THANKS FOR CONTACTING ME WITH REGARDS TO
THE VIOLATION NOTICE I POSTED AT YOUR
PROPERTY 517 42ND ST.. SO, IN FAIRNESS
TO THE OWNER OF THE VACANT LOT ACROSS
THE STREET AT 518 42DND ST. WHERE PEOPLE
DUMP THEIR TRASH I ALWAYS TRY TO TALK TO
THE NEIGHBORS NOT ONLY TO EDUCATE THEM
BUT TO TRY AND FIND OUT IF ANYONE SEES
WHO IS DUMPING ON VACANT LOTS. IN THIS
CASE, AFTER SPENDING A LOT OF MY TIME
TALKING WITH NEIGHBORS A NEIGHBOR
FINALLY CAME BACK TO ME AND SAID THEY
WOULD TELL ME WHO DUMPS THERE. I WAS
INFORMED THAT YOUR TENANT WHO LIVES IN
THE REAR UNIT IS THE ONE WHO DUMPS
THERE. THEREFORE, IN ORDER TO CLEAN
THIS PILE UP I CITED YOUR PROPERTY WHICH
REQUIRED THAT EITHER YOU PLACE A REQUEST
FOR A SPECIAL PICKUP (FEE) IMMEDIATELY
OR REMOVE ALL THE TRASH/DEBRIS FROM IN
FRONT OF THAT VACANT. OTHERWISE, I WILL
FAIL THE REINSPECTION AND HAVE A WORK
ORDER MADE TO HAVE THE PILE PICKED UP
FOR A FEE OF $350.

I RECALL A FEW YEARS BACK THAT I HAD TO
DEAL WITH THE ISSUE OF YOUR TENANTS
DUMPING THERE WHEN THE OWNER OF THE LOT
CALLED THE CITY TO REPORT THE ILLEGAL
DUMPING AFTER TALKING TO YOUR TENANT.
AND NOW AGAIN YOUR NEW TENANT IS PLACING
THEIR TRASH ACROSS THE STREET. PLEASE
ENSURE IN THE FUTURE THAT ALL YOUR
TENANTS PLACE ALL THEIR TRASH ONLY IN
FRONT (NOT AT THE PROPERTY LINE) OF
WHERE THEY LIVE AND NOT IN FRONT OF ANY
NEIGHBOR?S PROPERTY.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW YOU WILL ADDRESS
THIS VIOLATION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS I
WAS NOT ABLE TO REINSPECT YESTERDAY DUE
TO OTHER ISSUES I WAS TIED UP WITH.
OTHERWISE, I WILL HAVE TO HAVE IT
CLEANED UP AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE
FEE.
