 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS FOR THE FINAL SITE PLAN
 APPROVAL:
  
  
 1. SATISFIED. LIST THE TREE SPECIES AND SQUARE FOOTAGE
 CREDIT FOR THE OPEN SPACE SQUARE FOOTAGE CALCULATIONS
 FOR EACH OPEN SPACE. PERCENTAGES DO NOT MEET THE
 REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ENTIRE PRIVATE OPEN SPACE SO AN
 AREA MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS NEEDS TO BE DESIGNATED.
 OS-1 OPEN SPACE PLAN DOES NOT MATCH THE LANDSCAPE PLAN
 SHEET LP-1 FOR THE NUMBER OF CLUSIA TREES AT THE
 NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE PLAZA.
 NEEDS TO BE BASED ON PROVIDED. DESIGNATE AN AREA THAT
 MEETS THE MINIMUM OPEN SPACE AREA REQUIRED AND THEN
 PROVIDE PERCENTAGES OF VEGETATED AREA AND TREE CANOPY
 FOR THAT AREA. 17,895 SQ FT REQUIRES 4,473.75 SQ FT
 VEGETATED AREA AND 5,368.5 SQ FT TREE CANOPY, WHICH ARE
 NOT MET.
 THE PUBLIC OPEN SPACE PLAZA NEEDS TO MEET THE CRITERIA
 ABOVE. THE PRIVATE OPEN SPACE ROOFTOP GARDEN HAS SOME
 TREE CANOPY SQUARE FOOTAGE CALCULATIONS THAT ARE OFF
 AND LIGUSTRUMS ARE NOT COUNTED.
 10/31/22: THE AREA DESIGNATED AS PUBLIC OPEN SPACE HAS
 CHANGED FROM THE APPROVAL. MAKE THE FOLLOWING
 CORRECTIONS TO THE PLAN:
 ??? THE AREA CANNOT HAVE THE SMALL PIECE SPLIT OFF FOR
 THE PASEO, AS IT WOULD HAVE TO MEET THE OPEN SPACE
 REQUIREMENTS ON ITS OWN IF SEPARATED. IF CHANGING THE
 DESIGNATED AREA, SHOW ALL THE REQUIREMENTS ARE MET FOR
 THE NEW AREA.
 ??? ADDITIONAL TREES PROVIDED FOR THE CONDITION FOR THE
 5 SHADE TREES TO BE PROVIDED ON THE SITE ARE NOT TO BE
 COUNTED TOWARD OPEN SPACE CANOPY REQUIREMENTS.
 2. SATISFIED. THE WEST STREETSCAPE DOES NOT MEET THE
 REQUIREMENTS FOR PLACEMENT OR NUMBER OF THE REQUIRED
 STREET TREES ALONG THE CURB. THE MEDIAN PLACEMENT OF
 TREES DO NOT MEET THE INTENT OF PROVIDING TREE CANOPY
 OVER THE PEDESTRIAN AREAS OF THE STREETSCAPE.
 THE RESPONSE TO COMMENT DID NOT INCLUDE THE WAIVER
 REQUEST FOR THE WEST STREETSCAPE SEGMENT AS INDICATED
 ON SHEET LP-1. 4 TREES ARE PROVIDED IN THE STREETSCAPE,
 STAFF DISCUSSED AND REQUESTS ADDING ONE ADDITIONAL TREE
 ON EACH SIDE OF THE DROPOFF CANOPY TO PROVIDE
 ADDITIONAL SHADE FOR THE SIDEWALK AREA AND ADDING THE
 REMAINING 3 TREES TO THE PLAZA PUBLIC OPEN SPACE TO
 PROVIDE ADDITIONAL PEDESTRIAN SHADE. THIS MEETS THE
 INTENT OF THE STREETSCAPE REQUIREMENTS.
 TREES ADDED IN QUADRILLE MEDIAN DO NOT CONTRIBUTE TO
 SHADE FOR PEDESTRIANS BUT WILL IMPROVE THE AESTHETICS.
 STAFF SUGGESTS THE USE OF BULNESIA ARBOREA TO FOLLOW
 THE PATTERN ON QUADRILLE AND ALABAMA AVENUE ADJACENT TO
 RESTORATION HARDWARE SITE.
 10/31/22: THE 5 ADDITIONAL SHADE TREES NEED TO BE
 PROVIDED ON SITE AND IDENTIFIED ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN.
  
 3. SATISFIED. PROVIDE PRELIMINARY FDOT APPROVAL FOR ALL
 TREES IN THE FDOT RIGHT OF WAY.
 THE STREET TREES EAST OF THE GARAGE ENTRANCE ON
 LAKEVIEW AND THE STREET TREES WEST OF THE GARAGE
 ENTRANCE ON OKEECHOBEE APPEAR TO BE IN FDOT SIGHT LINES
 PER THE ENGINEERING PLANS. THESE TREES NEED TO BE MOVED
 OUT OF THE SIGHT LINES CLOSER TO THE BUILDING. THERE
 MAY BE DRAINAGE LINES ON THE OKEECHOBEE SIDE THAT WILL
 ALSO HAVE TO BE MOVED TO ACCOMMODATE THE TREES.
 10/31/22 INDICATE IF THE STREETSCAPE PLAN SUBMITTED
 WILL MEET FDOT PERMITTING REQUIREMENTS.
  
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
  
 1. EXFILTRATION AND DRAINAGE SYSTEM LOCATIONS WILL BE
 DESIGNED TO AVOID CONFLICTS WITH THE STREET TREES AND
 PLAZA TREES AS SHOWN IN THE APPROVED VERSION OF THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN.
 2. STREET TREES AND LANDSCAPING WILL REQUIRE A FDOT
 PERMIT.
  
 THESE CONDITIONS ARE IN ADDITION TO THE PREVIOUS
 CONDITIONS.
