 YOUR ATTACHED LETTER IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THE LETTER IS
 GIVING THE FASTENER SPACING AT 9" ON CENTER WHICH IS
 GIVEN IN THE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR A DESIGN PRESSURE OF
 -52.5 PSF. THIS WILL WORK FOR THE INTERIOR ROOF ZONE
 BUT NOT FOR THE PERIMETER AND CORNER AREAS OF THE ROOF.
 THE CORNER AND PERIMETER AREAS REQUIRE ENHANCED
 FASTENING BECAUSE THE NEGATIVE PRESSURES IN THESE AREAS
 ARE IN EXCESS OF THE -52.5 PSF THAT THE 9" O.C. SPACING
 AT THE 4" LAP AND THE 2 STAGGERED ROWS IN THE CENTER OF
 THE BASE SHEET IS GOOD FOR. IN ORDER TO GET HIGHER
 PRESSURES THE NUMBER OF FASTENERS IN THE BASE SHEET
 NEEDS TO BE INCREASED.
  
 TYPICALLY THE LETTER WOULD SPECIFY THAT THE NOA
 SPECIFIES A DESIGN PRESSURE OF -52.5 PSF WHEN THE BASE
 SHEET IS FASTENED AT 9" O.C. IN THE 4" LAP AND 9" O.C.
 IN TWO STAGGERED ROWS IN THE CENTER OF THE SHEET WITH
 11 GA. ANNULAR RING SHANK NAILS AND 1-5/8" DIAMETER TIN
 CAPS. THE ENHANCED FASTENING OF THE FOUR FEET WIDE
 PERIMETER AND CORNER AREAS AT THE ROOF EDGES WILL BE
 ACCOMPLISHED BY INCREASING THE FASTENER DENSITY TO 4"
 O.C. IN THE 4" LAP AN 4" O.C. IN TWO STAGGERED ROWS IN
 THE CENTER OF THE BASE SHEET.
