 DECEMBER 20, 2019
 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. SATISFIED. DUE TO THE NUMBER OF CHANGES TO THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN, ALL AREAS CHANGED FROM THE APPROVED
 PLANS MUST BE CLOUDED. STAFF WILL ACCEPT AN INTERIM
 SUBMITTAL FOR THESE PLANS IN ORDER TO PERFORM A
 COMPLETE REVIEW IN A TIMELY MANNER.
 CHANGES TO THE PARKING AND TERMINAL LANDSCAPE ISLANDS
 ADJACENT TO THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE POOL AND CLUBHOUSE
 WERE NOT CLOUDED OR ADDRESSED, AND DO NOT MEET CODE
 21REQUIREMENTS. THERE ARE MULTIPLE CHANGES FROM THE
 PLANS APPROVED WITH RESOLUTION NO. 227-18, DATED
 5/11/18.
  
 2. SATISFIED. CORRECT THE SHEET REFERENCES ON THE MATCH
 LINES TO CORRESPOND TO THE APPROVED PLANS AND CURRENT
 PLAN SET.
  
 3. SATISFIED. INDICATE THE TREES COUNTED TOWARD THE 42
 INDICATED ON SHEET LP-6 FOR THE EAST BUFFER ON SHEET
 LP-4 AND LP-5.
 4. SATISFIED. INDICATE THE TREES COUNTED TOWARD THE 41
 INDICATED ON SHEET LP-6 FOR THE WEST BUFFER ON SHEETS
 LP-2 AND LP-3.
 5. SATISFIED. INDICATE THE TREES COUNTED TOWARD THE 21
 INDICATED ON SHEET LP-6 FOR THE SOUTH BUFFER ON SHEETS
 LP-2 AND LP-4.
  
 6. SATISFIED. THE TOTAL NUMBER OF TREES PROVIDED
 APPEARS TO HAVE CHANGED. ADDRESS THE CHANGED COUNTS ON
 SHEET LP-6 IN THE LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENT CHART.
  
 7. SATISFIED. PROVIDE THE REQUIRED TREE (OR EQUIVALENT
 PALMS) AND TERMINAL LANDSCAPE ISLANDS FOR ALL THE ROWS
 OF PARKING AS SHOWN ON THE APPROVED PLANS. TREES HAVE
 BEEN REMOVED FROM THE PLAN, AND THESE AREAS NO LONGER
 MEET THE CODE REQUIREMENT. MANY EXAMPLES APPEAR TO HAVE
 FPL TRANSFORMERS DISPLACING THE APPROVED TREE. SOME
 ISLANDS HAVE REDUCED THE NUMBER OF PALMS FROM 3 TO 2.
 PLEASE EXPLAIN AND REVISE.
 THERE ARE STILL TERMINAL ISLANDS THAT DO NOT MEET THE
 CODE REQUIREMENT. CHANGES TO THE BUILDING AFFECTING
 TERMINAL LANDSCAPE ISLANDS ADJACENT TO THE SOUTH SIDE
 OF THE POOL AND CLUBHOUSE WERE NOT CLOUDED OR
 ADDRESSED, AND DO NOT MEET CODE REQUIREMENTS OR THE
 APPROVED PLAN.
  
  
 8. SATISFIED. SHOW LOCATIONS OF ROOT BARRIERS TO
 PROTECT INFRASTRUCTURE AND TREES FROM CONFLICTS. THIS
 INCLUDES WATER, SEWER, DRAINAGE, SIDEWALKS AND CURBS,
 AND ANY FIELD STRUCTURES THAT COULD BE IMPACTED BY TREE
 ROOTS. IF A SEPARATE SHEET IS NEEDED, PLEASE PROVIDE IT
 AT THIS TIME FOR REVIEW.
  
 9. SATISFIED. PROVIDE SCREENING FOR ALL GROUND MOUNTED
 EQUIPMENT AND UTILITIES.
 SOME VALVES AND TRANSFORMERS ARE NOT SCREENED ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN. PLEASE REVISE.
 ALL GROUND MOUNTED EQUIPMENT WILL BE REQUIRED TO HAVE
 SCREENING AT THE TIME OF FINAL INSPECTION. STAFF IS
 AWARE OF FPL REQUIREMENTS, AND MANY AREAS AS SHOWN ON
 THE PLAN CAN ACCOMMODATE A SCREENING HEDGE.
  
 10. SATISFIED. IN REVIEWING THE REVISED TREE
 DISPOSITION CHART, THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS NEED TO BE
 ADDRESSED:
 ? CANOPY MEASUREMENT ON DISPOSITION LIST IN FEET
 APPEARS TO BE RADIUS, NOT DIAMETER. PLEASE CORRECT.
 ? AREA OF CANOPY COVERAGE IS CALCULATED AS PI TIMES
 RADIUS SQUARED. PLEASE CORRECT.
 ? TOTAL ALL CANOPY CALCULATIONS FOR TREES AND PALMS
 REMOVED BY CATEGORY FOR 1:1 AND SQUARE FOOTAGE FOR ALL
 20 FEET AND ABOVE DIAMETER.
 ? PROVIDE A TOTAL BY CATEGORY FOR ALL NEW TREES
 PROPOSED. CATEGORY 1 =300 SQ FT, CATEGORY 2 =150 SQ FT,
 CATEGORY 3= 100 SQ FT, CATEGORY 4 = 50 SQ FT.
  
 11. SATISFIED. THE TOTAL TREES PROVIDED HAS DROPPED
 FROM 445 ON THE APPROVED PLANS TO 437. EXPLAIN THE
 CHANGE.
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
  
 1. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERMITTING AND INSTALLATION OF THE
 STREET TREES, TREE GRATES, RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING AND
 IRRIGATION APPROVED WITH THIS PETITION.
  
 2. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE ROAD RIGHT OF
 WAY LANDSCAPING, TREE GRATES AND IRRIGATION ADJACENT TO
 THE PROPERTY. THIS WILL BE THROUGH A SEPARATE
 MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY.
