 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. THERE ARE CORRECTIONS TO BE MADE TO THE TREE
 DISPOSITION PLAN SHEET L4.21:
 ? TREES AND PALMS IDENTIFYING NUMBERS ARE MISSING FROM
 THE DISPOSITION PLAN.
 ? THE COLUMN FOR STATUS ON THE CHART IS NOT ALIGNED
 WITH THE OTHER COLUMNS OR IS MISSING THE STATUS OF THE
 FIRST THREE TREES.
 ? PROVIDE A CHART TO CALCULATE THE MITIGATION REQUIRED
 FOR ANY TREES OR PALMS REMOVED.
 ? SABAL PALMS ARE REQUIRED TO BE RELOCATED IF IN GOOD
 CONDITION.
  
 2. UPDATE THE PLANT LIST ON SHEET L4.01 FOR THESE
 ITEMS:
 ? ADD ALL MISSING PLANT SIZES, AND CHOOSE ONE MINIMUM
 SIZE FOR EACH TREE OR PALM SPECIES THAT MEETS OR
 EXCEEDS THE CODE REQUIREMENT.
 ? ADD ALL MISSING INFORMATION IN THE IRRIGATION NEEDS
 COLUMN.
 ? INDICATE LIGNUM VITAE AS NATIVE.
  
 3. UPDATE THE FLORIDA FRIENDLY LANDSCAPE DESIGN OPTIONS
 CHART ON SHEET L4.01 TO CURRENT CODE SECTION 94-446 (G)
 AND PROVIDE 50 POINTS AS REQUIRED.
  
 4. ON THE SITE CALCULATIONS CHART SHEET L1.04, SHOW
 PERVIOUS PAVERS AS A SEPARATE CATEGORY WITH SQUARE
 FOOTAGE, AS THEY CANNOT BE COUNTED TOWARD PERVIOUS
 LANDSCAPE AREA.
  
 5. ON THE SITE CALCULATIONS CHART SHEET L1.04, CORRECT
 THE SITE LANDSCAPE CALCULATIONS TO SHOW THE SHADE TREE
 AND FLOWERING TREE CALCULATIONS AND ADD THE ONE TREE
 PER UNIT REQUIRED PER SECTION 94-443 (D)(2)A. TO
 ACHIEVE THE TOTAL REQUIRED TREE COUNT.
  
 6. SHOW THE PERCENTAGE OF PALMS SUBSTITUTED FOR
 REQUIRED TREE NOT EXCEEDING 35 PERCENT PER SECTION
 94-442(D).
  
 7. ON THE SITE CALCULATIONS CHART SHEET L1.04, PROVIDE
 THE CALCULATIONS FOR ALL REQUIRED TREES AND SHRUBS FOR
 EACH BUFFER LENGTH, AND PROVIDED NUMBER PER SECTION
 94-443(D)(1)C.
 8. SHOW THE LOCATIONS OF ALL LANDSCAPE BUFFERS ON THE
 LANDSCAPE AND SITE PLAN. THERE ARE CONFLICTS WITH
 UTILITIES AND EASEMENTS ALONG THE SOUTH PROPERTY LINE.
  
 9. ON THE SITE CALCULATIONS CHART SHEET L1.04, SHOW THE
 PERCENTAGE OF BUFFER STRIP INTERRUPTION FOR ACCESS FOR
 THE EAST AND WEST BUFFER TO COMPLY WITH MAXIMUM OF 20
 PERCENT PER SECTION 94-443(D)(1)A.
  
 10. PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 40 PERCENT
 REQUIREMENT FOR PERIMETER LANDSCAPING FOR THE BUILDING
 PER SECTION 94-443(D)(2)B.
  
 11. TREES ADDED IN THE RIGHT OF WAY OUTSIDE OF THE WEST
 PROPERTY LINE CANNOT BE COUNTED TOWARD THE REQUIRED
 TREES FOR THE SITE. THEY CAN BE COUNTED AS MITIGATION
 FOR TREES REMOVED WITHIN THE RIGHT OF WAY.
  
 12. ACACIA ROAD PARCEL WILL HAVE TO BE EVALUATED FOR
 APPLICATION OF THE LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS DEPENDING ON
 WHETHER THE ROAD WILL BE CITY OWNED OR NOT. THE CHART
 PROVIDED MAY NOT HAVE THE CORRECT CALCULATIONS FOR
 REQUIRED TREES. IF CITY OWNED, SECTION 94-442(E) WILL
 APPLY.
  
 13. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-445 L. PLANT
 SPECIES. A MINIMUM OF 60 PERCENT OF PLANT MATERIAL
 ADDED SHALL BE FLORIDA NATIVE OR DROUGHT TOLERANT
 SPECIES SELECTED FROM THE CITY LIST OR THE LIST OF
 SPECIES IN THE MOST RECENT EDITION OF SOUTH FLORIDA
 WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT WATERWISE SOUTH FLORIDA
 LANDSCAPES.
  
 14. PLEASE SHOW LOCATIONS OF WATER, SEWER, FIRE LINES,
 DRAINAGE LINES AND FPL TRANSFORMERS ON THE LANDSCAPE
 PLAN AND RESOLVE CONFLICTS WITH LANDSCAPING.
  
 15. PROVIDE SCREENING FOR ALL GROUND MOUNTED VALVES AND
 EQUIPMENT.
  
 16. SHOW THE LOCATIONS OF ALL SITE LIGHTING ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN AND RESOLVE ANY CONFLICTS WITH TREES.
  
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
