 THE CITY'S LANDSCAPE PLANNER (BOB KUSSNER, 822-1462)
 HAS MADE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS REGARDING THE PROPOSED
 LANDSCAPING:
  
 1) ALL LIGHT POLES SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE LANDSCAPE
 ISLANDS.CONSIDER MOVING THE LIGHT POLE TO THE OTHER
 SIDE OF THE DRIVE AISLE, ADJACENT TO THE MAINTENANCE
 BUILDING.
  
 2) IT IS OUR UNDERSTANDING THAT THE HANDICAP PARKING
 SPACE IS BEING REMOVED.IF THIS IS THE CASE, WIDEN THE
 LANDSCAPE ISLAND TO PROVIDE A MINIMUM OF FIVE (5) FROM
 INSIDE OF CURB TO INSIDE OF CURB....THIS CREATES A MORE
 SUSTAINABLE PLANTING BED.
  
 3) REPLACE THE WAX MYRTLE SPECIES WITH CRAPE MYRTLES.
  
 4) CONSIDER SHIFTING THE PROPOSED OAK TREES ALONG THE
 NORTH SIDE TO THE EAST...THIS WOULD PROVIDE SPACE FOR A
 THIRD CRAPE MYRTLE IN THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE
 PROPERTY.
  
 5) WITHIN THE "EXISTING" PARKING LOT, CONTINUE THE
 SPANISH STOPPER HEDGE ALONG THE BUFFER BETWEEN THE
 PARKING LOT AND THE ADJACENT OFFICE BUILDING.
  
 6) WITHIN THE "EXISTING" PARKING LOT, REPLACE THE
 LIGUSTRUM THAT APPEARS TO BE MISSING NEXT TO THE QUEEN
 PALM.
  
 NOTE: ANY CHANGES TO THE SITE LANDSCAPE PLANS BEYOND
 WHAT WAS APPROVED BY THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT ON JANUARY
 29, 2007, WILL REQUIRE A MINOR AMENDMENT TO THE VILLAGE
 COMMERCE CENTER COMMERCIAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT (CPD).
