 (11) PAPER COPIES AND AN ELECTRONIC COPY IN .PNG FORMAT
 OF ALL PLANS. PLEASE NOTE THAT CHANGES ON THE
 RESUBMITTED PLANS OR THE SUBMITTAL OF INFORMATION/PLANS
 TO ADDRESS THE COMMENTS MAY RESULT IN ADDITIONAL
 COMMENTS.
  
 - THE COMMENTS SHALL BE SUFFICIENTLY ADDRESSED AND
 SUBMITTED TO THE PLANNING DIVISION BY 5 PM ON MONDAY,
 NOVEMBER 5, 2018, TO BE ELIGIBLE TO BE SCHEDULED FOR
 THE NOVEMBER 28, 2018 PLANNING BOARD MEETING.
  
 PRIOR TO PB:
  
 1) REPEAT COMMENT: THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS TO ACACIA
 ROAD NEED TO MEET THE ENGINEERING SERVICES DIVISION
 REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO SCHEDULING THE CASE BEFORE THE
 PLANNING BOARD.
  
 A. THE CITY SURVEYOR HAS PROVIDED COMMENTS THAT THE FPL
 TRANSFORMERS MAY NOT BE LOCATED WITHIN ACACIA ROAD
 SINCE THEY WILL INTERFERE WITH THE UTILITIES LOCATED
 WITHIN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY. THE APPLICANT RESPONSE WAS
 THAT THIS IS ?ACKNOWLEDGED?. THE FPL TRANSFORMERS NEED
 TO BE SHOWN OUT OF ACACIA COURT AND AT THEIR FINAL
 LOCATION. ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO THE SITE, LANDSCAPE AND
 CIVIL PLANS BASED ON THE NEW FPL TRANSFORMER LOCATIONS
 NEED TO BE COMPLETED SO THAT STAFF CAN VERIFY THAT ALL
 CODE REQUIREMENTS ARE STILL MET.
 B. PROVIDE THE SIZE REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH TRANSFORMER
 PAD AS WELL AS THE DIMENSIONS, INCLUDING HEIGHT OF THE
 TRANSFORMERS. THE E-MAIL THAT WAS PROVIDED FROM BRENNA
 HOLLAWAY AT FPL INDICATES THAT A 7 FOOT BY 7 FOOT AREA
 REQUIRED FOR THE PAD, WITH ADDITIONAL CLEARANCE ON EACH
 SIDE. THIS DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE ACCURATELY REFLECTED
 ON THE SITE PLAN AS THE TRANSFORMERS LOOK TOO SMALL.
 THE APPLICATION IS USING THE IMPROVEMENT OF ACACIA
 COURT AS A PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY AS PART OF THE INNOVATIVE
 PLANNING TO JUSTIFY THE WAIVER REQUESTS. THE
 INSTALLATION OF LARGE, UNSCREENED TRANSFORMER BOXES
 BLOCKING A SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY IS
 NOT ACCEPTABLE. PLEASE NOTE THAT A REVIEW OF THE FPL
 TRANSFORMER PLACEMENT REQUIREMENTS LIST SETBACKS FROM
 LANDSCAPE AND SETBACKS FROM RESIDENTIAL WINDOWS. THE
 PLACEMENT OF THE TRANSFORMERS IMMEDIATELY ADJACENT TO
 THE PROPERTY LINE OF 1301 SOUTH FLAGLER WOULD PROHIBIT
 THAT PROPERTY FROM REDEVELOPING IN CODE COMPLIANCE
 SINCE THE TRANSFORMER SETBACK PROHIBITS THE
 INSTALLATION OF THE CODE REQUIRED LANDSCAPE BUFFER. THE
 FPL REQUIREMENTS ALSO LIST A 15 FOOT SETBACK TO
 WINDOWS, WHICH THE PLACEMENT OF THESE TRANSFORMERS DO
 NOT SEEM TO COMPLY WITH.
 C. PROVIDE THE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE SWITCH BOXES
 SHOWN ON THE PLANS, TO INCLUDE HEIGHT.
  
 2) THE PLANTER BOXES ON ACACIA AVENUE NEED TO HAVE
 MULTIPLE TRUNK PALMS TO ACHIEVE THE DESIRED EFFECT OF
 CREATING AN ENHANCED PEDESTRIAN AREA THAT CAN BE USED
 INNOVATIVE DESIGN FOR THE RPD REQUEST.
  
 3) PROVIDE DETAILS FOR THE PLANTER BOXES PROPOSED FOR
 ACACIA ROAD.
  
 A. HOW ARE THEY AFFIXED TO THE GROUND? IF NOT AFFIXED,
 HOW ARE THEY MOVED IN THE EVENT THAT CITY MAINTENANCE
 IS REQUIRED? NOTE: THIS WOULD BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF
 THE HOA.
 B. HOW ARE THEY IRRIGATED? WHERE WILL THE IRRIGATION
 LINES BE INSTALLED? NOTE: THIS WOULD BE THE
 RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HOA.
 C. HOW ARE THE PLANTERS DRAINED?
  
 4) RENDERINGS OF THE PATH ARE NOT ACCURATE.
  
 A. THE CONTAINER MATERIAL AND SIZE.
 B. THE PLANTS SHOWN BOTH TREES AND PALMS.
 C. THE LANDSCAPE PLAN NEEDS TO BE MARKED TO SHOW TAGS
 WHERE THE RENDERINGS ARE TAKEN FROM.
  
 5) PROVIDE DETAILS ON WHAT THE GARAGE SUPPLY AND
 RETURNS LOOK LIKE ABOVE GRADE, TO INCLUDE THE HEIGHT.
  
 6) WHAT DOES THE PRIVACY FENCE ON SOUTH PROPERTY LINE
 LOOK LIKE?
  
 PRIOR TO CC CONDITIONS:
  
 7) CONTINUE THE WIDENED SIDEWALK THE FULL LENGTH OF THE
 PROPERTY FRONTAGE AND ALONG THE ARCACIA ROAD AND
 FLAGLER DRIVE INTERSECTION FRONTAGE.
  
 8) THE WALL AND FENCE AROUND THE GENERATOR SERVICE YARD
 ARE SHOWN AT A HEIGHT OF SEVEN (7) FEET (SHEET L9.01).
 THE PERMITTED HEIGHT WITHIN THE FRONT SETBACK ALONG
 CURRIE CRESCENT IS FOUR (4) FEET. STAFF IS WILLING TO
 SUPPORT A FENCE HEIGHT WAIVER, FROM GRADE, OF SIX (6)
 FEET SURROUNDING THE GENERATOR AREA AND THE MECHANICAL
 EQUIPMENT AREA. BY CODE, THE HEDGE MAY GROW TO 10 FEET
 IN HEIGHT, SO NO WAIVER IS REQUIRED FOR IT.
  
 9) BICYCLE FACILITIES.
  
 A. STAFF ACCEPTS THE SPECIFIED BICYCLE RACK AS MEETING
 CITY BICYCLE PARKING REQUIREMENTS. PROVIDE A BLOW UP OF
 THE BICYCLE STORAGE ROOM WITH THE PROPOSED RACK AND
 DIMENSIONS SO THAT STAFF CAN VERIFY THAT THERE IS
 SUFFICIENT SPACE FOR THE SEVEN BICYCLE PARKING SPACES.
 WHEN COMPARING THE VARIOUS PAGES AND DETAILS, IT
 APPEARS THERE IS ADEQUATE ROOM, BUT IT NEEDS TO BE
 CLEARLY SHOWN ON THE PLANS.
 B. THE SITE PLAN DOES NOT VERIFY THAT THE PROVIDED
 EMPLOYEE BICYCLE PARKING COMPLIES WITH CITY CODE.
 PROVIDE A DETAIL THAT SPECIFICALLY SHOWS HOW THE
 BICYCLE RACK WITH THE TWO BICYCLES WILL FUNCTION WHERE
 IT IS SHOWN AGAINST THE WALL. INCLUDE DIMENSIONS TO
 SHOW THAT THE EGRESS PATH IS NOT BLOCKED. WHEN
 COMPARING THE VARIOUS PAGES AND DETAILS, IT APPEARS
 THERE IS ADEQUATE ROOM, BUT IT NEEDS TO BE CLEARLY
 SHOWN ON THE PLANS.
