 COMMENTS:
  
 1. THIS REVIEW IS A CURSORY REVIEW AS IT RELATES TO THE
 SITE. IT IS NOT A REVIEW FOR FULL COMPLIANCE WITH
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE. THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS ARE TO BE
 ADDRESSED FOR PERMITTING.
  
 2. ROUTE FROM ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES TO BUILDING
 ENTRANCE. SHEET A-1.1, GROUND LEVEL FLOOR PLAN, SHOWS
 THAT USERS OF THE ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACE NEXT TO THE
 LOADING SPACE/BICYCLE RACK MUST ENTER THE BUILDING VIA
 A SECONDARY (REAR) ENTRANCE BECAUSE THE EXTERIOR ROUTE
 TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE DOORS WOULD REQUIRE THEM TO
 NEGOTIOATE CURBS AND TRAVEL ALONG THE VEHICULAR DRIVE
 AISLE. CONTRARY TO THE COMMENT RESPONSE LETTER THAT WAS
 SUBMITTED, SHEET A-0.1 DOES NOT ADDRESS THAT ISSUE
 BECAUSE THERE IS NO NOTE STATING THAT THE SECONDARY
 (REAR) ENTRANCE WILL BE AVAILABLE (UNLOCKED) AT ALL
 TIMES. A NOTE ON SHEET A-0.1 AND/OR SHEET A1.1 OF THE
 PLANS IS THE BEST WAY TO CONFIRM THAT SO THAT THIS ITEM
 DOES NOT CAUSE THE BUILDING PERMIT PLAN REVIEW TO FAIL.
 PER SECTION 208.3 OF FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE,
 ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES ARE TO BE LOCATED ON THE
 SHORTEST POSSIBLE ROUTE OF TRAVEL FROM ADJACENT PARKING
 TO AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE FOR EACH BUILDING.
  
 3. THE HEADROOM FOR THE ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES THAT
 IS UNDER ROOF SHALL MEET THE VAN ACCESSIBLE PARKING
 SPACE REQUIREMENT OF 98 INCHES. THE COMMENT RESPONSE
 LETTER STATES THAT ONE OF THE ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACES
 HAS BEEN MOVED OUTSIDE. THIS IMPLIES THAT ACCESSIBILITY
 VAN WOULD BE PARKED IN THAT SPACE. THAT SOLUTION DOES
 NOT PROVIDE EQUIVALENT FACILITATION BECAUSE IT MEANS
 THAT ARE NOW TWO TYPES OF ACCESSIBLE PARKING AND THE
 MOST DESIRABLE ACCESSIBLE PARKING, WHICH IS UNDER ROOF,
 IS NOT AVAILALBE TO ACCESSIBILITY VAN USERS. THE
 ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACE THAT IS UNDER ROOF MUST BE
 DESIGNED TO MEET THE VAN ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACE
 REQUIREMENT OF 98 INCHES HEADROOM. PER SECTION 208.2.4
 OF FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY CODE, ONE IN EVERY SIX
 ACCESSIBLE SPACES (AT LEAST ONE) IN A PARKING
 STRUCTURE, SHALL BE VAN ACCESSIBLE AND DESIGNED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION OF 502 OF FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY
 CODE (VERTICAL CLEARANCE NOT LESS THAN 98 INCHES AT
 SPACE AND VEHICULAR ACCESS ROUTE).
  
 4. INFORMATIONAL: SEPARATE PERMITS REQUIRED. ALL
 APPLICABLE PERMITS AND SUB-PERMITS MUST BE OBTAINED
 BEFORE COMMENCING THE WORK. SEPARATE PERMITS, PLANS AND
 FEES, ARE REQUIRED FOR SIGNS, GAS SYSTEMS, GENERATORS,
 FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS, FIRE SPRINKLER AND OTHER FIRE
 SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS, GREASE INTERCEPTORS, SITE
 LIGHTING, SITE LANDSCAPE, SITE IRRIGATION, ETC.
