 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. CONDITIONALLY SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A TREE
 MITIGATION CHART IDENTIFYING EXISTING TREES ON THE
 PROPERTY THAT WILL BE REMOVED AND MITIGATION PROVIDED
 PER SECTION 94-448.
 PLEASE PROVIDE A CHART SHOWING MITIGATION REQUIRED.
  
 2. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE THE PERCENTAGE OF
 VEGETATED AREA AND TREE CANOPY REQUIRED AND PROVIDED
 FOR QUALIFYING PLAZA AREAS PER SECTION 94-444.
  
 3. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A LANDSCAPE PLAN FOR THE
 ROOFTOP AMENITY DECK.
  
 4. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A COLUMN ON THE PLANT LIST
 SHOWING DROUGHT TOLERANCE LEVELS INDICATED IN
 WATERWISE, THE SOUTH FLORIDA WATER MANAGEMENT DISTRICT
 PLANT AND LANDSCAPE PRACTICES GUIDE AS SPECIFIED IN
 SECTION 94-446(G). PLEASE REVISE AND RECALCULATE TO
 CONFIRM PERCENTAGES FOR POINTS CLAIMED.
  
 5. SATISFIED. PLEASE SHOW THE TOTAL NUMBER OF PARKING
 SPACES PROVIDED ON THE SITE PLAN DATA CHART AND USE
 THIS NUMBER FOR THE CALCULATION OF LANDSCAPE AREA
 REQUIRED PER SECTION 94-443(C)(3).
  
 6. SATISFIED. PLEASE DEMONSTRATE COMPLIANCE WITH
 SECTION 94-443 (C)(4) FOR THE AMOUNT OF LANDSCAPE AREA
 REQUIRED IN THE LANDSCAPE ISLANDS PROVIDING 4 SQUARE
 FEET FOR EACH 100 SQUARE FEET OF OTHER PAVED AREAS
 ADDITIONAL TO PARKING SPACES.
  
 7. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A LANDSCAPE TERMINAL
 ISLAND AND REQUIRED SHADE TREE FOR EACH ROW OF PARKING
 IN ALL TERMINAL ISLANDS IN PARKING AREAS PER SECTION
 94-443 (C)(3)A.
 THERE ARE AT LEAST THREE LOCATIONS WHERE THERE IS NO
 SHADE TREE PROVIDED. THE TERMINAL ISLANDS ALSO DO NOT
 MEET THE 5 FOOT MINIMUM WIDTH FOR THE FULL LENGTH OF
 THE PARKING SPACE.
  
 8. SATISFIED. PLEASE SHOW ALL UTILITIES INCLUDING
 WATER, SEWER, AND FPL TRANSFORMERS ON THE LANDSCAPE
 PLAN. ADJUST UTILITY LOCATIONS TO AVOID REQUIRED TREES.
  
 9. SATISFIED. PLEASE INCLUDE A ROOT BARRIER DETAIL AND
 SHOW LOCATIONS OF ROOT BARRIERS TO PROTECT
 INFRASTRUCTURE AND TREES FROM CONFLICTS. THIS INCLUDES
 WATER, SEWER, DRAINAGE, SIDEWALKS AND CURBS, AND ANY
 FIELD STRUCTURES THAT COULD BE IMPACTED BY TREE ROOTS.
  
 10. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE SCREENING FOR ALL GROUND
 MOUNTED EQUIPMENT AND UTILITIES.
  
 11. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE DETAILS ON HOW THE
 DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE WILL FUNCTION AND PROVIDE A COMPLETE
 HEDGE AROUND THE THREE NON-ACCESS SIDES OF THE
 DUMPSTER/COMPACTOR ENCLOSURE.
 PROVIDE LANDSCAPING AS REQUIRED.
  
 12. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A BUFFER REQUIREMENTS
 CHART LISTING THE REQUIRED BUFFER LENGTH CALCULATIONS
 AND NUMBER OF TREES REQUIRED AND PROVIDED FOR EACH SIDE
 OF THE PROPERTY AND LABEL THE LOCATIONS OF THE 5 FOOT
 REQUIRED BUFFERS PER SECTION 94-442(B).
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1/27/17:
 13. SATISFIED. PLEASE EXPLAIN THE NEED TO ELIMINATE THE
 IMPERVIOUS STRIP ALONG THE CURB AND INSTALL TREE GRATES
 FOR THE ROYAL PALM STREET TREES. HAVING THE GRASS IS
 PREFERABLE TO PAVED AREAS. PROVIDE A DETAIL OF HOW THE
 GRATES AND SIDEWALK AREAS WOULD BE INSTALLED WITHOUT
 NEGATIVELY AFFECTING THE PALMS. INCLUDE STRUCTURAL SOIL
 DETAIL.
  
 14. CONDITIONALLY SATISFIED. PLEASE CORRECT THE OPEN
 SPACE CALCULATION ON SHEET LA-4 TO REFLECT THE MINIMUM
 REQUIRED OPEN SPACE OF 40%, AND RECALCULATE SHADE
 TREES, FLOWERING TREES AND SHRUB COUNTS REQUIRED.
  
 15. SATISFIED. PLEASE REMOVE THE DESIGN OPTIONS
 CALCULATIONS CHART FROM SHEET LA-4 DERIVED FROM SECTION
 94-442 (E) SITE DESIGN FLEXIBILITY, AS THIS IS NOT
 APPLICABLE.
  
 16. SATISFIED. PLEASE CHANGE THE LABEL ON THE CHART
 SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-442 (G) FLORIDA
 FRIENDLY LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS TO CORRECTLY IDENTIFY
 IT AS SUCH.
  
 17. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE CALCULATIONS TO SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-443 (E)(1) REQUIRING AT
 LEAST 30 PERCENT OF THE LINEAR FEET AROUND THE BUILDING
 IS PLANTED WITH TREES, SHRUBS OR HEDGES.
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
 2. PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF THE TREE ALTERATION PERMIT, ALL
 CANOPY CALCULATIONS FOR SILVER BUTTONWOOD SHALL BE
 CORRECTED TO 150 CANOPY CREDITS AS A CATEGORY 2 TREE.
  
 3. PRIOR TO ISSUANCE OF THE LANDSCAPE PERMIT, THE
 CALCULATIONS FOR OPEN SPACE USED FOR TREE, FLOWERING
 TREE AND SHRUB CALCULATIONS SHALL BE REVISED TO 40
 PERCENT OF THE SITE AREA EQUAL TO 25,804 SQ FT.
  
 4. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERMITTING AND INSTALLATION OF THE
 STREET TREES AND RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING AND
 IRRIGATION APPROVED WITH THIS PETITION.
  
 5. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE ROAD RIGHT OF
 WAY LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION. THIS WILL BE THROUGH A
 SEPARATE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY.
