| 4. THE PROPOSED EIGHT INCH FIRE LINE SHALL BE INSTALLED |
| IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 24, THE STANDARD FOR FIRE |
| SERVICE MAINS AND THEIR APPURTENANCES. THE FIRE LINE |
| AND FIRE DEPARTMENT CONNECTIONS SHALL BE PROPERLY |
| PRESSURE TESTED FOR TWO HOURS AT 200 PSIG. |

| 5. ADDITIONAL PLANS WILL NEED TO BE SUBMITTED FOR THE |
| FIRE PROTECTION EQUIPMENT PLANNED TO BE INSTALLED FOR |
| THE INDIVIDUAL DOCKS. |

| 6. THE PROPOSED FIRE LANE BETWEEN THE DOCKS AND THE |
| BUILDINGS SHALL BE ABLE TO SUPPORT THE WEIGHT OF FIRE |
| AND PARAMEDICAL EQUIPMENT. THE MINIMUM OF 32 TONS IS |
| REQUIRED. |

| 7. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT CONNECTIONS SHALL BE PROVIDED |
| WITH KNOX-BOX LOCKING CAPS. APPLICATIONS FOR THESE |
| DEVICES CAN BE OBTAINED FROM WEST PALM BEACH FIRE |
| RESCUE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 8 TO 5. |

| 8. THE BACKFLOW PREVENTION DEVICES USED TO CONTROL THE |
| FIRE-LINE SHALL BE CHAINED AND LOCKED TO PREVENT |
| TAMPERING. |

| 9. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT CONNECTION FOR THE SOUTHERNMOST |
| DOCK APPEARS TO BE FACING THE WRONG DIRECTION. |

| 10. FIRE AND PARAMEDICAL ACCESS SHALL BE MAINTAINED |
| DURING THE COURSE OF THE PROJECT SHOULD AN EMERGENCY |
| RESPONSE BECOME NECESSARY. |
