 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. SATISFIED. THE APPLICANT MAY DO A COMPREHENSIVE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR THE ENTIRE SITE AND PROVIDE A
 PHASING PLAN OR PROVIDE TWO SEPARATE LANDSCAPE PLANS,
 ONE FOR EACH PHASE. ALL PLANS MUST MEET THE
 REQUIREMENTS.
  
 2. PROVIDE A TREE SURVEY AND DISPOSITION CHART OF THE
 TREES WITHIN THE AFFECTED AREA AND INDICATE IF THEY
 WILL BE PRESERVED IN PLACE, RELOCATED OR REMOVED. LIST
 THE BOTANICAL NAME AND PROVIDE THE CANOPY DIAMETER.
 CALCULATE THE REQUIRED MITIGATION IN SQUARE FOOTAGE.
 ? NOT SATISFIED. SHOW CALCULATIONS FOR CANOPY SQUARE
 FOOTAGE BASED ON DIAMETER, 1:1 SAME CATEGORY IF UNDER
 20 FEET, ACTUAL AREA 20 FEET OR MORE WITHIN THE
 DISPOSITION CHART.
 SOLITAIRE PALMS ARE 50 SQ FT EACH, FICUS TREES ARE 717
 SQ FT EACH, ARECAS 50 SQ FT EACH, #12 SAPOTE (NOT BLACK
 OLIVE) IS 314 SQ FT. IF THE 4 SABAL PALMS ARE IN GOOD
 CONDITION, THEY MUST BE RELOCATED.

 MITIGATION TO SHOW THE TOTAL MITIGATION DUE.
 TOTAL MITIGATION DUE WILL BE 2698 SQ FT WITH 4 SABALS

 ? NOT SATISFIED. SHOW THE MITIGATION PROVIDED
 CALCULATION FOR ALL TREES AND PALMS PROPOSED WITH THE

 PROVIDE THE REQUIRED 50 POINTS.
 MAKE ALL CORRECTIONS TO PLANT LIST FOR COMMENTS AND
 RECALCULATE POINTS BASED ON PLANT LIST FOR BOTH PHASES.

 LANDSCAPE AREAS COUNTED TOWARD COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION
 94-443(C)(3) AND (4) AND PROVIDE CALCULATIONS.
 CALCULATE SQUARE FOOTAGE REQUIRED PER CODES REFERENCED
 AND SHOW WHERE IT IS PROVIDED WITHIN THE PARKING AREA

 WIDTH PROVIDED ON THE EAST PROPERTY LINE.
  
 7. SATISFIED. PROVIDE THE REQUIRED BUFFER TREES WITHIN
 THE PROPERTY LINE OF THE PROJECT. TREES MAY BE PLACED
 ANYWHERE WITHIN THE AREA BETWEEN THE PROPERTY LINE AND
 BUILDING. SHRUBS MAY BE PLACED BETWEEN THE CURB AND
 SIDEWALK AS PART OF ROADWAY BEAUTIFICATION TO SEPARATE
 THE PUBLIC OPEN SPACE AREAS FROM TRAFFIC.
  
 8. SATISFIED. PROVIDE HEDGES TO SCREEN ALL PARKING
 AREAS FROM ADJACENT PROPERTIES AND STREETS.
  
  
 9. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. MULTIFAMILY REQUIREMENTS OF
 SECTION 94-443(D) SHALL APPLY FOR THE ADDITIONAL TREES
 REQUIRED AT ONE PER UNIT ADDED TO THE OVERALL SHADE
 TREE AND FLOWERING TREE REQUIREMENT. SHOW TOTAL
 REQUIRED AND PROVIDED.
 CALCULATE THE TREE (1/1500), FLOWERING TREE (1 /6000)
 AND SHRUB (1/500) COUNTS BASED ON THE OPEN SPACE SQUARE
 FOOTAGE PROVIDED FOR EACH PHASE PER SECTION 94-442(C),
 THEN ADD THE ADDITIONAL TREES PER UNIT FOR BOTH PHASES.

 AREA ADJACENT TO THE BUILDING MEETS THE REQUIREMENT OF
 40 PERCENT PER SECTION 94-443(D)(2) B.
 PROVIDE CALCULATIONS FOR BUILDING PERIMETER, REQUIRED
 AND PROVIDED LINEAR FEET OF LANDSCAPED AREA FOR
 BUILDINGS IN BOTH PHASES.

 94-445 L. PLANT SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF

 TOLERANT SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE
 LIST OF SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH
 FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH
 FLORIDA LANDSCAPES.
 PROVIDE THE TOTAL PERCENTAGE BASED ON FINAL PLANT LIST.
 PROVIDE THE PERCENTAGE AFTER ADJUSTMENTS FOR NATIVE

 12. NOT SATISFIED. SHOW LOCATIONS OF FPL TRANSFORMERS
 ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN AND RESOLVE CONFLICTS WITH
 LANDSCAPING.
 THE REASON TO FIND OUT THE LOCATION IS TO AVOID
 PLACEMENT OF THE TRANSFORMER IN LANDSCAPE ISLANDS THAT
 WOULD DISPLACE THE TREE REQUIRED BY CODE. THIS NEEDS TO
 BE CLEAR FOR THE APPROVAL OF THE SITE AND LANDSCAPE
 PLANS.
  
 13. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. PROVIDE A DETAIL AND LOCATIONS
 OF ROOT BARRIERS TO SEPARATE LANDSCAPING FROM UTILITY
 LINES.
 DRAINAGE, WATER AND SEWER LINES NEED TO BE SHOWN ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN. THERE ARE MULTIPLE CONFLICTS BETWEEN
 REQUIRED TREES AND UTILITIES. THERE NEEDS TO BE
 COORDINATION BETWEEN THE ENGINEER AND LANDSCAPE
 ARCHITECT TO CORRECT THESE CONFLICTS.
  
 14. NOT SATISFIED. PROVIDE SCREENING FOR ALL GROUND
 MOUNTED VALVES AND EQUIPMENT.
 ALL UTILITY VALVES, FIRE LINES, A/C UNITS, ETC. NEED TO
 BE SHOWN AND SCREENING HEDGES PROVIDED.
  
  
 15. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. SHOW THE LOCATIONS OF ALL SITE
 LIGHTING ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN AND RESOLVE ANY
 CONFLICTS WITH TREES.
 LIGHTING LOCATIONS ARE SHOWN ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN TO
 AVOID CONFLICTS WITH REQUIRED TREES, BUT SITE PLAN AND
 ENGINEERING PLANS SHOW THE LIGHT POLES IN LANDSCAPE
 ISLANDS IN CONFLICT WITH REQUIRED TREES.
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 3/3/20:
 16. SHORE JUNIPER AND VIBURNUM SUSPENSUM ARE NOT
 FLORIDA NATIVE PLANTS. THEY ARE NATIVE TO JAPAN.
  
 17. PHASE 1 PLAN DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENT FOR 75%
 OF THE REQUIRED PARKING LOT TREES TO BE CATEGORY 1
 TREES SUCH AS LIVE OAK TO PROVIDE SHADE FOR THE PARKING
 SPACES PER SECTION 94-443 (C)(3).
  
 18. PHASE 2 PLAN IS MISSING REQUIRED TREES IN TERMINAL
 LANDSCAPE ISLANDS, AND DOES NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENT
 FOR 75% OF THE REQUIRED PARKING LOT TREES TO BE
 CATEGORY 1 TREES SUCH AS LIVE OAK TO PROVIDE SHADE FOR
 THE PARKING SPACES.
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
