 1. THE SITE PLAN AND STRUCTURAL PLAN SHOULD CORRELATE.
 PLEASE INDICATE COMPASS NORTH ON THE STRUCTURAL PLAN.
 IT IS NOT CLEAR WHERE THE "EXISTING SCREEN ENCLOSURE"
 IS ON THE SITE PLAN; THIS IS REFERRED TO ON THE
 STRUCTURAL PLAN BUT NOT SHOWN ON THE SITE PLAN. THE
 SITE PLAN SHOWS A "PROPOSED HOUSE" AND "PROPOSED POOL"
 WITH A HATCHED AREA WHICH MAY REPRESENT THIS PROPOSED
 SCREEN ROOM, NOT CLEAR WHY IT WOULD GO THROUGH THE
 MIDDLE OF A PROPOSED POOL. A CURRENT, ACCURATE SITE
 PLAN SHOWING CLEARLY CURRENT CONDITIONS AS WELL AS
 PROPOSED WORK SHOULD CLARIFY SCOPE OF WORK.
  
 2. PROVIDE A CURRENT CLEAN SITE PLAN WITHOUT OLD CITY
 STAMPS ON IT. PERMIT INFORMATION FROM OLD PERMITS WERE
 SUBMITTED; PLEASE REMOVE DOCUMENTS NOT REQUIRED TO SHOW
 CODE COMPLIANCE FOR THIS PERMIT.
  
 3. IT APPEARS THAT THE SCREEN ENCLOSURE AROUND A POOL
 WILL BE EXTENDED. HOW WILL THIS COMPLY WITH FBC
 R4101.17, POOL SAFETY?

 1. PLEASE PROVIDE ALL RESPONSES IN WRITING.
  
 2. INDICATE THE SETBACK DIMENSIONS FROM THE PROPOSED
 SCREEN ENCLOSURE TO ALL ADJACENT PROPERTY LINES.
  
 3. PURSUANT TO THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ZONING AND
 LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS (ZLDR), SECTION
 94-304(D)(2)(B-E):
  
 B. EVERY SWIMMING POOL SHALL BE ENCLOSED BY A FENCE OR
 SIMILAR STRUCTURE WHICH IS INSTALLED TO OBSTRUCT ACCESS
 BY PERSONS OTHER THAN THE OWNERS OR OCCUPANTS OF THE
 RESIDENCE WITHIN WHICH A SWIMMING POOL IS LOCATED.
 BARRIERS OR FENCES SHALL BE AT LEAST FOUR FEET IN
 HEIGHT ABOVE GRADE.
  
 C. ACCESS TO AN ACCESSORY SWIMMING POOL MUST BE THROUGH
 A BUILDING OR THROUGH A SELF-CLOSING AND SELF-LATCHING
 GATE OR THROUGH A SCREEN ENCLOSURE DOOR WITH LATCHES
 PLACED AT LEAST 54 INCHES ABOVE BOTTOM OF GATE. AT
 LEAST 90 PERCENT OF THE SURFACE AREA OF ALL SCREEN
 ENCLOSURES SHALL BE SCREENING MATERIAL THROUGH WHICH
 AIR SHALL FLOW. ALL POOLS LOCATED ON A CORNER LOT SHALL
 BE SCREENED AT THE CORNER LOT LINE BY AT LEAST A
 42-INCH HIGH LANDSCAPE BUFFER, AS MEASURED FROM GRADE,
 AT THE PROPERTY LINE, TO ENSURE PRIVACY.
  
 D. IF A PATIO OR PAVED AREA IS PROVIDED ADJACENT TO OR
 SURROUNDING A POOL, IT SHALL BE DESIGNED TO DRAIN AWAY
 FROM THE POOL, BUT NOT ONTO ADJACENT PROPERTIES.
