 - WHEN RESUBMITTING, PLEASE PROVIDE A MINIMUM OF FIVE
 (5) PAPER COPIES AND AN ELECTRONIC COPY IN.PDF FORMAT
 OF ALL PLANS. PLEASE NOTE THAT CHANGES ON THE
 RESUBMITTED PLANS OR THE SUBMITTAL OF INFORMATION/PLANS
 TO ADDRESS THE COMMENTS MAY RESULT IN ADDITIONAL
 COMMENTS.
  
 - PLEASE NOTE THAT IF THE PLANNING DIVISION HAS NOT
 RECEIVED A RESPONSE TO THE PPRC COMMENTS WITHIN 60 DAYS
 FROM THE DATE OF THE PPRC MEETING (BY DECEMBER 12,
 2016), THE CASE SHALL BE CONSIDERED WITHDRAWN. ANY
 FURTHER ACTION SHALL REQUIRE A NEW DEVELOPMENT
 APPLICATION.
  
 - PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL BE PERMITTED ONE (1)
 RESUBMITTAL AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. IF PREVIOUSLY-ISSUED
 COMMENTS CONTINUE TO NOT BE SUFFICIENTLY ADDRESSED, THE
 APPLICANT WILL BE ACCESSED A RESUBMITTAL FEE. SUCH FEE
 WILL BE 20% OF THE ORIGINAL APPLICATION FEE ($60).
  
 1) RESOLUTION NO. 144-11 APPROVED THE ATHLETIC/FINE
 ARTS COMPLEX AT 14,816 SQUARE FEET. THE SITE PLAN
 SUBMITTED WITH THIS APPLICATION SHOWS THE ATHLETIC/FINE
 ARTS COMPLEX AS HAVING 15,654 SQUARE FEET. THE NEW
 BUILDING SIZE INCREASES THE SIZE OF THE BUILDING BY
 MORE THAN FIVE (5) PERCENT, WHICH MAY NOT BE DONE AS A
 MINOR PLANNED DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT, BUT RATHER
 REQUIRES A MAJOR PLANNED DEVELOPMENT AMENDMENT.
  
 2) A SURVEY SHOWING THE EXISTING CONDITIONS WAS NOT
 PROVIDED WITH THIS APPLICATION.
  
 3) THE SITE PLAN DATA TABLES SHALL USE AS A BASE THE
 INFORMATION APPROVED AS PART OF THE LATEST MINOR
 AMENDMENT DATED JUNE 28, 2016. THIS HAS BEEN A REPEATED
 COMMENT WITH THIS PROJECT THAT INCORRECT OR OBSOLETE
 BASE INFORMATION AND PLANS ARE USED ON NEW SUBMITTALS.
  
 4) ELIMINATE THE PHASE LINES FROM THE PLANS. THE BASE
 PLAN SHALL SHOW WHAT IS CURRENTLY CONSTRUCTED AND WHAT
 IS PROPOSED AS PART OF THIS AMENDMENT. THERE ARE TWO
 OPTIONS FOR THE ATHLETIC/FINE ARTS COMPLEX:
  
 A. THE OUTLINE OF THE ATHLETIC/FINE ARTS COMPLEX SHALL
 BE REMOVED FROM THE PLAN. THE OUTLINE DOES NOT CONFORM
 TO THE AREA WHERE IT IS SHOWN AS IT OVERLAPS WITH THE
 NEWLY CONSTRUCTED SIDEWALK AND THE SITE WALL PARALLEL
 TO FLAGLER DRIVE. THIS AREA MAY HAVE A NOTE ADDED WHICH
 STATES "FUTURE 14,816 SQUARE FOOT ATHLETIC/FINE ARTS
 COMPLEX APPROVED BY RESOLUTION NO. 144-11". UNDER THIS
 OPTION, THE FINAL LAYOUT OF THE REVISED ATHLETIC/FINE
 ARTS COMPLEX SHALL BE REVIEWED BY THE CITY AS PART OF A
 FUTURE AMENDMENT APPLICATION.
  
 B. SHOW FULL DETAILS OF THE ATHLETIC/FINE ARTS COMPLEX
 AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO THE SITE. THIS INCLUDES
 FOUNDATION PLANTING, THE MODIFICATION TO THE SIDEWALK
 AND HOW THE BUILDING WILL BE CONSTRUCTED ADJACENT TO
 THE NEW SITE WALL PARALLEL TO FLAGLER DRIVE.
  
 5) PROVIDE DETAILS FOR THE SECURITY KIOSK.
  
 6) THE CIVIL PLANS SHOW THE PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY ON THE
 NEIGHBORING PROPERTY. THE PLANS SHALL SHOW ACCURATE
 CONDITIONS. ADDITIONALLY, THE CIVIL PLAN SHALL SHOW
 CURRENT CONDITIONS, NOT "TO BE DEMOLISHED" FOR
 BUILDINGS AND INFRASTRUCTURE THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN
 REMOVED.
  
 7) THE PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY IS NOT SHOWN AS IT IS BUILT
 WHERE IT TURNS AND HEADS SOUTH AT THE TERMINUS OF
 ORANGE COURT. THE FIELD CONDITION IS THAT THE WALKWAY
 EXTENDS TO THE PARKING LOT. UNLESS THE PLAN IS TO
 REMOVE THE COMPLETED WORK, THEN ALL PLANS SHALL SHOW
 ACCURATE CONDITIONS.
  
 8) THE LOW FREESTANDING SIGN CONTINUES TO BE SHOWN IN
 THE DRAINAGE EASEMENT. THE CITY'S ENGINEERING SERVICES
 DIVISION SHALL GRANT SPECIFIC APPROVAL FOR THE SIGN
 WITHIN THE EASEMENT THAT IT DOES NOT INTERRUPT THE
 FUNCTION OF THE EASEMENT. ADDITIONALLY, THE SITE PLAN
 SHALL CLEARLY SHOW THE SIGN SETBACK FROM THE FLAGLER
 DRIVE PROPERTY LINE AND THAT THE SIGN IS LOCATED
 OUTSIDE OF THE VISIBILITY TRIANGLE.
  
 9) PLEASE VERIFY THAT THE WALL AND FENCE DRAWINGS ARE
 THE SAME AS THE ONES APPROVED AT BUILDING PERMIT.
  
 10) THE GATE LOCATION/SWING SHOWN ON THE PLANS SHALL BE
 ADJUSTED TO PERMIT PEDESTRIANS FROM AUSTIN LANE TO
 DIRECTLY ACCESS THE PUBLIC PEDESTRIAN PATH WHEN THE
 GATE BLOCKS VEHICULAR ACCESS TO THE COCOANUT LANE.
 ALTERNATIVELY, THE PEDESTRIAN PATH SHALL BE EXTENDED TO
 AUSTIN LANE TO CONNECT BEHIND THE GATE POST WHEN IT
 CLOSES COCOANUT LANE. PLEASE NOTE: STAFF PERFORMED A
 SITE VISIT AND THE POSTS FOR THIS FENCE HAVE BEEN
 INSTALLED IN AN INCORRECT LOCATION TOO FAR TO THE WEST
 OF WHERE THEY ARE PERMITTED BY RESOLUTION NO. 376-10.
  
 11) THE NEW LIGHT POLES FOR THE ATHLETIC FIELD SHALL
 CONFORM TO THE SIDE SETBACKS ESTABLISHED FOR THE
 EXISTING PARKING LOT LIGHTS ALONG ORANGE COURT. THE
 SURVEY SHALL SHOW THE EXISTING LIGHT POLE LOCATIONS AND
 THEIR SETBACK FROM THE PROPERTY LINE. ONE OF THE
 PROPOSED LIGHT POLES IS SHOWN IN THE ORANGE COURT
 RIGHT-OF-WAY AND ONE IS SHOWN IN THE COCOANUT LANE
 RIGHT-OF-WAY. THESE LOCATIONS ARE NOT PERMITTED. PLEASE
 NOTE: STAFF PERFORMED A SITE VISIT AND NOTED THAT THE
 LIGHT POLE BASES HAVE BEEN INSTALLED. THESE LOCATIONS
 HAVE NOT BEEN APPROVED BY ZONING AS PART OF AN
 AMENDMENT OR AS PART OF A PERMIT.
  
 12) PROVIDE THE PHOTOMETRIC DETAILS THAT THE NEW
 ATHLETIC FIELD LIGHTING LEVELS DO NOT EXCEED 0.5
 FOOTCANDLES AT THE RESIDENTIAL ZONING DISTRICT
 BOUNDARIES TO THE SOUTH OF THE FIELD.
  
 13) PROVIDE DETAILS TO VERIFY THAT THE NEW LIGHT POLES
 AND FIXTURES ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE FIELD MATCH THE
 PARKING LOT LIGHT POLES AND FIXTURES IN HEIGHT AND
 STYLE. LIGHT CUT OFF SHIELD SHALL BE PROVIDED AS
 NEEDED.
  
 14) STAFF CONTINUES TO QUESTION WHY THE NEW "HORIZONTAL
 SUN CONTROLS" CANNOT BE CONSTRUCTED IN THE SAME STYLE
 AS THE METAL AWNINGS WHICH COVER THE WINDOWS ON THE
 EXISTING CLASSROOM BUILDING TO HAVE A CONSISTENT LOOK.
  
 15) THE BICYCLE RACK AND PAD DETAIL SHALL MATCH THE
 NUMBER SHOWN ON THE SITE PLAN. THE DIMENSIONS SHALL BE
 PROVIDED ON THE SITE PLAN. THE SITE DATA TABLE SHALL BE
 UPDATED TO REFLECT THAT THERE ARE 14 BICYCLE SPACES
 PROVIDED AS EACH RACK HOLDS TWO BICYCLES.
  
 16) PROVIDE THE SETBACK OF THE PLAY EQUIPMENT AND THE
 HEIGHT OF THE BOAT STRUCTURE ON THE PLANS.
  
 17) PROVIDE THE SETBACK AND HEIGHT OF THE PROPOSED
 ARBOR.
  
 18) SIGN COMPLIANCE WILL BE DETERMINED AT THE TIME OF
 THE SUBMITTAL FOR THE SIGN PERMIT.
  
 19) THE LANDSCAPE PLAN SHOWS TREES REMAINING BETWEEN
 THE PITT BUILDING NORTH WOOD FENCE AND THE PUBLIC
 PEDESTRIAN PATH. PLEASE VERIFY THESE DIMENSIONS. STAFF
 VISITED THE SITE AND THERE VISUALLY DOES NOT LOOK LIKE
 THERE IS SUFFICIENT ROOM BETWEEN THE FENCE AND THE
 PEDESTRIAN PATH (ONCE INSTALLED TO ITS FULL WIDTH WHEN
 THE POWER POLE IS REMOVED) TO EVEN HAVE THE HEDGE THAT
 IS SHOWN. E-MAILS FROM THE CONTRACTOR SEEM TO INDICATE
 THAT HE AGREES THAT THERE IS INSUFFICIENT ROOM FOR THE
 LANDSCAPE. WAS THE WOOD FENCE REPLACED TOO FAR TO THE
 NORTH?
