 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
 RESPONSES IN WRITING TO COMMENTS WERE NOT FOUND.
  
 1. SATISFIED. LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS ARE TRIGGERED IF
 THE RENOVATION AND ADDITION EXCEED 50 PERCENT OF THE
 CURRENT BUILDING VALUATION.
  
 2. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. PLEASE IDENTIFY AND LIST ALL
 EXISTING TREES ON THE PROPERTY.
 PLEASE REMOVE CHART FOR TREE MITIGATION AND ONLY
 PROVIDE THE TREE LIST AND DISPOSITION. TREES ARE LESS
 THAN 35 FOOT CANOPY DIAMETER, SO REPLACEMENT IS 1TO 1.
 NEW TREES PROVIDED ON LANDSCAPE PLAN ARE SUFFICIENT FOR
 MITIGATION.
  
 3. SATISFIED. LANDSCAPE PLANS MUST BE PREPARED BY A
 LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT PER SECTION 94-113 (E).
  
 4. SATISFIED. PLEASE VERIFY THAT THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER
 ADJACENT TO THE RESIDENTIAL SUBDISTRICT TO THE EAST
 MEETS ALL REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 94-113 (G).
  
 5. NOT SATISFIED. PLEASE CALCULATE THE REQUIRED NUMBER
 OF TREES, FLOWERING TREES, AND SHRUBS FOR THE PROPERTY
 BASED ON THE OPEN SPACE PROVIDED PER SECTION
 94-113(E)(2). THE CALCULATIONS SHALL BE MADE USING THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 94-442(B)(2)B. PLEASE SHOW THE
 NUMBER OF REQUIRED AND PROVIDED TREES AND SHRUBS.
 OPEN SPACE REQUIRED IS 40 PERCENT OF THE LOT AREA.
 PLEASE CORRECT AND RECALCULATE TREES, FLOWERING TREES
 AND SHRUBS.
  
 6. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE COLEUS
 CLASSIFICATION AS VERY DROUGHT TOLERANT.
  
 7. SATISFIED. PLEASE CONSIDER REMOVING THE UNUSED
 CONCRETE AREA ADJACENT TO THE RAMP AND CONVERTING TO
 LANDSCAPE AREA, AND RECONFIGURE SIDEWALK TO CONNECT
 FUNCTIONALLY TO PARKING.
  
 8. SATISFIED. PLEASE ADD STREET TREES WITHIN THE
 PARKWAY ALONG 8TH STREET AS REQUIRED PER SECTION 94-113
 (D).
  
 9. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A SHADE OR FLOWERING TREE
 IN ALL TERMINAL ISLANDS OR LANDSCAPE AREAS ADJACENT TO
 EACH ROW OF PARKING PER SECTION 94-113 (F)(2).

 10. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A PLANT LIST SHOWING
 QUANTITIES, SPECIES AND SPECIFIED SIZES.
  
 11. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A COLUMN ON THE PLANT
 LIST SHOWING DROUGHT TOLERANCE LEVELS INDICATED IN
 WATERWISE, THE SOUTH FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT
 PLANT AND LANDSCAPE PRACTICES GUIDE AS SPECIFIED IN
 SECTION 94-446(G). PROVIDE HOW THE PLAN COMPLIES WITH
 FLORIDA FRIENDLY LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS
 SECTION.
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 6/22/17:
 12. FLORIDA FRIENDLY LANDSCAPE CHART IS MISSING. PLEASE
 INCLUDE TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-442(G).
  
 13. LANDSCAPE PLAN DOES NOT MATCH THE SITE PLAN
 SUBMITTED, PLEASE REVISE.
 STAFF RECOMMENDS A MEETING WITH THE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
 TO CLEAR UP ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING COMMENTS AND TO
 FACILITATE EFFORTS TO ARRIVE AT THE FINAL PLANS.
  
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
  
 2. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERMITTING AND INSTALLATION OF THE
 STREET TREES AND RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING AND
 IRRIGATION APPROVED WITH THIS PETITION.
  
 3. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE ROAD RIGHT OF
 WAY LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION. THIS WILL BE THROUGH A
 SEPARATE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY.
