 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. SECTION 94-448 (D)(3) REQUIRES
 NATIVE TREES IN GOOD CONDITION TO BE PRESERVED ON SITE
 OR RELOCATED. ANSI A 300 (PART 5) STANDARDS SPECIFY
 EXAMPLES OF SUITABILITY RATINGS OF GOOD, MODERATE, OR
 POOR FOR RELOCATION. PROVIDE AN ARBORIST REPORT SHOWING
 CONDITION AND RELOCATION POTENTIAL FOR TREES AND PALMS
 PROPOSED TO BE REMOVED.
  
 THE ARBORISTS REPORT RATINGS ARE IN PERCENTAGES AND IT
 APPEARS THE HIGHEST RATING IS 70% FOR ANY TREE OR PALM
 ON THE LIST. THE BREAKING POINT IS 71% FOR GOOD
 CONDITION WHICH SEEMS TO ELIMINATE THE POSSIBILITY OF
 RELOCATING ANY NATIVE TREES OR PALMS. PROVIDE THE
 SOURCE OF THE METHODOLOGY FOR THESE RATINGS ON THE TREE
 DISPOSITION PLAN.
  
 2. SATISFIED. PER SECTION 94-443(C)(3)A. AND B.,
 TERMINAL LANDSCAPE ISLANDS AND INTERIOR ISLANDS MUST
 HAVE AT LEAST 8 FEET WIDE LANDSCAPE AREA AND RUN THE
 FULL LENGTH OF THE ADJACENT PARKING SPACE. EACH AREA
 SHALL HAVE AT LEAST ONE SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE PER ROW
 OF PARKING AND AN INTERIOR ISLAND MUST BE PROVIDED SO
 THERE ARE NO MORE THAN 10 SPACES IN A ROW. PROVIDE THE
 REQUIRED LANDSCAPE ISLANDS FOR ALL REQUIRED PARKING.
  
 3. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. PROVIDE AN EXHIBIT SHOWING THE
 PARKING AREA SURFACE CALCULATIONS, PARKING SPACE AREAS
 AND LANDSCAPE AREAS PROVIDED TO DEMONSTRATE COMPLIANCE
 WITH SECTIONS 94-443 (C)(3) AND (4). PROVIDE THE
 CALCULATIONS IN THE LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENT CHART. REFER
 TO FIGURE XIV-1. SHOW THE ACTUAL PROVIDED INTERIOR
 LANDSCAPE SQUARE FOOTAGE.
  
 CALCULATIONS MUST BE INCLUDED FOR 94-443 (C) (4) AND
 THE COMBINED SQUARE FOOTAGE OF BOTH REQUIREMENTS SHOWN.
 THE PROVIDED INTERIOR AREAS MUST BE WITHIN THE PARKING
 AREA AND DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY AREAS OUTSIDE OF THE EDGE
 OF THE PARKING/VEHICULAR USE AREA EXCEPT VEHICLE
 OVERHANG.
  
  
 4. SATISFIED. REMOVE THE REFERENCE TO ONE SHADE TREE
 REQUIRED PER 100 SQ FT OF REQUIRED LANDSCAPE AREA AS
 THIS IS NO LONGER IN THE LANDSCAPE CODE.
  
 5. NOT SATISFIED. SECTION 94-443(C)(3) REQUIRES THAT A
 MINIMUM OF 75 PERCENT OF ALL TREES THAT ARE REQUIRED TO
 BE PLANTED WITHIN THE INTERIOR OF AN OFF STREET PARKING
 AREA SHALL BE CATEGORY 1 SHADE TREES. SHOW THE
 PERCENTAGE OF CATEGORY 1 TREES PROVIDED FOR THE
 REQUIRED LANDSCAPE AREAS.
  
 PLAN INDICATES THIS REQUIREMENT IS NOT MET. MORE
 INFORMATION ON ALL LANDSCAPE ISLANDS AND TREE SPECIES
 IS REQUIRED.
  
  
 6. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. SHOW THE 30% REQUIRED AND
 PROVIDED LINEAR LANDSCAPE FOR AROUND EACH BUILDING IN
 THE CODE REQUIREMENT CHART.
 GARAGE ENTRANCES CANNOT BE EXCLUDED. USE THE TOTAL
 PERIMETER OF EACH BUILDING TO CALCULATE THE REQUIRED
 30%.
  
 7. SATISFIED. IMPERVIOUS/LANDSCAPE AREA IS BARELY
 WITHIN THE REQUIREMENT OF 15% OF THE SITE. STAFF
 SUGGESTS ADDING AREA TO AVOID ANY NEED FOR A MAJOR
 AMENDMENT FOR ANY MINOR CHANGES IN THE FUTURE.
  
 8. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. SHOW ALL UTILITIES AND DRAINAGE
 LINES ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN TO AVOID CONFLICTS WITH
 REQUIRED LANDSCAPING. SHOW LOCATIONS OF ALL GROUND
 MOUNTED VALVES, FPL TRANSFORMERS, AND OTHER GROUND
 MOUNTED EQUIPMENT AND DEDUCT ANY PERVIOUS AREA FROM THE
 TOTAL FOR THE SITE.
  
 THE UTILITY LINES ARE SHOWN, BUT THERE ARE MULTIPLE
 CONFLICTS WITH THE LOCATIONS OF LINES AND LANDSCAPING.
 ADJUST LOCATIONS OF UTILITIES TO AVOID LANDSCAPE AREAS.
 FDC IN FRONT OF GENESIS BUILDING.
  
 9. SATISFIED. PROVIDE THE 50 REQUIRED FLORIDA FRIENDLY
 POINTS BASED ON THE FINAL PLANT LIST PER SECTION
 94-443(G).
  
 10. NOT SATISFIED. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-445
 L. PLANT SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF PLANT
 MATERIAL ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA NATIVE OR DROUGHT
 TOLERANT SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE
 LIST OF SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH
 FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH
 FLORIDA LANDSCAPES. PROVIDE THE ACTUAL PERCENTAGE BASED
 ON THE PLANT LIST.

 ITEMS LISTED IN COMMENT #8.
 ADD A NOTE THAT ALL EQUIPMENT WILL BE SCREENED.
  
 12. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. STAFF SUGGESTS SUBSTITUTING
 GREEN BUTTONWOOD FOR GUMBO LIMBO TO AVOID ROOT RELATED
 ISSUES IN CONFINED AREAS.
  
 THE COMMENT RESPONSE DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. PROVIDE MORE
 INFORMATION.
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 7/27/22:
  
 13. ONLY TREES PROPOSED TO BE REMOVED WITH A CANOPY
 DIAMETER OF 20 FEET OR MORE SHOULD HAVE THE MITIGATION
 SQUARE FOOTAGE CALCULATED BASED ON THE ACTUAL DIAMETER.
 TREES LESS THAN 20 FEET CANOPY DIAMETER AND PALMS
 SHOULD SHOW THE CATEGORY MITIGATION DUE. THE TREE
 CATEGORY LIST IS AVAILABLE FROM CITY STAFF. REVISE THE
 TREE DISPOSITION PLAN SHEET L-001 TO REFLECT THE
 CORRECT CANOPY MITIGATION SQUARE FOOTAGE FOR EACH TREE
 OR PALM AND PROVIDE THE CORRECT TOTAL MITIGATION DUE.
  
 14. SHOW THE PERCENTAGE OF IMPERVIOUS/LANDSCAPE AREA ON
 THE CODE REQUIREMENT CHART ON SHEET L-101.
  
 15. REQUIRED OPEN SPACE IS 40% FOR THIS ZONING
 CATEGORY. CORRECT THIS ON THE CODE REQUIREMENTS CHART
 AND CALCULATE THE REQUIRED TREES, FLOWERING TREES AND
 SHRUBS.
  
 16. THE HEDGE FOR THE DUMPSTER FOR 3 NON ACCESS SIDES
 HAS NOT BEEN FULLY PROVIDED.
  
  
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
