 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. PROVIDE A SEPARATE TREE DISPOSITION PLAN SHOWING THE
 LOCATIONS OF THE EXISTING TREES AND INCLUDE THE
 FOLLOWING INFORMATION:
 ? ADD A COLUMN TO THE CHART FOR MITIGATION SQUARE
 FOOTAGE DUE AND SHOW THE AMOUNT FOR EACH TREE PROPOSED
 TO BE REMOVED BASED ON THE CATEGORY OR TREE CANOPY
 DIAMETER. COLUMN SHOULD BE LABELED MITIGATION DUE.
 TREES WITH A CANOPY 20 FEET OR MORE IN DIAMETER MUST
 HAVE THE ACTUAL SQUARE FOOTAGE CALCULATED AND ENTERED
 ON THE CHART.
 ? PROVIDE TOTAL OF MITIGATION SQUARE FOOTAGE DUE.
 ? PROVIDE A TOTAL OF MITIGATION SQUARE FOOTAGE PROVIDED
 BASED ON THE PLANT LIST.
  
 2. SECTION 94-448 (D)(3) REQUIRES NATIVE TREES IN GOOD
 CONDITION TO BE PRESERVED ON SITE OR RELOCATED. ANSI A
 300 (PART 5) STANDARDS SPECIFY EXAMPLES OF SUITABILITY
 RATINGS OF GOOD, MODERATE, OR POOR FOR RELOCATION.
 PROVIDE AN ARBORIST REPORT SHOWING CONDITION FOR ALL
 TREES AND RELOCATION POTENTIAL FOR THE NATIVE TREES AND
 PALMS PROPOSED TO BE REMOVED.
  
 3. PROVIDE THE CALCULATIONS FOR THE MINIMUM REQUIRED
 SHADE TREES, FLOWERING TREES AND SHRUBS FOR THE SITE
 BASED ON 40% OPEN SPACE PER SECTION 94-442(C)(2)B.
 PROVIDE THE CALCULATIONS FOR THE OPEN SPACE BASED ON
 THE SITE SQUARE FOOTAGE. ADD THE MULTIFAMILY TREE
 REQUIREMENT TO THIS TOTAL.
  
 4. PROVIDE THE NUMBER AND PERCENTAGE OF SUBSTITUTION OF
 PALMS FOR REQUIRED TREES. SECTION 94-442(D) REQUIRES A
 3:1 RATIO FOR SUBSTITUTION FOR PALMS EXCEPT THE LISTED
 1:1 SPECIES.
  
  
 5. PER SECTION 94-443(A)(2) LABEL THE REQUIRED 5 FOOT
 LANDSCAPE BUFFER ALONG EACH PROPERTY LINE AND CALCULATE
 THE NUMBER OF TREES REQUIRED AND PROVIDED FOR EACH
 BUFFER SEGMENT. THE TOTAL LENGTH OF THE PROPERTY LINE
 PER THE SURVEY MUST BE USED.
  
 6. PER SECTION 94-443 (E)2., PROVIDE THE 30% FOUNDATION
 PLANTING CALCULATION REQUIRED AND PROVIDED FOR EACH
 BUILDING.
  
 7. PER SECTION 94-443(C)(3)A. AND B., TERMINAL
 LANDSCAPE ISLANDS AND INTERIOR ISLANDS MUST HAVE AT
 LEAST 8 FEET WIDE LANDSCAPE AREA AND RUN THE FULL
 LENGTH OF THE ADJACENT PARKING SPACE. EACH AREA SHALL
 HAVE AT LEAST ONE SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE PER ROW OF
 PARKING. LANDSCAPE BUFFER OF 5 FEET MAY BE COUNTED AS
 PART OF
 THE TERMINAL ISLAND. SHOW DIMENSIONS ON THE LANDSCAPE
 PLAN.
  
 8. A MINIMUM OF 75% OF ALL TREES REQUIRED TO BE PLANTED
 WITHIN THE PARKING AREA MUST BE CATEGORY 1 SHADE TREES.
 SHOW THE PERCENTAGE PROVIDED.
 9. PER SECTION 94-442(G) PROVIDE THE REQUIRED 50 POINTS
 FROM THE FLORIDA FRIENDLY DESIGN OPTIONS LIST AND SHOW
 THE TOTAL PROVIDED.
 10. PROVIDE A SECTION IN A LANDSCAPE DATA CHART TO
 COMPLY WITH SECTION 94-445 L. PLANT SPECIES. A MINIMUM
 OF 60 PERCENT OF PLANT MATERIAL ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA
 NATIVE OR DROUGHT TOLERANT SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE
 CITY LIST OR THE LIST OF SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT
 EDITION OF SOUTH FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT
 WATERWISE SOUTH FLORIDA LANDSCAPES. PROVIDE THE TOTAL
 PERCENTAGE OF NATIVE AND DROUGHT TOLERANT PLANTS BASED
 ON FINAL PLANT LIST.
  
 11. LOCATIONS OF PROPOSED UTILITY LINES INCLUDING
 WATER, SEWER AND DRAINAGE CONFLICT WITH REQUIRED
 LANDSCAPING. CIVIL ENGINEERING PLAN, SITE PLAN AND
 LANDSCAPE PLAN MUST BE CONSISTENT.
  
 12. SHOW AND LABEL ALL OVERHEAD POWER LINES THAT WILL
 LIMIT THE TREE SPECIES TO RIGHT TREE RIGHT PLACE
 GUIDELINES.
  
 13. PER SECTION 94-443 (A)(1) A PROTECTIVE SCREEN WALL
 IS REQUIRED ALONG THE ADJACENT RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY
 LINES.
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
 2. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERMITTING AND INSTALLATION OF THE
 STREET TREES AND RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING AND
 IRRIGATION APPROVED WITH THIS PETITION.
 3. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE ROAD RIGHT OF
 WAY LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION. THIS WILL BE THROUGH A
 SEPARATE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY.
