 - HAMPTON ROAD TYPICAL SECTION SHEET C2.01
 O HAMPTON ROAD IS PROPOSED AS A BIKE BOULEVARD IN THE
 BIKE MASTER PLAN.
 O 14' WIDE LANES ARE PROPOSED WITH A 5' WIDE SIDEWALK.
 SUGGEST NARROWING TRAVEL LANE TO 10' TO 11' AND
 UTILIZING THE ENTIRE GUTTER PAN AS PART OF THE PARALLEL
 PARKING WIDTH.
 O UTILIZE REDUCED LANE WIDTH TO PROVIDE FOR A WIDER
 SIDEWALK.
 O INSTALL SHARROWS FOR BIKE BOULEVARD. APPLICANT IS
 REQUESTING A PARKING VARIANCE. IMPROVED BIKE FACILITIES
 WILL ENCOURAGE A MODAL SHIFT FROM VEHICULAR MODE WHICH
 WILL REDUCE PARKING DEMAND.
 - ENTRANCE ON HAMPTON ROAD. THE GATE NEEDS TO BE PULLED
 BACK FURTHER FROM THE BACK OF SIDEWALK. SUGGEST 18' TO
 20'. CODE REFERENCES:
 O CITY CODE SEC. 78-1. - OBSTRUCTING PASSAGE ON
 STREETS, SIDEWALKS AND BICYCLE PATHS PROHIBITED. - IT
 SHALL BE UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON TO OBSTRUCT OR HINDER
 THE FREE FLOW OF PEDESTRIAN OR VEHICULAR TRAFFIC ON ANY
 STREET, SIDEWALK OR BICYCLE PATH IN THE CITY.
 O FLORIDA STATUTES SECTION 316.1945 STOPPING, STANDING,
 OR PARKING PROHIBITED.
 O TRAVEL LANE REDUCTION ON HAMPTON WOULD ALLOW SIDEWALK
 TO MOVE CLOSER TO THE STREET AND AWAY FROM THE GATE.
 - CROSS ACCESS TO NORTH PARCEL.
 O IN ADDITION TO THE CITY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
 TRANSPORTATION ELEMENT, CITY ORDINANCE SECTION 94-312
 ACCESS TO STREETS (2) (C) STATES - SHARED DRIVEWAYS AND
 INTERNAL CROSS ACCESS SHALL BE PROVIDED WHENEVER
 FEASIBLE, PROVIDED THAT APPROPRIATE ACCESS EASEMENTS
 ARE GRANTED BETWEEN OR AMONG THE PROPERTY OWNERS.
 O ADD CALLOUT ON SITE PLAN FOR FUTURE CROSS ACCESS TO
 NORTH PARCEL, REMOVE TWO PARKING SPACES, ADD END OF
 ROAD OBJECT MARKERS IN THE PARKING SPACES, AND ADD A
 DETAIL TO THE PLAN SET TO SHOW GATE REMOVAL WHEN FUTURE
 CROSS ACCESS IS CONSTRUCTED.
 - CONSIDER ELIMINATING CURB STOPS, REDUCE PAVED PORTION
 OF PARKING SPACE TO 16? AND LET CAR OVERHANG 2? OVER A
 GRASSED AREA. THIS WILL REDUCE IMPERVIOUS AREA OF SITE
 AND REDUCE TRIPPING HAZARD FROM CURB STOPS.
 - NORTH ENTRY / GATE. CONSIDER DESIGNATING A PARKING
 SPACE AS TEMPORARY LOADING OR AS TURN AROUND ONLY FOR
 VEHICLES THAT CAN'T ENTER THROUGH THE GATE.
