 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. MAKE THE FOLLOWING CORRECTIONS TO THE TREE
 DISPOSITION LIST:
 ??? SATISFIED. PROVIDE THE TREE DISPOSITION INVENTORY
 MAP AS AN OVERLAY TO THE EXISTING SITE CONFIGURATION AS
 SHOWN ON THE SURVEY, NOT THE PROPOSED SITE PLAN SO THAT
 THE LOCATIONS MATCH THE TREE SURVEY.
 ??? SATISFIED. MOVE ALL MITIGATION INFORMATION TO THE
 TREE DISPOSITION SHEETS, SHOULD NOT BE ON THE LANDSCAPE
 SHEETS.
 ??? SATISFIED. CORRECT BOTANICAL NAME FOR MAHOGANY IN
 THE ARBORIST REPORT.
 ??? SATISFIED. TREES PROPOSED TO BE REMOVED WITH A
 CANOPY DIAMETER OF 20 FEET OR MORE SHOULD HAVE THE
 MITIGATION SQUARE FOOTAGE CALCULATED BASED ON THE
 ACTUAL DIAMETER. TREES LESS THAN 20 FEET CANOPY
 DIAMETER AND PALMS SHOULD SHOW THE CATEGORY MITIGATION
 DUE AS SQUARE FOOTAGE.
 ??? SATISFIED. PROVIDE THE TOTAL MITIGATION SQUARE
 FOOTAGE DUE INCLUDING THE PALM MITIGATION.

 THE PLANT LIST BY TREE CATEGORY AND PROVIDE A TOTAL

 ??? SATISFIED. CORRECT NOTE ON L1.2 ALL CANOPY
 MITIGATION MUST BE PROVIDED ON SITE OR PAYMENT IN LIEU
 PAYMENT MADE TO THE CANOPY MITIGATION FUND.
 1/26/23 BONDING IS NOT AN OPTION BY CODE PER THE
 PLANNING AND ZONING ADMINISTRATOR.
  
 2. SATISFIED. SECTION 94-448 (D)(3) REQUIRES NATIVE
 TREES AND PALMS IN GOOD CONDITION TO BE PRESERVED ON
 SITE OR RELOCATED. PROVIDE THE DETAILS OF THE CONDITION
 FOR EACH NATIVE TREE OR PALM PROPOSED TO BE REMOVED IN
 THE ARBORISTS REPORT AND EXPLAIN THE REASON FOR REMOVAL
 PER SECTION 94-448.
  
 3. SATISFIED. PROVIDE INFORMATION ON WHAT HAPPENED TO
 THE KAPOK TREE THAT WAS LOCATED ON THIS SITE.
 VERY SAD THAT THIS TREE WAS LOST.
  
  
 4. SATISFIED. THE LACK OF TREE CANOPY AND THE EXTENSIVE
 PAVED AREAS IN THE DESIGN AROUND THE PROPOSED BUILDING
 IS NOTED, THE HEAT ISLAND CREATED WILL NOT BE
 PEDESTRIAN FRIENDLY. THERE IS A DEFICIT OF TREE CANOPY
 REPLACEMENT.
 1/26/23 THE TREE CANOPY MITIGATION CAN BE ADDED
 ANYWHERE WITHIN THE CSPD BOUNDARY. THE ADDED TREES
 CANNOT BE REPLACEMENTS FOR TREES THAT ARE MISSING AND
 SHOULD BE REPLACED AS REQUIRED AS SHOWN ON APPROVED
 PLANS OR ARE OBVIOUS REQUIRED TREES SUCH AS IN PARKING
 AREAS. A MASTER PLAN MAY BE SUBMITTED WITH TREE
 LOCATIONS, SPECIES AND SIZES INDICATED THAT WOULD BE
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED WITH THIS PETITION, AND THE PLAN
 THEN SUBMITTED WITH THE LANDSCAPE PERMIT FOR THE
 BUSINESS SCHOOL PROJECT. THIS WOULD REQUIRE THE TREES
 TO BE PLANTED AND THE LANDSCAPE COMPLETED PRIOR TO THE
 CO FOR THE NEW BUILDING.
  
  
  
 5. SATISFIED. THE BUFFER ALONG OLIVE NEEDS TO CONSIST
 OF TREES APPROPRIATE UNDER THE POWER LINES TO PROVIDE
 SHADE FOR THE SIDEWALK INSTEAD OF PALMS.
  
 6. SATISFIED. CORRECT THE FLORIDA FRIENDLY LANDSCAPE
 DESIGN OPTIONS CHART TO ELIMINATE TAKING 51% IN TWICE
 IN THE SAME OPTION. SEE (3)GROUNDCOVER, (4) SHRUBS, AND
 (5) TREES.
 SOD AREA FOR OPTION #7 IS DIFFICULT TO VERIFY, SUGGEST
 DROP FROM LIST.
  
  
 7. SATISFIED. SHOW LOCATIONS OF BACKFLOWS AND ADJUST
 LOCATIONS OF UTILITY LINES TO RESOLVE CONFLICTS WITH
 EXISTING AND PROPOSED TREES AND LANDSCAPING, AS THERE
 ARE MULTIPLE CONFLICTS SHOWN.
  
 8. SATISFIED. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-445 L.
 PLANT SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF PLANT
 MATERIAL ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA NATIVE OR DROUGHT
 TOLERANT SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE
 LIST OF SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH
 FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH
 FLORIDA LANDSCAPES. PROVIDE ONE ACTUAL PERCENTAGE BASED
 ON THE PLANT LIST.
  
 9. SATISFIED. PROVIDE SCREENING HEDGES FOR ALL GROUND
 MOUNTED VALVES AND EQUIPMENT.
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
 2. PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF THE FIRST BUILDING PERMIT FOR
 THE BUILDING, THE APPLICANT SHALL SUBMIT A REVISED
 LANDSCAPE PLAN WITH THE TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHOWING
 THE LOCATIONS AND SPECIES OF THE TREES TO MEET THE TREE
 MITIGATION REQUIRED ON SITE FOR REVIEW.
