 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
  
 1. CORRECT THE TREE DISPOSITION PLAN AND LIST FOR THE
 FOLLOWING:
 ? SATISFIED. ALL TREES BELOW 20 FOOT CANOPY ARE TO BE
 MITIGATED ONE FOR ONE AND THE CANOPY VALUE NEEDS TO BE
 CORRECTED TO THE CATEGORY VALUE. I.E. LIVE OAK CATEGORY
 1, IS A 300 SQ FT CANOPY VALUE. BOTTLEBRUSH CATEGORY 2
 IS A 150 SQ FT CANOPY VALUE. SABAL PALM CATEGORY 3 IS A
 100 SQ FT CANOPY VALUE. CORRECT VALUE AS SHOWN IS
 16,395 SQ FT.
 TREE CANOPY DIAMETER AND CANOPY VALUES MUST BE SHOWN
 FOR EACH TREE TO BE REMOVED.
 ? SATISFIED. TREES REMAINING WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION
 LIMITS NEED TO BE SHOWN AS REQUIRING ROOT PROTECTION.
  
 2. SATISFIED. SECTION 94-448 (D)(3) REQUIRES NATIVE
 TREES IN GOOD CONDITION TO BE PRESERVED ON SITE OR
 RELOCATED. THERE ARE MULTIPLE LIVE OAKS THAT CAN BE
 RELOCATED ON SITE TO AREAS WITHOUT TREES. THERE ARE
 LARGE TREES WITHIN THE LIMITS OF CONSTRUCTION THAT CAN
 BE PRESERVED BY DESIGNING THE PROPOSED SIDEWALK LAYOUT
 TO AVOID THEM.
 LIVE OAK TREES 311, 314 AND 315 CAN BE PRESERVED IF THE
 SIDEWALK CAN BE REDESIGNED, AND IF NOT, SINCE THEIR
 CONDITION IS LISTED AS ?GOOD? ON THE TREE DISPOSITION
 LIST, THEY MUST BE RELOCATED.
 LIVE OAK TREES 363, 386, 387, 390, 391, 392, 393, 395,
 396, AND SABAL PALM 394 ARE REQUIRED TO BE RELOCATED AS
 THEIR CONDITION IS LISTED AS ?GOOD? ON THE TREE
 DISPOSITION LIST.
  
 3. SATISFIED. PROVIDE THE AMOUNT OF OPEN SPACE AND
 LANDSCAPE AREA ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR THE AFFECTED
 AREA AND SHOW THE CHANGE FROM APPROVED PLAN.
 THE CALCULATIONS AS SHOWN ARE NOT CLEAR, AND DO NOT ADD
 UP.
 THE CALCULATIONS NEED TO BE SHOWN FOR THE ENTIRE SITE,
 AS ADDITIONAL AREA IS BEING ADDED TO THE PD. THE
 REQUIRED OPEN SPACE FOR CS IS 40%. OPEN SPACE IS ALL
 NON-BUILDING AREA. LANDSCAPE AREA SHOULD BE EQUAL OR
 GREATER THAN 15%.
  
 4. SATISFIED. PROVIDE THE NUMBER OF TREES PROPOSED
 COMPARED TO THE NUMBER OF TREES FROM THE APPROVED
 LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR THE AFFECTED AREA.
  
 5. SATISFIED. PROVIDE A CORRECTED CHART SHOWING CURRENT
 CODE FOR COMPLIANCE WITH FLORIDA FRIENDLY REQUIREMENTS
 PER SECTION 94-442 (G) AND PROVIDE THE REQUIRED 50
 POINTS.
  
 6. SATISFIED. ADD COLUMNS TO THE PLANT LIST FOR NATIVE
 PLANT AND DROUGHT TOLERANCE.
  
 7. SATISFIED. SHOW ALL EXISTING TREES TO REMAIN WITH
 IDENTIFYING TAGS ON THE PLAN AND INCLUDE ON THE PLANT
 LIST.
  
  
 8. SATISFIED. PROVIDE LOCATIONS OF LIGHTING ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN TO AVOID CONFLICTS WITH LANDSCAPING.
  
 9. SATISFIED. PROVIDE LOCATIONS AND SCREENING FOR ALL
 ABOVE GROUND UTILITY VALVES, BACKFLOW PREVENTERS, A/C
 UNITS, ETC.
  
 10. SATISFIED. SHOW LOCATIONS OF WATER AND SEWER LINES
 ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN AND RESOLVE CONFLICTS WITH
 LANDSCAPING. SHOW LOCATIONS OF ANY ROOT BARRIERS
 REQUIRED TO PROTECT UTILITY LINES AND LABEL THEM ON THE
 PLAN.
  
 11. SATISFIED. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-445 L.
 PLANT SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF PLANT
 MATERIAL ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA NATIVE OR DROUGHT
 TOLERANT SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE
 LIST OF SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH
 FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH
 FLORIDA LANDSCAPES.
 SHOW THE CALCULATION OF THE PERCENTAGE ON THE LANDSCAPE
 PLAN BASED ON THE PROPOSED PLANT LIST.
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 2/19/19:
 12. SATISFIED. SHEET L006 DOES NOT REPRESENT ANY
 MISSING TREES FROM THE APPROVED PLANS BEING REPLACED AT
 SOME OF THE TERMINAL ISLANDS AND THE LANDSCAPE BUFFERS
 ALONG THE PROPERTY LINES. ALL TREES AS APPROVED NEED TO
 BE SHOWN AS BEING REPLACED.
  
 13. SATISFIED. THE WAX MYRTLE AS SPECIFIED ARE NOT A
 SUCCESSFUL SPECIES WHEN USED IN PARKING LOT ISLANDS.
 CHANGE TO A MORE DEPENDABLE AND SUSTAINABLE SPECIES.
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 4/22/19:
 14. SATISFIED. TWO NEW TERMINAL ISLANDS AND ONE
 INTERIOR ISLAND IN THE PARKING AREA SOUTH OF THE NEW
 BUILDING ON SHEET L102 DO NOT SHOW THE REQUIRED TREE.
 THESE ARE NEW LANDSCAPE AREAS AND ARE REQUIRED TO MEET
 CODE.
 TERMINAL LANDSCAPE ISLANDS REQUIRE A TREE. THESE ARE
 NEWLY CONSTRUCTED PARKING FEATURES AND MUST MEET THE
 CODE REQUIREMENT.
  
  
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
