 AUGUST 7, 2020
 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. SATISFIED. PROVIDE A TREE SURVEY AND TREE
 DISPOSITION PLAN AND LIST SHOWING ALL EXISTING TREES ON
 THE AFFECTED AREA AND EXISTING SOUTH BUFFER.
  
 2. SATISFIED. REVISE THE LANDSCAPE DATA CHART TO
 REFLECT CURRENT CODE REQUIREMENTS FOR SHADE TREES,
 FLOWERING TREES AND PALM SUBSTITUTIONS PER SECTION
 94-442(C)(2)B. CALCULATIONS ARE BASED ON 50% REQUIRED
 OPEN SPACE FOR CSPD.
  
 3. SATISFIED. INDICATE THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER LOCATIONS
 ON THE SITE PLAN AND LANDSCAPE PLAN. IF THIS PARCEL IS
 TO REMAIN SEPARATE WITHIN THE CSPD, THE BUFFER MUST
 REMAIN UNLESS A WAIVER IS REQUESTED FOR INTERNAL PARCEL
 LINE BUFFERS.
  
 4. SATISFIED. SHOW ALL CALCULATIONS FOR THE REQUIRED
 TREES FOR BUFFER SEGMENTS ON A PERIMETER BUFFER
 REQUIREMENT CHART INCLUDING LINEAR FOOTAGE OF ALL
 PROPERTY LINE SEGMENTS INCLUDING PHASE 1 AND PHASE 2.
  
 5. SATISFIED. SECTION 94-443(C)(3) REQUIRES THAT A
 MINIMUM OF 75 PERCENT OF ALL TREES THAT ARE REQUIRED TO
 BE PLANTED WITHIN THE INTERIOR OF AN OFF STREET PARKING
 AREA SHALL BE CATEGORY 1 SHADE TREES. SHOW THE
 PERCENTAGE OF CATEGORY 1 TREES PROVIDED FOR THE
 REQUIRED LANDSCAPE AREAS.
 RECOUNT ALL REQUIRED TREES IN PARKING AREA AND SHOW
 PERCENTAGE.
  
 6. SATISFIED. PROVIDE AN EXHIBIT SHOWING THE PARKING
 AREA SURFACE CALCULATIONS, PARKING SPACE AREAS AND
 LANDSCAPE AREAS PROVIDED TO DEMONSTRATE COMPLIANCE WITH
 SECTIONS 94-443 (C)(3) AND (4).
 LIST THE CALCULATIONS ON THE DATA CHART COMPLYING WITH
 CURRENT CODE REQUIREMENTS.
 CORRECT THE FOLLOWING ON SHEET 1 OF 1:
 ? IDENTIFY THE PARKING SPACES, OTHER PAVED AREAS, AND
 INTERIOR LANDSCAPE AREAS SEPARATELY ON THE EXHIBIT PER
 FIGURE XIV-1 AND SHOW SQUARE FOOTAGE TOTALS FOR EACH.
 ? REMOVE 1 TREE PER 100SQ FT REFERENCE, AS THIS IS NO
 LONGER IN THE CODE. IT IS REPLACED BY THE 75% CATEGORY
 1 TREE REQUIREMENT. REQUIRED TREES ARE AT THE END OF
 EACH ROW OF PARKING (INCLUDING PARALLEL SPACES) AND
 DIVIDER ISLANDS.
 7. SATISFIED. THERE ARE TERMINAL LANDSCAPE ISLANDS
 MISSING THE REQUIRED TREE. FIRE HYDRANTS, FDC AND OTHER
 UTILITIES CANNOT DISPLACE THE REQUIRED TREES. UTILITY
 CHANGES WITHIN THE PHASE 2 AREA CONFLICT WITH REQUIRED
 TREES.
 ROW OF PARALLEL PARKING SPACES REQUIRES A TREE ON EACH
 END OF ROW.
  
 8. SATISFIED. PROVIDE LOCATIONS OF LIGHTING ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN TO AVOID CONFLICTS WITH LANDSCAPING.
  
 9. SATISFIED. THERE APPEAR TO BE CONFLICTS IN SEVERAL
 LOCATIONS BETWEEN TREES AND WATER AND SEWER LINES ON
 THE LANDSCAPE PLAN. ADJUST LOCATIONS OF TREES OR
 UTILITY LINES TO RESOLVE CONFLICTS WITH LANDSCAPING.
 ADJUST UTILITY LINES TO ALLOW REQUIRED TREE AT END OF
 PARALLEL PARKING SPACES.
  
 10. SATISFIED. CHECK THE FLORIDA FRIENDLY DESIGN POINTS
 CHART TO CORRECT ALL LANGUAGE AND POINTS TO THE CURRENT
 CODE. TREES CANNOT BE COUNTED AS 51% IN TWO CATEGORIES.
 MULCH CREDIT IS ONLY 5 POINTS IN CURRENT CODE.
  
 11. SATISFIED. SHOW LOCATIONS OF ANY ROOT BARRIERS
 REQUIRED TO PROTECT UTILITY LINES AND PROVIDE A ROOT
 BARRIER DETAIL.
  
 12. SATISFIED. PROVIDE LOCATIONS AND SCREENING FOR ALL
 ABOVE GROUND UTILITY VALVES, BACKFLOW PREVENTERS, A/C
 UNITS, AND FPL TRANSFORMERS.
  
 13. SATISFIED. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-445 L.
 PLANT SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF PLANT
 MATERIAL ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA NATIVE OR DROUGHT
 TOLERANT SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE
 LIST OF SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH
 FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH
 FLORIDA LANDSCAPES.
 MODIFY CALCULATIONS FOR ONLY ADDED PLANTS, AND INCLUDE
 LOW WATER USE PLANTS.
  
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 5/21/20:
  
 14. SATISFIED. REVISE TREE DISPOSITION PLAN TO REFLECT
 ANY CHANGES FROM THE MINOR AMENDMENT.
  
 15. SATISFIED. SIDEWALKS SHOWN AROUND BUILDING ON
 ENGINEERING PLAN SHEET 3 OF 12 DOES NOT MATCH LANDSCAPE
 PLAN.
  
 16. SATISFIED. PROVIDE A REPORT FROM A QUALIFIED TREE
 RELOCATION CONTRACTOR REGARDING THE TRANSPLANTING
 EVALUATION OF THE TREES AND THE ROOT PRUNING LEAD TIME
 REQUIRED. THE PLAN MUST SHOW THAT THE TREES CAN BE
 RELOCATED SUCCESSFULLY TO LOCATIONS WITHIN FUTURE
 PARKING LOT CONSTRUCTION AREAS AS PROPOSED ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN.
  
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
  
 2. ALL GROUND MOUNTED EQUIPMENT AND UTILITIES SHALL BE
 SCREENED WITH LANDSCAPE HEDGE.
