 STAFF HAS REVIEWED THE ZONING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT
 REGULATIONS FOR THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION AND
 PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
  
 1. PLEASE PROVIDE THE DROUGHT TOLERANCE LEVEL FOR EACH
 PLANT SPECIES ON THE PLANT LIST CHARTS TO VERIFY
 PERCENTAGES CLAIMED WITH THE FLORIDA FRIENDLY LANDSCAPE
 REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 94-442 (G).
  
 2. PLEASE CORRECT CALCULATIONS TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 SECTION 94-443 (C)(3) AND (4) FOR THE LANDSCAPE AREAS
 REQUIREMENTS WITHIN THE PARKING AND PAVED AREAS,
 INCLUDING REQUIRED NUMBER OF SHADE TREES, THEN
 CALCULATE THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PALMS SUBSTITUTED FOR
 THE REQUIRED PARKING LOT TREES.
  
 3. PLEASE CORRECT THE REQUIRED LANDSCAPE AREA TO 20%
 PER SECTION 94-244 TABLE VIII-4.
  
 4. PLEASE CORRECT THE REQUIRED LINEAR FEET OF
 LANDSCAPED AREA AROUND THE STRUCTURE TO 20% PER SECTION
 94-443 (E)(2).
  
 5. PLEASE CORRECT THE CANOPY TREE COUNT FOR THE PARKING
 LOT PROVIDED TREES TO REFLECT THE COUNT OF TREES WITHIN
 THE PARKING FIELD ONLY.
  
 6. PLEASE CORRECT THE REQUIRED TREES, FLOWERING TREE
 AND SHRUB REQUIRED COUNTS IN THE CHART TO REFLECT THE
 CALCULATION FROM 46,871 SQ. FT. OF REQUIRED OPEN SPACE.
  
 7. PLEASE SHOW LOCATIONS OF MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SUCH
 AS A/C COMPRESSORS, ETC., AND PROVIDE SCREENING FOR ALL
 GROUND MOUNTED EQUIPMENT AND UTILITIES.
  
 8. PLEASE SHOW LOCATIONS OF WATER AND SEWER LINES THAT
 SERVICE THE BUILDING, AND LOCATIONS OF ABOVE GROUND
 VALVES, AND REVISE TO AVOID CONFLICTS WITH LANDSCAPING.
  
 9. STAFF RECOMMENDS CHANGING THE ILEX CASSINE TO A
 DIFFERENT SPECIES OR ILEX VARIETY TO AVOID THE FATAL
 FUNGAL INFECTION SPHAEROPSIS.
  
 10. PLEASE ADD 2 ADDITIONAL PALMS NEAR SIGN B TO MEET
 THE SUBSTITUTION REQUIREMENT FOR THE REQUIRED SHADE
 TREES IN THE TERMINAL ISLAND.
  
 11. PLEASE CHANGE THE ILEX TO THE EAST OF THE DUMPSTER
 ENCLOSURE TO 2 PALMS TO AVOID CONFLICT WITH EMPTYING OF
 THE DUMPSTER.
  
 PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION MAY BE
 REQUESTED, AND STAFF MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL COMMENTS AS
 THE REVIEW PROCESS CONTINUES.
  
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
