 DECEMBER 20, 2018
 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. SATISFIED. THE PROPOSED LOCATION OF THE NEW BUILDING
 AND REMOVAL OF THE 10 MATURE LIVE OAK TREES IN THE
 LANDSCAPE BUFFER TO BE REPLACED WITH SMALL TREES DOES
 NOT MEET THE INTENT OF THE LANDSCAPE CODE FOR THE CITY,
 AND MAY NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS AND INTENT OF THE
 LANDSCAPE DESIGN GUIDELINES WITHIN THE COVENANTS FOR
 THE METROCENTRE CPD. THE MATURE TREES PROVIDE BUFFERING
 FROM I-95, AND THE COVENANTS REQUIRE LANDSCAPE AND
 TREES TO BREAKUP LARGE EXPANSES OF BUILDING WALLS BEING
 VIEWED FROM THE OUTSIDE OF THE CPD. THE PROPOSED
 CHANGES WILL HAVE TO BE APPROVED BY THE POA.
  
 2. SATISFIED. PROVIDE THE TOTAL TREE CANOPY CREDITS
 PROVIDED WITH THE PROPOSED LANDSCAPE PLAN ON THE TREE
 DISPOSITION PLAN, AS THE QUANTITY SHOWN IS BELOW THE
 MITIGATION REQUIRED.
  
 3. NOT SATISFIED. THE OPEN SPACE CALCULATION FOR THE
 REQUIRED TREES AND FLOWERING TREES IS 40% PER THE CODE,
 69,643 SQ FT. CORRECT ON PLANS AND RECALCULATE REQUIRED
 TREES.
 ADJUST THE OPEN SPACE FOR REQUIRED 40% ON CHART, AND
 RECALCULATE TREES AND SHRUBS REQUIRED.
  
 4. SATISFIED. THE PLAN SHOWING THE PARKING LANDSCAPE
 AREAS COUNTED TOWARD COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION
 94-443(C)(3) AND (4) NEEDS TO BE REVISED TO SHOW ONLY
 THE AREAS WITHIN THE PARKING FIELD, AND THE TOTAL SHOWN
 TO MEET THE TOTALS OF BOTH SECTIONS ADDED TOGETHER.

 5. SATISFIED. SHOW THAT THE REQUIRED PARKING LOT TREES
 MEET THE 75% CATEGORY ONE SHADE TREE REQUIREMENT.
 REQUIRED TREES INCLUDE ALL TERMINAL ISLAND AND ISLANDS
 ADJACENT TO PARKING SPACES.
  
 6. SATISFIED. CORRECT THE REQUIRED BUFFER TREE
 CALCULATIONS TO 22 FOR THE EAST, AND 3 FOR THE WEST.
  
 7. SATISFIED. APPROVED PLAN SHOWS BUFFER TREE LOCATIONS
 AND QUANTITIES. PROVIDE A COMPARISON TO SHOW THE
 QUANTITY OF TREES FOR THE PROPOSED PLAN AND THE
 APPROVED PLAN.
  
 8. SATISFIED. SHOW ALL PARKING SPACE ROW COUNTS ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN.
  
  
 9. SATISFIED. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE BUILDING
 PERIMETER LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENT OF 30% FOR COMMERCIAL
 USE FOR BOTH BUILDINGS.
  
 10. SATISFIED. PLEASE CORRECT THE FLORIDA FRIENDLY
 LANDSCAPE CHART SO THAT TREES AND SHRUBS ARE NOT
 COUNTED TWICE FOR EACH CATEGORY OF NATIVE AND DROUGHT
 TOLERANT.
  
 11. SATISFIED. CORRECT THE REQUIRED TREE CALCULATIONS
 TO CURRENT CODE OF 1500 SQ FT FOR SHADE TREES, AND 6000
 SQ FT FOR FLOWERING TREE.
  
  
 12. SATISFIED. SHOW THE LOCATIONS OF WATER AND SEWER
 LINES ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN AND CORRECT CONFLICTS WITH
 TREES AND LANDSCAPING. RELOCATE UTILITY LOCATIONS OR
 EXPAND LANDSCAPE AREAS TO ACCOMMODATE REQUIRED
 LANDSCAPING.
 13. SATISFIED. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-445 L.
 PLANT SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF PLANT
 MATERIAL ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA NATIVE OR DROUGHT
 TOLERANT SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE
 LIST OF SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH
 FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH
 FLORIDA LANDSCAPES.
  
 14. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE SCREENING FOR ALL ABOVE
 GROUND UTILITY VALVES AND BACKFLOWS PREVENTERS.
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
