| | I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND |

| | PARKING LOT LIVE OAK TREES. THEY HAVE BEEN IMPROPERLY |
| | TOPPED RECENTLY AFTER CITY STAFF ADVISED OWNERSHIP OF |
| | PROPER PRUNING TECHNIQUES THAT WOULD BE PERFORMED BY A |
| | CERTIFIED ARBORIST PER CITY CODE REQUIREMENTS. ONE |
| | ISSUE APPEARS TO BE LIGHTING CONFLICTS AND STAFF |
| | RECOMMENDS LOOKING AT OPTIONS TO UPDATE AND ADJUST THE |
| | LOCATIONS OF LIGHTING IN CONCERT WITH THE LANDSCAPE |
| | PLAN TO PREVENT CONFLICTS WITH REQUIRED TREES, AND |
| | MAINTAIN THE TREES WITH PROPER PRUNING PER SECTION |
| | 94-446(2). |

| | 2. THE PROPOSED LANDSCAPE PLAN INDICATES REPLACING |
| | MISSING LARGE CANOPY TREES WITH SMALL SCALE SPECIES |
| | THAT DO NOT PROVIDE SHADE FOR THE PARKING SPACES. THIS |
| | DOES NOT MEET THE INTENT OF THE CODE OR THE APPROVED |
| | LANDSCAPE PLAN AND THE APPLICANT NEEDS TO EXAMINE |
| | SOLUTIONS TO ADJUST THE PLANTING AREAS TO ACCOMMODATE |
| | THE APPROVED SPECIES OR EQUIVALENT. |

| | 3. THERE ARE MANY MISSING REQUIRED TREES THAT APPEAR ON |
