2020-02-19 09:04:00THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS ARE FROM THE REVIEW OF THE
 1/28/2020 SUBMITTAL PACKAGE:
  
 1. [REPEAT COMMENT] REVIEW THE PROPOSED GRADING OF THE
 ALLEY. IT APPEARS WATER WILL BE PREVENTED FROM DRAINING
 FROM THE PROPERTIES ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ALLEY.
 THERE IS AN EXISTING OFFSITE SPOT GRADE OF 14.10 (NEAR
 THE CROSS SECTION C-C CALLOUT). THE PROPOSED FLOW LINE
 OF THE ALLEY ADJACENT TO THE SPOT GRADE IS BETWEEN
 14.15 AND 14.85. THERE IS AN EXISTING SPOT GRADE OF
 14.05 (FURTHER TO THE EAST) AND THE PROPOSED FLOW LINE
 OF THE ALLEY IS 14.00. THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ALLEY WILL
 HAVE A VERY FLAT CROSS SLOPE AND STORMWATER RUNOFF WILL
 POOL IN THIS LOCATION, INCLUDING IN THE ADJACENT
 OFFSITE AREA.
  
 2. VERIFY THE PROPOSED FINISHED FLOOR ELEVATION OF
 15.05 FEET NAVD PROVIDED ON CROSS SECTION D-D FOR THE
 WEST PROPERTY LINE. THERE IS A PROPOSED SPOT GRADE OF
 17.65 ALONG THE WEST SDIE OF THE BUILDING.
  
 3. THE CONCRETE SIDEWALK ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF THE
 BUILDING SHALL BE CONTINUED ACROSS THE ALLEY. SHEET
 C-05 SHOWS THE SIDEWALK AREA AS MILL AND RESURFACE.
  
 4. ADD MORE PRB'S UPSTREAM OF THE EXFILTRATION TRENCHES
 TO EXTEND THEIR LIFE.
  
 5. DIMENSION THE LOW SPOT OF THE ALLEY IN SECTION C-C
 ON SHEET C-07. STAFF IS UNCLEAR IF THE NOTE ?LOW SPOT
 IS CENTER OF ALLEY? REFERS TO THE CENTER OF THE
 PROPOSED 20? ALLEY OR THE CENTER OF THE ALLEY R/W.
  
 6. IN SECTION C-C ON SHEET C-07 PROVIDE A DIMENSION FOR
 THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE ALLEY R/W LINE AND THE SOUTH
 EDGE OF PAVEMENT.
  
 7. ALTHOUGH DRAINAGE CALCULATIONS WERE NOT PROVIDED
 WITH THIS SUBMITTAL, THEY WERE SUBMITTED WITH THE
 ENGINEERING PERMIT APPLICATION PACKAGE. THE
 EXFILTRATION CALCULATIONS DID NOT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE
 FLOW RESTRICTIONS OF THE ADJACENT TRENCHES ON EACH
 OTHER.
