 FEBRUARY 25, 2022
 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. PROVIDE THE REQUIRED TREE IN THE NORTHWEST TERMINAL
 LANDSCAPE ISLAND.
  
 2. SECTION 94-443(C)(3) REQUIRES THAT A MINIMUM OF 75
 PERCENT OF ALL TREES THAT ARE REQUIRED TO BE PLANTED
 WITHIN THE INTERIOR OF AN OFF STREET PARKING AREA SHALL
 BE CATEGORY 1 SHADE TREES. SHOW THE PERCENTAGE OF
 CATEGORY 1 TREES PROVIDED FOR THE REQUIRED LANDSCAPE
 AREAS.
 THERE ARE 6 TERMINAL ISLANDS, REQUIRING 5 BE CATEGORY 1
 TREES.
  
 3. THE PROPOSED ROYAL POINCIANA TREES WILL CONFLICT
 WITH THE SEWER LINE AND GREASE TRAPS AND OBSCURE THE
 PROPOSED SIGNAGE ON THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING. CHOOSE A
 SMALLER TREE OR PALMS THAT WILL NOT CONFLICT AND PLACE
 SO THEY ARE NOT IN CONFLICT WITH SEWER LINES.
  
 4. LABEL ALL EXISTING TREES TO REMAIN ON THE LANDSCAPE
 PLAN WITH SPECIES AND NUMBER FROM THE TREE DISPOSITION
 PLAN.
  
 5. THE FICUS TREES MAY NOT BE ABLE TO REMAIN ALONG THE
 EAST PROPERTY LINE WITH THE REQUIRED FENCE TO BE
 INSTALLED, AND THEY ARE IN POOR CONDITION. BUFFER TREES
 MAY BE PLACED OUTSIDE THE 5 FOOT LANDSCAPE BUFFER IN
 ADDITIONAL GREEN SPACE.
  
 6. THE GUMBO LIMBO TREE IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR THE
 SOUTH PROPERTY LINE AS IT CONFLICTS WITH UTILITIES.
 REPLACE WITH AN APPROPRIATE SPECIES.
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
