 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
  
 1. PLEASE REFER TO THE PREVIOUSLY APPROVED PLAN FOR
 REFERENCE ON THE TREE DISPOSITION, MITIGATION AND OPEN
 SPACE REQUIREMENTS.
  
 2. PLEASE PROVIDE A DIAGRAM AND CALCULATIONS TO SHOW
 THE OPEN SPACE AREAS BY CATEGORY, AND PERCENTAGE OF
 VEGETATED AREA AND TREE CANOPY TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS
 OF SECTION 94-109 TABLE IV-7.
  
 3. PLEASE IDENTIFY EACH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE OPEN SPACE
 AREA BY TYPE ACCORDING TO THE DEFINITIONS FOUND IN
 SECTION 94-109.
  
 4. PLEASE SHOW THE CALCULATIONS FOR TREE CANOPY BY
 SPECIES FOR THE OPEN SPACE CATEGORIES PER SECTION
 94-109 TABLE IV-8.
  
 5. PLEASE PROVIDE INFORMATION ON HOW THE TREES PROPOSED
 TO BE RELOCATED WILL BE STORED DURING CONSTRUCTION. THE
 LOCATION ON SITE IS NOT FEASIBLE DURING CONSTRUCTION OF
 THE BUILDING. QUALITY OF THE EXISTING TREES AND PALMS
 IS NOT GOOD, AND THE SURVIVABILITY MAY BE LOW WITH
 POTENTIALLY MOVING THEM TWICE. SEE COMMENT 1.
  
 6. PLEASE PROVIDE A STRUCTURAL SOIL DETAIL AND SHOW THE
 LOCATIONS OF STRUCTURAL SOIL ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN.
  
 7. STREET TREES LOCATED IN A SIDEWALK THAT IS ADJACENT
 TO A PERVIOUS LANDSCAPE AREA SHALL HAVE THE STRUCTURAL
 SOIL EXTENDED UNDER THE SIDEWALK TO MEET THE LANDSCAPE
 AREA IF THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE 5 FOOT REQUIRED
 STRUCTURAL SOIL AND THE LANDSCAPE AREA IS LESS THAN 4
 FEET. PLEASE SHOW THESE AREAS ON THE LANDSCAPE PLAN.
  
 8. PLEASE SHOW SAFE SIGHT TRIANGLE AT VEHICLE ENTRANCES
 AND EXITS. THE ENTRANCES NEED TO BE ENGINEERED TO ALLOW
 ANY TREES AND SHRUBS AND GROUNDCOVER TO BE PLANTED IN
 ANY LANDSCAPE AREAS LOCATED ADJACENT TO THEM, AND STILL
 ALLOW SAFE SIGHT TRIANGLES TO BE CLEAR.
  
 9. PISCIDIA PISCIPULA IS NOT COLD HARDY TO THIS ZONE.
 PLEASE PROPOSE A MORE APPROPRIATE SPECIES.
  
 10. STRANGLER FIG IS NOT RECOMMENDED DUE TO WHITEFLY
 ISSUES IN THIS AREA. PLEASE PROPOSE A MORE APPROPRIATE
 SPECIES.
  
 11. QUERCUS VIRGINIANA ?CATHEDRAL? OAKS ARE TO BE USED
 AS STREET TREES. PLEASE REVISE.
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
 2. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERMITTING AND INSTALLATION OF THE
 STREET TREES AND RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING AND
 IRRIGATION APPROVED WITH THIS PETITION.
 3. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE ROAD RIGHT OF
 WAY LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION. THIS WILL BE THROUGH A
 SEPARATE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY.
