 1. PROVIDE TPS LETTER FROM PALM BEACH COUNTY
 2. THE JUSTIFICATION NARRATIVE INDICATES THAT THE
 MASTER PLAN HAS SEVERAL OTHER CHANGES IN ADDITION TO
 THE RESIDENCE HALL, BUT IT WASN?T CLEAR WHERE THESE
 CHANGES ARE. PLEASE INDICATE THE CHANGES ON THE MASTER
 PLAN.
 3. SINCE THE PEDESTRIAN PATHWAYS WILL BE SHARED BETWEEN
 PEDESTRIANS AND BICYCLES, PROVIDE PEDESTRIAN PATHWAYS
 WITH A MINIMUM WIDTH OF 8 FEET, 12 FEET PREFERRED,
 SURROUNDING THE PROPOSED RESIDENCE HALL, INCLUDING THE
 EXISTING PATHWAY AT THE BACK OF THE RESIDENCE HALL.
 4. PROVIDE A ?KEEP RIGHT? SIGN (R4-7 OR R4-7B) AT THE
 SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE CENTER ISLAND FACING WESTBOUND
 VEHICLES.
 5. USE RAISED ISLAND INSTEAD OF STRIPING AT THE
 SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE CENTER ISLAND, AND USE
 MOUNTABLE CURB AS NEEDED TO ACCOMMODATE TRUCK MOVEMENTS
 AT THAT CORNER.
 6. THE DIAGONAL MARKINGS FOR THE FIRE LANE SHOULD BE
 SLANTED AWAY FROM THE CURB.
 7. CONSIDER PROVIDING PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE
 CONNECTIONS TO VILLAGE BOULEVARD AT THE NORTH AND SOUTH
 END OF THE CAMPUS. AT THE NORTH END, CONSIDER PROVIDING
 A PEDESTRIAN/BICYCLE BRIDGE ACROSS THE CANAL, AND
 SIDEWALK CONNECTION TO THE EXISTING SIDEWALK ON VILLAGE
 BOULEVARD. AT THE SOUTH END, IN ADDITION TO THE
 EXISTING PEDESTRIAN ACCESS POINT, CONSIDER PROVIDING A
 SEPARATE BICYCLE PATH THROUGH THE FPL EASEMENT AND
 PROPERTY TO CONNECT TO THE EXISTING PATHWAY AROUND THE
 LAKE TO THE EAST. THESE CONNECTIONS COULD POTENTIALLY
 REDUCE THE CYCLING DISTANCE BETWEEN VILLAGE BOULEVARD
 AND THE CAMPUS FROM OVER 8,800 FEET AND WALKING
 DISTANCE FROM OVER 2,500 FEET TO LESS THAN 750 FEET, AS
 WELL AS ELIMINATING THE EXPOSURE OF HIGH SPEED VEHICLES
 TO STUDENTS ON BICYCLES.
