 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
  
 1. NOT SATISFIED. SHOW THE REQUIRED OPEN SPACE OF 40
 PERCENT OF THE AFFECTED AREA OF THE SITE, AND CALCULATE
 REQUIRED TREES AND FLOWERING TREES TO CURRENT CODE OF 1
 TREE PER 1500 SQ FT OF REQUIRED OPEN SPACE OR PORTION
 THEREOF, AND FLOWERING TREES TO ONE PER 6000 SQ FT OR
 PORTION THEREOF PER SECTION 94-442(C)(2) B.
 40% OF AFFECTED AREA IS 24433 SQ FT. RECALCULATE
 REQUIRED TREES, FLOWERING TREES, AND SHRUBS.
  
 2. SATISFIED. LIGUSTRUM AND EUROPEAN FAN PALM DO NOT
 MEET CITY POLICY TO CHOOSE A FLORIDA NATIVE SPECIES
 WHEN POSSIBLE. CHANGE TO A NATIVE SPECIES.
  
 3. SATISFIED. SHOW AND LABEL THE REQUIRED 5 FOOT
 LANDSCAPE BUFFER ON THE WEST AND SOUTH ADJACENT TO THE
 PROPERTY LINES ON THE SITE AND LANDSCAPE PLANS. PROVIDE
 THE BUFFER REQUIREMENTS AND CALCULATIONS ON THE PLAN.
 ONE TREE PER 30 LF OR PORTION THEREOF IS REQUIRED.
 LARGER TREE SPECIES MUST BE USED WHERE POSSIBLE TO
 PROVIDE BUFFERING TO ADJACENT PROPERTIES AND PROVIDE
 SHADE FOR PARKING AREAS.
  
 4. NOT SATISFIED. ADD A COLUMN FOR DROUGHT TOLERANCE TO
 THE PLANT LIST AND PROVIDE THE LEVEL FOR EACH SPECIES.
  
 5. NOT SATISFIED. PROVIDE THE PERVIOUS LANDSCAPE AREA
 SQUARE FOOTAGE ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR THE AFFECTED
 AREA.
  
 6. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. PROVIDE FLORIDA FRIENDLY
 LANDSCAPE POINTS TO SHOW CURRENT APPLICABLE CODE
 REQUIRES 50 POINTS PER SECTION 94-442(G) WITHOUT DOUBLE
 COUNTING PLANTS IN THE SAME CATEGORY.
 CORRECT MULCH POINTS TO 5 PER CURRENT CODE.

 PLANT SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF PLANT
 MATERIAL ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA NATIVE OR DROUGHT
 TOLERANT SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE
 LIST OF SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH
 FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH
 FLORIDA LANDSCAPES.
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 6/12/19:
 11. THE TREE DISPOSITION LIST MUST BE COMPLETED AND
 CORRECTED FOR THE FOLLOWING:
 ? PROVIDE CANOPY MITIGATION SQUARE FOOTAGE REQUIRED FOR
 ALL REMOVED TREES EXCEPT INVASIVE EXOTIC SPECIES. TREES
 AND PALMS CANOPY SQUARE FOOTAGE TO BE MITIGATED BASED
 ON CATEGORY. ANY TREES 20 FEET OR MORE CANOPY DIAMETER
 TO BE MITIGATED BY ACTUAL SQUARE FOOTAGE.
 ? IDENTIFY SPECIES LISTED AS UNKNOWN. IDENTIFY PALM
 SPECIES.
 ? PROVIDE THE MITIGATION VALUES BY CATEGORY FOR THE
 PROPOSED TREES AND PALMS.
 12. STAFF HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT THERE MAY BE PROTECTED
 SPECIES WITHIN THE DESIGNATED AREA OF DEVELOPMENT.
 STAFF WILL FOLLOW UP TO SEE IF ANY FURTHER
 ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT IS REQUIRED.
  
 13. SHOW THE CLEARING AREA FOR THE SEWAGE LINE ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN AS IT RUNS NORTH ACROSS THE REST OF THE
 PROPERTY AND ADD ANY TREES TO THE DISPOSITION THAT HAVE

 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
