 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. THE TREE DISPOSITION PLAN SHEET L1.00 MUST BE
 COMPLETED AND CORRECTED FOR THE FOLLOWING:
 ? PROVIDE CANOPY MITIGATION SQUARE FOOTAGE REQUIRED FOR
 ALL REMOVED TREES EXCEPT INVASIVE EXOTIC SPECIES. TREES
 AND PALMS CANOPY SQUARE FOOTAGE TO BE MITIGATED BASED
 ON CATEGORY. ANY TREES 20 FEET OR MORE CANOPY DIAMETER
 TO BE MITIGATED BY ACTUAL SQUARE FOOTAGE.
 ? PROVIDE THE MITIGATION VALUES BY CATEGORY FOR THE
 PROPOSED TREES AND PALMS BASED ON THE PLANT LIST.
  
 2. PER SECTION 94-448 (D)(3), ALL NATIVE TREES AND
 PALMS IN GOOD CONDITION MUST BE PRESERVED ON SITE OR
 RELOCATED. THERE ARE MULTIPLE LIVE OAKS AND SABAL PALMS
 PROPOSED TO BE REMOVED. THE LARGEST LIVE OAK MAY BE
 ABLE TO BE USED ON SITE AS A SPECIMEN WITH SOME DESIGN
 CHANGES TO THE SITE.
  
 3. CLARIFY THE OPEN SPACE TYPES AND REQUIREMENTS TO
 CALL OUT THE TYPE OF OPEN SPACE AND THE CALCULATIONS
 FOR THE REQUIRED TYPE FOR EACH OF THE OPEN SPACE AREAS
 SUCH AS ROOFTOP GARDEN OR TERRACE. SHEET L3.00
 PARTIALLY DOES THIS BUT IS LABELED HARDSCAPE PLAN. LIST
 THE TREES PROVIDED AND PROVIDE TREE CANOPY SQUARE
 FOOTAGE PER TABLE IV-8 FOR SPACES THAT REQUIRE TREE
 CANOPY PERCENTAGES.
  
 4. PROVIDE BUFFER PLANTINGS ON THE WEST AND SOUTH SIDES
 OF THE BUILDING TO BUFFER THE PARKING GARAGE.
  
 5. CORRECT THE FOLLOWING ON THE PLANT LIST:
 ? MINIMUM SIZE FOR STREET TREES IS 20 FEET HEIGHT.
 ? CORRECT TO IDENTIFY NATIVE AND NON-NATIVE SPECIES.
 ? PROVIDE ONE COMPREHENSIVE PLANT LIST ON ONE SHEET.
  
  
 6. WALK UP GARDENS IN FRONT OF STREET UNITS MUST
 CONTAIN LANDSCAPING.
  
 7. COVERED AREAS DO NOT QUALIFY AS OPEN SPACE. AREA AT
 SOUTHEAST CORNER CANNOT BE A GARDEN PLAZA.
  
 8. STREET TREES NEED TO BE SPACED TO PROVIDE CANOPY
 OVER THE PEDESTRIAN SIDEWALKS. SPACING NEEDS TO BE
 ADJUSTED ON S OLIVE TO SPREAD THE TREES AND ADD A
 PLANTING BULB OUT BETWEEN THE PARALLEL PARKING SPACES.
  
 9. ADJUST SPACING OF STREET TREES ON TANGLEWOOD SO
 THERE IS A TREE WEST OF THE DRIVEWAY ENTRANCE.
  
 10. PER SECTION 94-113, TREE GRATES ARE ONLY USED WHEN
 THE SIDEWALK AREA IS NEEDED. PLANTING AREAS CAN BE USED
 ON ALL SIDES ADJACENT TO THE CURB. PAVER SECTIONS CAN
 BE ADDED ALONG S OLIVE AT SOME LOCATIONS TO PROVIDE
 DESIGN CONTINUITY.
  
 11. SHOW ACTUAL PERCENTAGE FOR COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION
 94-445 L. PLANT SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF
 PLANT MATERIAL ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA NATIVE OR DROUGHT
 TOLERANT SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE
 LIST OF SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH
 FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH
 FLORIDA LANDSCAPES.
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
 2. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERMITTING AND INSTALLATION OF THE
 STREET TREES AND RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING AND
 IRRIGATION APPROVED WITH THIS PETITION.
 3. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE ROAD RIGHT OF
 WAY LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION. THIS WILL BE THROUGH A
 SEPARATE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY.
