 FEBRUARY 9, 2021
 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE INSTALLATION AND
 COMPLETION OF THE APPROVED AND PERMITTED LANDSCAPING
 FOR THE CO OF THE EXISTING BUILDING EXPANSION. THE
 CURRENT BUILDING IS OPERATING UNDER A TCO. IF THE
 LANDSCAPING IS COMPLETED TO PERMIT PLAN, AND
 CERTIFICATION FROM THE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT CAN BE
 ISSUED, A FINAL INSPECTION SHOULD BE SCHEDULED, AND THE
 LANDSCAPE PERMIT 17071095 CLOSED.
  
 1. PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING CORRECTIONS TO TREE
 DISPOSITION CHART SHEET TD-1:
 ? PROVIDE AN ARBORIST REPORT ON THE CONDITION OF THE
 LIVE OAK TREES PROPOSED TO BE REMOVED.
 ? IF CANOPY DIAMETER IS UNDER 20 FEET, THE SQUARE
 FOOTAGE IS BASED ON THE CATEGORY FOR THE TREE. TREES
 #34, 35, 36, AND 38 ARE 300 SQ FT MITIGATION DUE EACH.
 CORRECT IN THE TREE INVENTORY LIST.
 ? UMBRELLA TREE #44 IS REQUIRED TO BE REMOVED PRIOR TO
 THE FINAL LANDSCAPE INSPECTION.
 ? PROVIDE THE TOTAL SQUARE FOOTAGE OF MITIGATION DUE
 AND SHOW MITIGATION SQUARE FOOTAGE PROVIDED FROM THE
 PROPOSED TREE LIST AFTER ALL CORRECTIONS.
  
 2. PROVIDE THE REQUIRED 5 FOOT LANDSCAPE BUFFER
 PLANTINGS ALONG THE WEST PROPERTY LINE ADJACENT TO THE
 OUTDOOR COURTS SHOWING THE REQUIRED TREES OR NUMBER OF
 SUBSTITUTE PALMS PER CURRENT CODE REQUIREMENTS OF
 SECTION 94-443(B). THE EXCEPTION IN SECTION 94-305
 (B)(11) IS RELATED TO BUILDING SETBACKS OF ZERO FEET.
 IF BUILDING IS AT ZERO, THE REQUIRED LANDSCAPE BUFFER
 IS NOT POSSIBLE, BUT IF THERE IS NOT A BUILDING THE
 LANDSCAPE BUFFER IS REQUIRED.
  
 3. PROVIDE THE FOUNDATION PLANTING CALCULATIONS TO
 REFLECT THE PERCENTAGE OF EACH BUILDING FOR 30%
 REQUIRED AND PROVIDED LINEAR FOOTAGE TO MEET THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 94-443(E)(1).
  
 4. PROVIDE LOCATIONS OF LIGHTING ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN
 TO AVOID CONFLICTS WITH LANDSCAPING.
  
  
  
 5. PROVIDE THE REQUIRED TREE AND TERMINAL LANDSCAPE
 ISLAND AT THE WEST END OF THE ROW OF PARKING SOUTH SIDE
 OF THE OFFICE BUILDING IN ADDITION TO THE BUFFER TREE
 REQUIREMENT.
  
 6. SECTION 94-443(C)(3) REQUIRES THAT A MINIMUM OF 75
 PERCENT OF ALL TREES THAT ARE REQUIRED TO BE PLANTED
 WITHIN THE INTERIOR OF AN OFF STREET PARKING AREA SHALL
 BE CATEGORY 1 SHADE TREES. SHOW THE PERCENTAGE OF
 CATEGORY 1 TREES PROVIDED FOR THE REQUIRED LANDSCAPE
 AREAS. REMOVE REFERENCE 1 PER 100 SQ FT FOR CANOPY
 TREES IN THE LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS CHART, AS THIS IS
 NO LONGER IN THE CODE.
  
 7. INDICATE WHERE THE FPL TRANSFORMER WILL BE LOCATED
 FOR THE EXISTING OFFICE BUILDING.
  
 8. SHOW THE WATER AND SEWER CONNECTIONS FOR THE
 EXISTING OFFICE BUILDING TO SHOW THERE ARE NO CONFLICTS
 WITH LANDSCAPING.
  
 9. THE PLACEMENT OF THE FIRE HYDRANT IN THE LANDSCAPE
 ISLAND ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE EXISTING BISCAYNE DRIVE
 DISPLACES THE REQUIRED TREE. RELOCATE THE HYDRANT TO A
 LOCATION THAT IS NOT IN CONFLICT.
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
