 THIS IS AN INITIAL LEVEL REVIEW. CONSTRUCTION LEVEL
 DETAILS, DESIGN CALCULATIONS, AND THE POLLUTION
 PREVENTION PLAN WILL BE REVIEWED AS PART OF THE
 ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL AND BUILDING PERMIT
 APPLICATION PROCESS UPON SUBMISSION OF DETAILED
 ENGINEERING PLANS. THE FOLLOWING ARE GENERAL COMMENTS
 AT THIS LEVEL:
  
 1. AN ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL APPLICATION WILL
 BE REQUIRED FROM THE ENGINEERING SERVICES DEPARTMENT.
 THE ENGINEERING DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL APPLICATION FORMS
 CAN BE DOWNLOADED FROM THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE LINK:

 MS,-PERMITS-APPLICATIONS
  
 2. FOR SANITATION/GARBAGE COLLECTION CONTACT THE CITY'S
 PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT. FINAL APPROVED SITE PLANS NEED
 TO SHOW PROPOSED SANITATION COLLECTION PLANS AND
 DETAILS; AND WILL NEED APPROVAL FROM PETER BIENIEK,
 PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR. PLEASE INCLUDE THE CITY OF WEST
 PALM BEACH STANDARD DETAIL FOR THE DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE
 ON THE PLANS. MINIMUM DIMENSIONAL (E.G. THE GATE WIDTH
 MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 12.5 FEET) REQUIREMENTS FOR THE
 ENCLOSURE ARE LISTED IN CODE OF ORDINANCES, SECTION
 94-444(B) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES. CITY STANDARD
 DETAIL GC-8 MAY BE DOWNLOADED AT:

 3. SUBMIT ESTIMATES FOR WATER AND FIRE DEMAND, BOTH
 AVERAGE AND PEAK FLOW WITH PEAKING FACTOR FOR 150-ROOM
 HOTEL, GOLF CLUBHOUSE AND OTHER FACILITIES. ALSO SUBMIT
 ESTIMATES OF SANITARY SEWER FLOW FOR THE PROPOSED
 DEVELOPMENTS;
  
 4. THE AVAILABLE WATER PRESSURE IN THIS PORTION OF THE
 CITY MAY NOT BE ACCEPTABLE AT ELEVATIONS HIGHER THAN
 THE 2ND FLOOR. WE RECOMMEND A LONG-TERM PRESSURE STUDY
 BE PERFORMED PRIOR TO FINALIZATION OF THE UTILITY
 DESIGN;
  
 5. PLEASE PROVIDE AN AUTOTURN ANALYSIS DEMONSTRATING
 THE SOLID WASTE COLLECTION VEHICLE CAN ACCESS AND
 MANEUVER WITHIN THE PROPOSED HOTEL AND OTHER MULTI-USE
 FACILITIES WITHIN THE DEVELOPMENT.
  
 6. ALL PROPOSED FIRE DEPARTMENT CONNECTIONS SHALL BE
 WITHIN 150 FEET OF A FIRE HYDRANT AND SHALL BE WITHIN
 AN EASEMENT WITHIN THE PROPERTY. LANDSCAPE PLAN SHALL
 SHOW LOCATIONS OF ALL WATER METERS, VALVES, CLEAN-OUTS,
 LIGHT POLES, ETC. ROOT BARRIERS MAY BE REQUIRED WHERE
 PLANTINGS ARE NEAR UNDERGROUND STORMWATER, SANITARY, OR
 POTABLE WATER LINES.
