 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION ON A TREE
 DISPOSITION PLAN:
 ? SATISFIED. LIST OF ALL TREES AND PALMS AND INDICATE
 IF THEY WILL REMAIN, BE REMOVED OR BE RELOCATED.
 #20 UNKNOWN MUST BE IDENTIFIED. CARROTWOOD #18 SHOULD
 BE LISTED AS PROHIBITED INVASIVE, AND NO MITIGATION
 DUE.
 ? PARTIALLY SATISFIED. TREES AND PALMS CANOPY SQUARE
 FOOTAGE TO BE MITIGATED BASED ON CATEGORY. ANY TREES 20
 FEET OR MORE CANOPY DIAMETER TO BE MITIGATED BY ACTUAL
 SQUARE FOOTAGE. 1:1 MITIGATION IS EQUAL TO THE CATEGORY
 VALUE.
 CANOPY DIAMETER MUST BE PROVIDED FOR ALL TREES FOR
 REMOVAL TO DETERMINE THE MITIGATION DUE, AND ALL PALMS
 MUST HAVE THE CATEGORY PROVIDED TO DETERMINE THE
 MITIGATION DUE. ADD A COLUMN FOR CATEGORY. FICUS TREES
 MUST BE MITIGATED.
 PROVIDE THE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF MITIGATION DUE BY
 CATEGORY FOR EACH OF THE 1:1 TREES AND PALMS. LIVE OAK
 IS CATEGORY 1 WITH 300 SQ FT MITIGATION DUE, AND SABAL
 PALMS ARE CATEGORY 3 AT 100 SQ FT EACH.
 ? SATISFIED. INCLUDE EXISTING STREET TREES TO BE
 REMOVED ON N DIXIE.
 THE STREET TREES EXISTING ALONG N DIXIE ARE NOT IN
 IDEAL CONDITION, AND DO NOT NEED TO BE RELOCATED.
 ? PARTIALLY SATISFIED. PROVIDE THE TOTAL SQUARE FOOTAGE
 OF MITIGATION REQUIRED FOR ALL TREES AND PALMS PROPOSED
 TO BE REMOVED.
 TOTAL MITIGATION DUE FOR REMOVALS WAS NOT EASY TO
 SEPARATE FROM THE REST OF THE INFORMATION IN THE CANOPY
 COLUMN. CREATE A SEPARATE COLUMN FOR MITIGATION DUE AND
 FILL IN THE SQUARE FOOTAGE FOR EACH TREE REMOVED. THEN
 PROVIDE THE TOTAL SQUARE FOOTAGE OF MITIGATION DUE AT
 THE BOTTOM OF THE COLUMN.
  
 PROVIDE THE TOTAL SQUARE OF ALL MITIGATION DUE.

 2. SATISFIED. SECTION 94-448 (D)(3) REQUIRES NATIVE
 TREES IN GOOD CONDITION TO BE PRESERVED ON SITE OR
 RELOCATED. DESCRIBE THE METHODOLOGY USED TO DETERMINE
 CONDITION. ANSI A 300 (PART 5) STANDARDS SPECIFY
 EXAMPLES OF SUITABILITY RATINGS OF GOOD, MODERATE, OR
 POOR.
 CONDITION NEEDS TO BE INDICATED FOR EACH TREE OR PALM
 PER THE SUITABILITY RATINGS ABOVE.
  
 3. SATISFIED. CALCULATIONS FOR NUMBER OF REQUIRED
 STREET TREES NEED TO BE PROVIDED. TOTAL LENGTH OF
 STREETSCAPE FROM ONE PROPERTY LINE TO THE OTHER END,
 DIVIDE BY 30, THEN INDICATE THE NUMBER OF TREES
 REQUIRED AND PROVIDED, ROUNDING UP FOR ANY PORTION
 LEFT. PROVIDE THE PROPERTY LINE LENGTH FOR THE BUFFER
 REQUIREMENT ON THE EAST SIDE NOT ADJACENT TO A STREET
 AND PROVIDE THE NUMBER OF TREES REQUIRED AND PROVIDED.
 CALCULATIONS NEED TO BE PROVIDED PER SECTION 94-113 FOR
 THE STREETSCAPE TREES.
 CALCULATIONS NEED TO BE PROVIDED FOR THE BUFFER SECTION
 ALONG THE NORTH BUILDING EAST BUFFER.
  
 4. SATISFIED. SHOW LOCATIONS OF UTILITY LINES ON
 LANDSCAPE PLAN, ALSO LOCATIONS OF VALVES AND BACKFLOW
 PREVENTERS AND FPL TRANSFORMERS. SCREENING MUST BE
 PROVIDED, AND CONFLICTS RESOLVED WITH STREET TREES.
  
 5. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. PROVIDE A MASTER PLANT LIST
 WITH TOTAL QUANTITIES OF EACH SPECIES, SIZE, ETC.
 ADD ANY RELOCATED PALMS TO THE PLANT LIST.
  
 REMOVE THE TREES AND PALMS FROM THE PLANT LIST THAT ARE
 BEING REMOVED. THIS SHOULD BE SHOWN ONLY ON SHEET
 L1-1-00.
  
 6. SATISFIED. PROVIDE THE ACTUAL PERCENTAGE OF DROUGHT
 TOLERANT AND NATIVE SPECIES ADDED BASED ON THE PROPOSED
 PLANT LIST PER SECTION 94-445 L. PLANT SPECIES. A
 MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF PLANT MATERIAL ADDED SHALL BE
 FLORIDA NATIVE OR DROUGHT TOLERANT SPECIES SELECTED
 FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE LIST OF SPECIES IN THE MOST
 RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT
 DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH FLORIDA LANDSCAPES.
  
  
 7. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. OPEN SPACE AREA SHEET NEEDS TO
 IDENTIFY THE PRIVATE OPEN SPACE TYPE AND PROVIDE THE
 CALCULATIONS FOR THE REQUIREMENTS AS FOUND IN SECTION
 94-109 TABLE IV-7 FOR VEGETATED AREA AND TREE CANOPY
 PER TABLE IV-8. THE LANDSCAPE PLAN SHOULD ALSO INCLUDE
 THE SAME INFORMATION.
 TREE CANOPY SQUARE FOOTAGE FOR THE REQUIRED PUBLIC AND
 PRIVATE OPEN SPACE FOLLOWS SECTION 94-109 TABLE VIII-4.
 PROVIDE THE LIST OF TREES THAT ARE CLAIMED FOR CREDIT.
  
 THREE PUBLIC OPEN SPACE PLAZAS MUST BE SEPARATELY SHOWN
 IN THE DATA CHART WITH THE INDIVIDUAL SQUARE FOOTAGE
 AND THE VEGETATED AREA AND TREE CANOPY FOR AREAS 1, 2,
 AND 3.
 DIVIDE UP THE GARDEN PLAZAS LIKE THE PRIVATE OPEN
 SPACE.
  
  
  
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
 2. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERMITTING AND INSTALLATION OF THE
 STREET TREES AND RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING AND
 IRRIGATION APPROVED WITH THIS PETITION.
 3. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE ROAD RIGHT OF
 WAY LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION. THIS WILL BE THROUGH A
 SEPARATE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY.
