 1) THE MINOR AMENDMENT FOR THE LANDSCAPE REVISIONS HAS
 NOT BEEN APPROVED BY ZONING. ZONING WILL NOT APPROVE
 THIS PERMIT UNTIL THE MINOR AMENDMENT IS APPROVED.
  
 2) THERE HAVE BEEN MANY PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE
 APPROVED LANDSCAPE PLAN. LISTED BELOW ARE THE
 IDENTIFIED CHANGES AND STAFF'S DISPOSITION TO THE
 CHANGES BASED ON THE 3/22/10 MEETING:
  
 A. THE SABAL PALMS W/UNDER PLANTING REQUIRED TO PROVIDE
 ADDITIONAL BUFFERING AGAINST ANDROS ILES NORTH OF THE
 MULCH PATH HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED. THESE BUFFERS WERE
 REQUIRED AS PART OF THE PROJECT APPROVAL. 3/22/10
 MEETING AGREEMENT - SLASH PINE TREES SHALL BE INSTALLED
 WITH AN UNDER PLANTING OF SAW PALMETTO AND FAKAHATCHEE
 GRASS AS SHOWN IN THE TWO LOCATIONS SHOWN ON THE PLANS
 APPROVED ON NOVEMBER 20, 2008.
  
 B. THE SABAL PALMS TO SHADE THE MULCH PATH HAVE BEEN
 ELIMINATED. 3/22/10 MEETING AGREEMENT - STAFF
 RECOMMENDS THAT TREES OR PALMS BE INSTALLED ALONG THE
 PATH TO PROVIDE SHADE FOR PATH USERS. THIS IS A
 PREFERRED LOCATION FOR MITIGATION TREES.
  
 C. STAFF SUPPORTS THE SUBSTITUTION OF SHADE TREES AT
 THE PLAY AREA. THESE MAY REQUIRE ROOT BARRIERS.
  
 D. THE SABAL PALMS IN THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE SITE
 WERE REMOVED WITH THE DUMPSTER. 3/22/10 MEETING
 AGREEMENT - STAFF RECOMMENDS THAT TREES OR PALMS BE
 INSTALLED IN THIS LOCATION.
  
 E. THE SABAL PALMS IN THE NORTHERN TERMINAL ISLAND OF
 THE CLUB HOUSE HAVE BEEN REMOVED AND SHALL BE SHOWN ON
 THE PLANS AND INSTALLED TO MEET CODE REQUIREMENTS.
  
 F. THE PROPOSED PLANS DO NOT SHOW LANDSCAPE IN THE OPEN
 AREA NORTH OF BUILDING #6. LANDSCAPE ADJACENT TO ANDROS
 ILES WAS REQUIRED AS PART OF THE PROJECT APPROVAL.
 THERE ARE SOME RELOCATED PALMS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN THE
 GENERAL VICINITY THAT WERE INSTALLED ON A TEMPORARY
 BASIS. 3/22/10 MEETING AGREEMENT - INSTEAD OF
 RELOCATING THEM AGAIN, THEY SHOULD BE LEFT IN PLACE
 WITH THE UNDER PLANTING SHOWN ON THE APPROVED PLANS.
 THE REVISED PLANS SHALL ACCURATELY SHOW THE EXISTING
 CONDITIONS. NOTE: THE DEAD PALMS SHALL BE REMOVED AND
 REPLACED MEETING CANOPY REPLACEMENT REQUIREMENTS
 (CALCULATED BY DBH).
  
 G. THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER ADJACENT TO ANDROS ILES HAS
 BEEN CHANGED. STAFF DOES NOT OBJECT TO THE INSTALLATION
 OF ADDITIONAL SABAL PALMS IN THE BUFFER AREA. STAFF IS
 CONCERNED THAT THE RELOCATED FICUS RUBIGINOSA (RUSTY
 FIG) TREE WILL GROW LARGE AND WILL SQUEEZE OUT THE
 OTHER TREES AND PALMS IN THE IMMEDIATE AREA. 3/22/10
 MEETING AGREEMENT - IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE
 DEVELOPER AND LATER THE HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION TO
 REPLACE THE CANOPY VALUE OF ANY TREES AND PALMS WHICH
 DIE.
  
 H. THE TREES AND PALMS IN THE OPEN AREA NORTH OF
 BUILDING #5 WERE MOVED INTO THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER.
 3/22/10 MEETING AGREEMENT - STAFF RECOMMENDS THAT TREES
 OR PALMS BE INSTALLED IN THIS LOCATION TO PROVIDE
 ADDITIONAL SCREENING FOR ANDROS ISLE.
  
 I. THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER ADJACENT TO OKEECHOBEE
 BOULEVARD HAS BEEN CHANGED. STAFF AGREES WITH MOVING
 THE TREES BACK TO AVOID THE FPL LINES. THE PROPOSED
 LANDSCAPE PLANS SHOWS RELOCATED PALM TREES IN THE THREE
 EASEMENTS WHICH CROSS THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER. PLEASE
 PROVIDE VERIFICATION THAT THIS IS ACCEPTABLE TO THE
 PUBLIC UTILITIES AND THE CITY AS THE PLAT DEDICATES
 THESE AREAS AS UTILITY EASEMENTS. NOTE: THE FPL LETTER,
 DATED JULY 24, 2009, ADDRESSES THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE
 PALM TREES TO THE EXISTING OVERHEAD LINES AND NOT THE
 PLACEMENT OF THE PALMS WITHIN THE EASEMENTS.
  
 J. THE SABAL PALMS IN THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE SITE
 WERE REMOVED WITH THE DUMPSTER. 3/22/10 MEETING
 AGREEMENT - STAFF RECOMMENDS THAT TREES OR PALMS BE
 INSTALLED IN THIS LOCATION.
  
 K. THE RELOCATED SABAL PALMS ARE BEING REPLACED BY
 SIGNIFICANTLY FEWER GROUPS OF NEW SABAL PALMS BETWEEN
 THE BUILDINGS. 3/22/10 MEETING AGREEMENT - STAFF DOES
 NOT OBJECT TO THIS CHANGE PROVIDED THAT THE OVERALL
 TREE CANOPY REMAINS.
  
 L. THE ENTRY DRIVE LANDSCAPE HAS CHANGES, INCLUDING THE
 RELOCATION OF FIG TREES, WHICH WERE NOT SHOWN ON THE
 ORIGINAL PLANT INVENTORY, AND THE USE OF NEW NOT
 RELOCATED SABAL PALMS AND OAKS. 3/22/10 MEETING
 AGREEMENT - STAFF DOES NOT OBJECT TO THIS CHANGE
 PROVIDED THAT THE OVERALL TREE CANOPY REMAINS AND THE
 REVISED PLANS REFLECT ACCURATE CONDITIONS.
  
 M. THE PROPOSED PLANS NO LONGER SHOW SABAL PALMS NORTH
 OF THE LIFT STATION. 3/22/10 MEETING AGREEMENT - THE
 REVISED PLANS SHALL ACCURATELY SHOW THE VEGETATION
 AROUND THE LIFT STATION. NOTE: ANY EXOTICS TO BE
 REMOVED AND ANY TREES WHICH MEET MINIMUM CITY STANDARDS
 MAY BE COUNTED TOWARD MEETING THE CANOPY PRESERVATION
 REQUIREMENTS.
  
 N. THE PROPOSED PLANS SHOW 54 RELOCATED SABAL PALMS IN
 THE OAK PRESERVE AREA ON THE OAKTON COMMONS COMMERCIAL
 PARCEL. STAFF IS CONCERNED THAT THE PLANTING IS TOO
 DENSE AND WILL NOT FOSTER LONG TERM SUSTAINABILITY OF
 EITHER THE OAK TREES OR THE SABAL PALMS. 3/22/10
 MEETING AGREEMENT - PROVIDE A LETTER FROM OAKTON
 COMMONS COMMERCIAL APPROVING THE RELOCATION TO THIS
 LOCATION AND THAT OAKTON COMMONS COMMERCIAL IS
 RESPONSIBLE TO MAINTAIN THE TREES AND PALMS, INCLUDING
 THE CANOPY REPLACEMENT VALUE OF ANY TREES OR PALMS
 WHICH DIE. NOTE: ANY DEAD TREES OR PALMS SHALL BE
 REMOVED AND REPLACED MEETING CANOPY REPLACEMENT
 REQUIREMENTS (CALCULATED BY DBH).
  
 O. THE 13 RELOCATED SABAL PALMS ALONG THE EASTERN EDGE
 OF THE BANK PARCEL ARE NOT SHOWN IN THE CORRECT
 LOCATION. THEY SHALL BE SHOWN IN THEIR TRUE LOCATION.
  
 P. ALL OAKS SHALL BE CORRECTLY LABELED AS EITHER LAUREL
 OR LIVE SPECIES.
  
 3) MANY OF THE RELOCATED TREES AND PALMS WERE PLANTED
 WITH THE ROOT BALL BELOW THE SURROUNDING GRADE. STAFF
 IS CONCERNED THAT THE PLANTING DEPTH DOES NOT FOSTER
 LONG TERM SUSTAINABILITY OF THE TREES AND PALMS.
 3/22/10 MEETING AGREEMENT - IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF
 THE DEVELOPER AND LATER THE HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION TO
 REPLACE THE CANOPY VALUE OF ANY TREES AND PALMS WHICH
 DIE.
  
 4) THE RELOCATED TREES NEED TO BE TRIMMED UNDER THE
 SUPERVISION OF A CERTIFIED ARBORIST (OBSERVED DURING
 SITE VISIT).
  
 5) THE EXISTING TREES ALONG THE WEST AND NORTH SIDES OF
 THE LAKE SHALL BE SHOWN ON THE PLANS AS THEY ARE PART
 OF OAKTON PRESERVE. ANY DEAD TREES SHALL BE REPLACED.
 THE WORK ON THE LAKE BANK HAS ALTERED THE RELATIONSHIP
 OF THE BASES OF THE TREES TO THE SURROUNDING GRADE. ANY
 NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS SHALL BE MADE TO ENSURE LONG TERM
 SUSTAINABILITY.
  
 6) ANY TREES SHOWN AS EXISTING OR PROPOSED ON THE PLANS
 THAT HAVE DIED SHALL BE REPLACED AT AN EQUAL CANOPY
 VALUE (CALCULATED BY DBH).
  
 7) A REVISED TREE ALTERATION PERMIT IS REQUIRED
 CORRECTLY REFLECTING ALL CHANGES.
  
 8) THE NEWLY INSTALLED FENCING ALONG THE ANDROS ISLE
 PROPERTY BOUNDARY REQUIRES A PERMIT.
  
 9) THE ENTRYWAY BETWEEN UNITS 57 AND 58 WERE NOT
 CONSTRUCTED ACCORDING THE APPROVED SITE PLANS,
 LANDSCAPE PLANS AND SURVEYS (BOTH IN ZONING AND
 BUILDING PERMIT). THE DIFFERENCES ARE NOT REFLECTED ON
 THIS SET OF SUBMITTED PLANS. 3/22/10 MEETING AGREEMENT
 - ZONING WILL ACCEPT A PLAN FOR EITHER OR BOTH OPTIONS
 AS PART OF THE MINOR AMENDMENT, BUT THE BUILDING PERMIT
 PLANS NEED TO BE ACCURATE WITH WHAT IS INSTALLED AT
 TIME OF INSPECTION.
  
 10) THE TRANSFORMER BETWEEN LOTS 55 AND 56 IS NOT SHOWN
 ON THE APPROVED SITE PLANS, LANDSCAPE PLANS AND SURVEYS
 (BOTH IN ZONING AND BUILDING PERMIT). THERE APPEAR TO
 BE A NUMBER OF PADS BEING POURED FOR FUTURE
 TRANSFORMERS. 3/22/10 MEETING AGREEMENT - ZONING WILL
 ACCEPT SHEET RLP-11 AS THE MASTER GUIDE, BUT ALL
 BUILDING PERMIT PLANS NEED TO ACCURATELY SHOW THE
 CONDITIONS THAT ARE BEING CONSTRUCTED PRIOR TO THE
 INSPECTION.
