 DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE IS TOO CLOSE TO THE STREET. THE CITY
 GARBAGE TRUCK WILL NEED TO STOP ON THE SIDEWALK AND THE
 BACK OF TRUCK WILL EXTEND INTO THE STREET. NEITHER OF
 THESE WILL BE ALLOWED.
 IT IS SUGGESTED THAT YOU LOCATE THE DUMPSTER TO THE
 WEST END OF THE LOT TO THE LARGE GREEN SPACE AND HAVE
 THE ENCLOSURE ANGLED OUT INTO THE PARKING LOT. IF YOU
 DO THIS YOU WILL LOOSE ONE SPACE ON THE NORTH SIDE BUT
 GAIN TWO SPACES ON THE SOUTH SIDE.
 ALSO, IS THE PLANNED PARKING LOT SUBMITTED TO BE BUILT?
 IF IT IS YOU NEED TO REALIZE THAT THERE IS NO PATH FROM
 THE ADA PARKING SPACE TO THE SIDEWALK ON BROADWAY, AND
 THIS IS REQUIRED. SO YOU WOULD NEED TO MOVE THIS
 PARKING SPACE CLOSER TO BROADWAY TO MEET THAT
 REQUIREMENT.

 1. PLEASE PROVIDE ALL RESPONSES IN WRITING.
  
 2. CLARIFY IF THE PROPOSED WORK INCLUDES RESTIPING OF
 PARKING LOT AND ADDITION OF HANDICAP SPACE. BASED ON
 THE AERIAL, THE PARKING LOT DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE AN
 EXISTING HANDICAP PARKING SPACE. IF RESTRIPING THE
 PARKING LOT, PLEASE PROVIDE THE NUMBER OF EXISTING
 PARKING SPACES VERSES THE PROPOSED AND UTLIZE THE
 ATTACHED HANDICAP PARKING DETAIL AS A GUIDE TO INCLUDE
 ON THE RESUBMITTED SITE PLANS.
  
 3. PURSUANT TO THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ZONING AND
 LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS (ZLDR), SECTION 94-482(C):
 RETENTION OF REQUIRED OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES.
 REQUIRED OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES SHALL NOT BE
 REPLACED BY ANY OTHER ON-SITE FACILITY UNLESS EQUAL
 PARKING FACILITIES ARE PROVIDED ELSEWHERE. OFF-STREET
 PARKING SPACES EXISTING ON THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE
 ORDINANCE FROM WHICH THIS ARTICLE IS DERIVED SHALL NOT
 BE REDUCED TO AN AMOUNT LESS THAN REQUIRED.
  
 4. ENSURE THAT THE GATE OPENING DOES NOT INTEFERE WITH
 THE REQUIRED 24' AISLE WIDTH. PURSUANT TO ZLDR, SECTION
 94-481(B): THE INTENT OF THE PARKING CODE IS TO ENSURE
 ADEQUATE AND APPROPRIATELY LOCATED OFF-STREET PARKING
 AND LOADING, TO AVOID UNDUE CONGESTION ON STREETS, AND
 TO AVOID UNNECESSARY CONFLICTS BETWEEN VEHICLES AND
 PEDESTRIANS. PURSUANT TO ZLDR, SECTION 94-302(A)(1):
 FENCES, WALLS OR HEDGES SHALL NOT BE PLACED WITHIN THE
 AREA REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE FIRE AND LIFE SAFETY CODES
 TO BE CLEAR AND UNOBSTRUCTED FOR PASSAGE OF EMERGENCY
 VEHICLES OR FOR THE INGRESS AND EGRESS OF PERSONS OR
 ANIMALS.
  
 5. PURSUANT TO ZLDR, SECTION 94-444, FIGURE XIV-3
 (ATTACHED), WALLS MUST BE LANDSCAPED WITH SHRUBS AND
 HEDGES PLANTED AT TWO (2) FEET INTERVALS.
  
 NOTE: THE SUBMITTAL OF THE REQUESTED INFORMATION MAY
 GENERATE ADDITIONAL COMMENTS.
