 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
  
 1. CORRECT THE TREE DISPOSITION PLAN AND LIST FOR THE
 FOLLOWING:
 ? ALL TREES BELOW 20 FOOT CANOPY AND PALMS ARE TO BE
 MITIGATED ONE FOR ONE AND THE CANOPY VALUE NEEDS TO BE
 CORRECTED TO THE CATEGORY VALUE. I.E. CATEGORY 1, IS A
 300 SQ FT CANOPY VALUE, CATEGORY 2 IS A 150 SQ FT
 CANOPY VALUE. VEITCHI PALM CATEGORY 3 IS A 100 SQ FT
 CANOPY VALUE. CORRECT VALUE TOTAL.
 ? CHANGE NOTE TO REFERENCE CORRECT CODE LANGUAGE- TREES
 THAT ARE 20 FEET OR MORE IN CANOPY SIZE SHALL BE
 MITIGATED BASED ON CANOPY SIZE.
 ? INCLUDE A COLUMN ON THE TREE DISPOSITION LIST FOR
 CATEGORY.
 ? PROVIDE A LIST OF CANOPY CREDIT FOR THE TREES TO BE
 INSTALLED AS SHOWN ON THE PROPOSED LANDSCAPE PLAN.
  
 2. SECTION 94-448 (D)(3) REQUIRES NATIVE TREES IN GOOD
 CONDITION TO BE PRESERVED ON SITE OR RELOCATED. THERE
 IS 1 LIVE OAK, 12 SABAL PALMS AND 1DAHOON HOLLY THAT
 CAN BE PRESERVED OR RELOCATED ON SITE TO AREAS WITHOUT
 TREES. THIS LARGE LIVE OAK TREE IS NOT WITHIN THE
 LIMITS OF DEMOLITION OR CONSTRUCTION AND CAN BE
 PRESERVED BY DESIGNING THE PROPOSED SIDEWALK LAYOUT TO
 AVOID IT.
 3. THE GREEN BUTTONWOOD TREES PLACED CLOSE TO THE
 BUILDING MAY BE A MAINTENANCE ISSUE IN THE FUTURE, IF
 MOVED OUT AWAY FROM THE BUILDING, THE TREE CANOPY CAN
 REACH FULL POTENTIAL.
  
 4. PROVIDE THE AMOUNT OF OPEN SPACE AND LANDSCAPE AREA
 ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR THE AFFECTED AREA AND SHOW
 THE CHANGE FROM EXISTING CONDITION.
  
 5. PROVIDE THE NUMBER OF TREES PROPOSED COMPARED TO THE
 NUMBER OF TREES FROM THE APPROVED LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR
 THE AFFECTED AREA.
 6. PROVIDE LOCATIONS AND SCREENING FOR ALL ABOVE GROUND
 UTILITY VALVES, BACKFLOW PREVENTERS, A/C UNITS, ETC.
  
 7. SHOW LOCATIONS OF WATER AND SEWER LINES ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN AND RESOLVE CONFLICTS WITH LANDSCAPING.
 SHOW LOCATIONS OF ANY ROOT BARRIERS REQUIRED TO PROTECT
 UTILITY LINES AND LABEL THEM ON THE PLAN.
  
 8. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-445 L. PLANT
 SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF PLANT MATERIAL
 ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA NATIVE OR DROUGHT TOLERANT
 SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE LIST OF
 SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH FLORIDA
 WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH FLORIDA
 LANDSCAPES.
  
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
