| | BUT DOES NOT ADDRESS THE COMMENT. SITE PLAN SHEET C7 |
| | SHOWS REGULAR PARKING SPACES LOCATED CLOSER TO THE |
| | BUILDING ENTRANCE THAN THE ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES. |
| | THE ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES SHALL BE RELOCATED SO |
| | THAT THEY ARE THE CLOSEST PARKING SPACES TO THE |
| | BUILDING ENTRANCE. PER SECTION 208.3 OF FLORIDA |
| | ACCESSIBILITY CODE, ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES ARE TO BE |
| | LOCATED ON THE SHORTEST POSSIBLE ROUTE OF TRAVEL FROM |
| | ADJACENT PARKING TO AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE FOR EACH |
| | BUILDING. THIS IS A FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE |
| | REQUIREMENT BASED ON FEDERAL ADA, SO WE DO NOT HAVE |
| | DISCRETIONARY AUTHORITY. THE SUBMITTED COMMENT RESPONSE |
| | EXPLAINS WHY THIS REQUIREMENT HAS NOT BEEN MEET RATHER |
| | THAN OFFERING A SOLUTION THAT WILL MEET THE |
| | REQUIREMENT. THE FOLLOWING OPTION IS JUST A SUGGESTION |
| | SINCE YOU HAVE IMPLIED THAT THERE IS NO SOLUTION THAT |
| | COMPLIES WITH THE CODE REQUIREMENT. ONE OPTION WOULD BE |
| | TO RAISE THE ELEVATION OF THE ACCESS AISLE BETWEEN THE |
| | TWO ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES SO THAT THE SLOPE FROM |
| | THAT ACCESS AISLE, ACROSS THE WALKWAY LEADING TO THE |
| | BUILDING ENTRANCE IS NOT STEEPER THAN 1 IN 50 BUT |
| | SUFFICIENT TO DRAIN WATER AWAY FROM THE BUILDING |

| | IT WILL BECOME A PLAN REVIEW COMMENT THAT COULD |
| | POTENTIALLY AFFECT AN APPROVED SITE PLAN LAYOUT. |
