 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. PLEASE REVISE TREE CANOPY IMPACT PLAN SHEET LP-1 TO
 SHOW:
 ? CORRECT TREE #39 TO 491 SQ FT CANOPY
 ? ALL NATIVE TREES AND PALMS IN GOOD CONDITION MUST BE
 PRESERVED OR RELOCATED, AND NATIVE TREES #13, 43, 71,
 83, AND 99 ARE SHOWN IN GOOD CONDITION.
  
 2. SOME LANDSCAPE TERMINAL ISLANDS DO NOT MEET THE CODE
 REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 94-443(C)(3)A. FOR LANDSCAPE
 AREA WIDTH OF 8 FEET FOR THE FULL LENGTH OF THE PARKING
 SPACE. THE TERMINAL ISLANDS AND SHADE TREES ARE ALSO
 LACKING ADJACENT TO THE ELEVATOR SHAFTS. REVISE PLAN TO
 MEET REQUIREMENTS.
  
 3. PROVIDE AN EXHIBIT SHOWING THE PARKING AREA SURFACE
 CALCULATIONS, PARKING SPACE AREAS AND LANDSCAPE AREAS
 PROVIDED TO DEMONSTRATE COMPLIANCE WITH SECTIONS 94-443
 (C)(3) AND (4).
  
 4. TREES MUST BE ADDED TO PROVIDE SHADE FOR THE
 SIDEWALK IN THE AREA OF STREET PARKING ALONG ALPHA
 STREET. THE UTILITIES SHOULD BE RELOCATED TO ALLOW
 PLANTING AT EACH END OF THE SPACES, AND LARGER SHADE
 TREES ADDED WITHIN THE PROPERTY LINE IN THE CENTER TO
 PROVIDE SHADE.
  
  
 5. SHOW THE ADDITIONAL 51 TREES REQUIRED, ONE FOR EACH
 UNIT PER SECTION 94-443(D), IN THE LANDSCAPE DATA
 CHART. ADD TO THE TOTAL SHADE TREE AND FLOWERING TREE
 REQUIREMENT FOR OPEN SPACE TO SHOW THE TOTAL TREE
 REQUIREMENT. BUFFER AND PARKING LOT TREES ARE COUNTED
 TOWARD SATISFYING THIS REQUIREMENT.
  
 6. PROVIDE LOCATIONS OF LIGHTING ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN
 TO AVOID CONFLICTS WITH LANDSCAPING.
  
 7. SHOW EACH BUFFER SEGMENT IN THE BUFFER CALCULATIONS
 TO SHOW REQUIRED AND PROVIDED BUFFER TREE COUNTS.
  
 8. SHOW PROOF OF PROVIDING THE EFFICIENT IRRIGATION OR
 MOISTURE SENSOR AS CLAIMED ON THE FLORIDA FRIENDLY
 DESIGN OPTION CHART.
  
  
 9. PROVIDE ROOT BARRIER LOCATIONS WHERE NEEDED TO
 PROTECT UTILITIES.
  
 10. ADD TREES AND PALMS TO REMAIN OR BE RELOCATED ON
 SITE TO THE PLANT LIST.
  
 11. ADJUST THE SHRUB NATIVE PERCENTAGE TO MATCH THE
 SHRUB LIST.
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
  
 2. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERMITTING AND INSTALLATION OF THE
 RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION APPROVED WITH
 THIS PETITION.
  
 3. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE ROAD RIGHT OF
 WAY LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION AS PERMITTED AND
 INSTALLED. THIS WILL BE THROUGH A SEPARATE MAINTENANCE
 AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY.
