMPACTS ONE OF THE
 ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS OF THE FACADE. THE BUILDING
 SHALL BE REPAINTED WITH EITHER THE ORIGINAL COLORS OR
 WITHIN THE MEDITERRANEAN COLOR PALETTE.
  
 3) THERE ARE EXISTING IN GROUND PLANTING AREAS,
 CONTAINING HEDGES, IN FRONT OF THE DISPLAY WINDOWS THAT
 ARE NOT SHOWN ON THE EXTERIOR FACADE PLAN. THE PLAN
 SHALL BE REVISED TO SHOW ACCURATE CONDITIONS.
  
 4) THE RECOVERED AWNINGS REQUIRE SEPARATE PERMITS, WITH
 PLANS, AND WILL NOT BE APPROVED AS PART OF THIS PERMIT.

 THE APPROVED FACADE PLAN. PLEASE NOTE THAT STAFF HAS
 INITIAL CONCERNS REGARDING THE CREATION OF OPENINGS
 THAT ARE LESS THAN TWO AND A HALF (2.5) FEET IN WIDTH
 AND WHAT IS TO OCCUR IN THE NEW DISPLAY BOXES.
  
 2) PLEASE PROVIDE A PICTURE OF WHAT THE PAINT COLOR
 "COVENTRY GRAY" LOOKS LIKE. IS IT USED ELSEWHERE IN
 CITYPLACE? THE PAINT SHALL MAINTAIN THE MEDITERRANEAN
 COLOR PALETTE.
  
 3) HOW DEEP ARE THE CURRENT PLANTING AREAS? THIS IS NOT
 SHOWN ON THE EXISTING CONDITION CROSS SECTION. THE NEW
 PLANING AREA LOOKS TOO SHALLOW AT APPROXIMATELY SIX (6)
 INCHES IN DEPTH TO SUPPORT ADEQUATE PLANTINGS.
  
 4) WHAT PLANTINGS ARE PROPOSED?
  
 5) PLEASE VERIFY THE SCALE LISTED ON THE VARIOUS PLANS.
 NONE OF THEM SEEM TO CORRESPOND TO THE DIMENSIONS ON
 THE PLANS (THIS MAY AFFECT COMMENT NO. 1).
  
 6) THE SIGNAGE AND RECOVERED AWNINGS REQUIRE SEPARATE
 PERMITS, WITH PLANS, AND WILL NOT BE APPROVED AS PART
 OF THIS PERMIT.
