 NOVEMBER 12, 2019
 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. PROVIDE A SEPARATE TREE DISPOSITION PLAN AND CHART
 FOR THE TREES WITHIN THE AFFECTED AREA AND INDICATE IF
 THEY WILL BE PRESERVED IN PLACE, RELOCATED OR REMOVED.
 LIST THE BOTANICAL NAME AND PROVIDE THE CANOPY
 DIAMETER. CALCULATE THE REQUIRED MITIGATION IN SQUARE
 FOOTAGE FOR ANY REMOVALS. REMOVE THE LAYER FROM
 LANDSCAPE PLAN. LIST ONLY TREES THAT ARE RELOCATED OR
 EXISTING ON THE PLANT LIST AND THE LANDSCAPE PLAN.
 CALCULATE AND LIST PROVIDED TREE MITIGATION.
  
 2. REQUIRED OPEN SPACE FOR CALCULATING REQUIRED SHADE
 TREES AND FLOWERING TREES IS 40%. SHOW THE SQUARE
 FOOTAGE ON THE REQUIREMENTS CHART AND RECALCULATE.
  
 3. SHOW THE TOTAL SQUARE FOOTAGE AND PERCENTAGE FOR 15%
 LANDSCAPE AREA REQUIRED FOR EACH PARCEL.
  
 4. SHOW THE PERCENTAGE AND NUMBER OF PALM SUBSTITUTIONS
 FOR REQUIRED TREES NOT EXCEEDING 35 PERCENT PER SECTION
 94-442 (D).
  
 5. PROVIDE A PLAN SHOWING THE PARKING LANDSCAPE AREAS
 COUNTED TOWARD COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-443(C)(3) AND
 (4) AND PROVIDE CALCULATIONS.
  
 6. PROVIDE CALCULATIONS FOR REQUIRED BUFFER TREES AT
 ONE FOR EVERY 30 FEET OR PORTION THEREOF FOR ALL BUFFER
 LENGTHS CORRECTLY ROUNDING UP. PARCEL 1- EAST AND SOUTH
 ARE 8 TREES REQUIRED. PARCEL 2- NORTH IS 10 TREES
 REQUIRED.
  
  
 7. PROVIDE HEDGES TO SCREEN ALL PARKING AREAS FROM
 ADJACENT PROPERTIES AND STREETS. PARCEL 1 NEEDS TO SHOW
 THIS REQUIREMENT IS MET.
  
  
 8. SHOW LINEAR FOOTAGE OF LANDSCAPED AREA ADJACENT TO
 THE BUILDING MEETS THE REQUIREMENT OF 30 PERCENT PER
 SECTION 94-443(E)(1) FOR EACH BUILDING.
  
 9. ADD COLUMNS FOR NATIVE AND DROUGHT TOLERANCE TO THE
 PLANT LIST.
  
  
 10. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-445 L. PLANT
 SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF PLANT MATERIAL
 ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA NATIVE OR DROUGHT TOLERANT
 SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE LIST OF
 SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH FLORIDA
 WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH FLORIDA
 LANDSCAPES.
 PROVIDE THE TOTAL PERCENTAGE BASED ON FINAL PLANT LIST.
  
 11. THE LOCATIONS OF DRAINAGE, WATER AND SEWER LINES ON
 THE LANDSCAPE PLAN SHOW SOME CONFLICTS WITH TREES AND
 LANDSCAPING. RELOCATE UTILITY LOCATIONS OR EXPAND
 LANDSCAPE AREAS TO ACCOMMODATE REQUIRED LANDSCAPING.
  
 12. THERE ARE MULTIPLE AREAS OF EASEMENTS THAT MAY
 RESTRICT PLANTING OF TREES. CLEARLY INDICATE AND LABEL
 ALL EASEMENTS THAT WILL REMAIN.
  
 13. SHOW LOCATIONS OF FPL TRANSFORMERS ON THE LANDSCAPE
 PLAN AND RESOLVE CONFLICTS WITH LANDSCAPING. PROVIDE
 SCREENING FOR ALL GROUND MOUNTED VALVES AND EQUIPMENT.
  
  
 14. PROVIDE A DETAIL AND LOCATIONS OF ROOT BARRIERS TO
 SEPARATE LANDSCAPING FROM UTILITY LINES.
  
  
 15. SHOW THE LOCATIONS OF ALL SITE LIGHTING ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN AND RESOLVE ANY CONFLICTS WITH TREES.
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
