 THIS PLAN HAS BEEN REVIEWED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 ABOVE REFERENCED CODES AND FOUND TO BE DEFICIENT IN THE
 FOLLOWING:
  
 1. PAGE M-1: EF-1 AND EF-2 HAVE EXHAUST DUCTS UNDER
 POSITIVE PRESSURE WITHIN THE PLENUM CEILING AREA.
 EXHAUST DUCTS UNDER POSITIVE PRESSURE SHALL NOT BE
 LOCATED WITHIN A PLENUM IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBCM 601.3.
  
 2. NO OUTSIDE AIR CALCULATIONS COULD BE FOUND ON PLANS.
 VENTILATION SYSTEMS SHALL BE DESIGNED TO HAVE THE
 CAPACITY TO SUPPLY THE MINIMUM OUTDOOR AIRFLOW RATE
 DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBCM TABLE 403.3 BASED ON
 THE OCCUPANCY OF THE SPACE AND THE OCCUPANT LOAD OR
 OTHER PARAMETER AS STATED THEREIN. PLEASE PROVIDE
 OUTSIDE AIR CALCULATIONS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH FBCM
 403.3 OR 403.4.
  
 3. NO COOLING LOAD CALCULATIONS COULD BE FOUND APPENDED
 TO THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS. A COOLING LOAD CALCULATION
 SHALL BE ATTACHED TO THE CODE COMPLIANCE FORM SUBMITTED
 TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT WHEN THE BUILDING IS
 PERMITTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBCB 13-407.1.ABC.1.
 SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT SHALL BE SIZED TO PROVIDE NO MORE
 THAN THE SPACE AND SYSTEM LOADS CALCULATED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION.
  
 4. NOTE ON PAGE M-1 FLOOR PLAN CALLS FOR TWO TYPE E
 DIFFUSERS TO HAVE COOLING AND HEATING SETPOINTS. PLEASE
 CLARIFY THE DESIGN INTENT IN ACCORDANCE WIT FBCM 603.3
 AND FBCB 106.1.1. IT IS UNCLEAR HOW THESE DIFFUSERS,
 WHICH ARE PART OF A CENTRALIZED SYSTEM WITHOUT
 INDIVIDUAL CONTROLS ARE TO HAVE INDIVIDUAL SETPOINTS.
  
 5. NO INFORMATION COULD BE FOUND IN PLANS OR SUBMITTALS
 REGARDING WIND RESISTANCE CAPABILITIES OF THE RTUS AND
 EXHAUST VENTS. MECHANICAL APPLIANCES AND EQUIPMENT
 WHICH ARE EXPOSED TO WIND SHALL BE DESIGNED AND
 INSTALLED TO RESIST WIND PRESSURES IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 FBCM 301.13. PROVIDE MANUFACTURER???S DATA SHOWING RTUS
 AND EXHAUST VENTS DESIGNED FOR WIND RESISTANCE. ALSO,
 PROVIDE ATTACHMENT DETAILS WITH SUPPORTING WIND LOAD
 CALCULATIONS FOR RTUS, VENT CAPS AND CURBS FOR BUILDING
 PLAN REVIEW IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION.
  
 6. NO INFORMATION COULD BE FOUND ON PLANS REGARDING HOW
 AUXILIARY DRAIN PROTECTION IS TO BE PROVIDED FOR RTUS.
 AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO A SEPARATE DRAIN LINE, A
 WATER-LEVEL DETECTION DEVICE THAT WILL SHUT OFF THE
 EQUIPMENT SERVED PRIOR TO OVERFLOW OF THE PAN SHALL BE
 PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH FBCM 307.2.3(2). THE
 WATER-LEVEL DETECTION DEVICE SHALL CONNECT TO THE DRAIN
 PAN AT A HIGHER LEVEL THAN THE PRIMARY DRAIN
 CONNECTION.
  
 7. NOTE #7 ON RTU SCHEDULE CALLS FOR DUCT SMOKE
 DETECTORS TO BE INSTALLED ON THE RETURN AIR SYSTEM
 WHILE THE RTU DETAIL SHOWS THE DUCT SMOKE DETECTOR ON
 THE SUPPLY SIDE. PLEASE COORDINATE NOTES AND DETAILS
 SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH FBCM 606.2.1 (SUPPLY SIDE IS
 CORRECT). PROVIDE AUDIBLE AND VISUAL NOTIFICATION IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH FBCM 606.4.
  
 PLEASE RESPOND TO EACH COMMENT IN WRITING WITH AN
 EXPLANATION OF HOW EACH COMMENT WAS ADDRESSED AS WELL
