 APRIL 13, 2017
 I HAVE REVIEWED THE ABOVE REFERENCED PETITION, AND
 PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A SITE DATA CHART ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN TO REFLECT THE REQUIRED, APPROVED, AND
 PROVIDED OPEN SPACE AND LANDSCAPE AREA.
  
 2. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE CALCULATIONS TO SHOW THE
 LANDSCAPING AROUND THE STRUCTURE MEETS THE 40%
 REQUIREMENT FOR TREES, SHRUBS OR HEDGES PER SECTION
 94-443 (E)(1).
  
 3. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE THE REQUIRED TREES WITHIN
 THE WEST BUFFER, SPACED AS REQUIRED MEETING THE INTENT
 OF THE ORIGINAL APPROVAL, ALSO AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER
 OF THE PROPERTY.
  
 4. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A SITE DATA CHART ON THE
 LANDSCAPE PLAN TO REFLECT THE REQUIRED, APPROVED, AND
 PROVIDED NUMBER OF TREES, FLOWERING TREES AND SHRUBS
 BASED ON THE REQUIRED OPEN SPACE.
  
 5. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A CHART SHOWING PREVIOUSLY
 APPROVED AND PROPOSED CALCULATIONS FOR THE BUFFER
 INTERRUPTIONS THAT REQUIRED A WAIVER.
  
 6. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE LOCATIONS OF LIGHTING ON
 THE LANDSCAPE PLAN TO AVOID CONFLICTS WITH LANDSCAPING.
  
 7. SATISFIED. PLEASE SHOW LOCATIONS OF WATER AND SEWER
 LINES THAT SERVICE THE BUILDING, LOCATIONS OF ABOVE
 GROUND VALVES, AND LOCATION OF DRAINAGE STRUCTURES ON
 THE LANDSCAPE PLAN AND RESOLVE CONFLICTS WITH
 LANDSCAPING.
 THE LANDSCAPE PLANS CAN BE ENLARGED TO INCORPORATE THE
 UTILITY LOCATIONS AND TREE LOCATIONS ADJUSTED TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS.
  
 8. SATISFIED. PLEASE INDICATE THE LOCATION OF THE 10
 FOOT LANDSCAPE BUFFER ALONG ARKONA COURT AND SOUTH
 FLAGLER DRIVE REQUIRED PER SECTION 94-443(D).
  
 9. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE THE DROUGHT TOLERANCE
 LEVEL FOR EACH PLANT SPECIES ON THE PLANT LIST, TO SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH SECTION 94-442(G) FLORIDA FRIENDLY
 LANDSCAPING REQUIREMENTS. PLEASE LABEL THE SECTION IN
 THE CHART AS SUCH. ADDING A COLUMN IDENTIFYING NATIVE
 PLANTS IS ALSO SUGGESTED.
  
 10. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE SCREENING FOR ALL GROUND
 MOUNTED EQUIPMENT AND UTILITIES.
 PROVIDE A SCREENING HEDGE FOR WATER VALVES.
  
 11. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A ROOT BARRIER DETAIL AND
 SHOW LOCATIONS OF ROOT BARRIERS TO PROTECT
 INFRASTRUCTURE AND TREES FROM CONFLICTS. THIS INCLUDES
 WATER, SEWER, DRAINAGE, SIDEWALKS AND CURBS, AND ANY
 FIELD STRUCTURES THAT COULD BE IMPACTED BY TREE ROOTS.
 MORE DETAIL IS NEEDED ESPECIALLY FOR DRAINAGE LINES.
  
 12. SATISFIED. PLEASE REVISE THE FLORIDA FRIENDLY
 LANDSCAPE CHART PER SECTION 94-446 (G) AND PROVIDE
 DOCUMENTATION FOR THE TYPE OF LANDSCAPE IRRIGATION
 MOISTURE SENSOR OTHER THAN A RAIN SWITCH TO BE
 PROVIDED, AND AN IRRIGATION PLAN INDICTING THE
 LOCATIONS OF LOW, MODERATE AND HIGH WATER USE ZONES.
  
 13. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE A NARRATIVE TO SHOW HOW
 THE PLAN COMPLIES WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION
 94-442 (E) SITE DESIGN FLEXIBILITY AS CLAIMED ON SHEET
 L000.1.
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS 1/10/17:
 14. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE TYPICAL CROSS SECTIONS OF
 THE LANDSCAPE BUFFER AREAS FOR EACH OF THE FOUR SIDES
 OF THE BUILDING TO DEMONSTRATE HOW THE LANDSCAPING AND
 TREES WILL BE PLACED WITHIN THE ENGINEERING OF SLOPES
 AND ELEVATIONS.
  
 15. SATISFIED. PLEASE REMOVE REFERENCE TO STONE MULCH
 OVER WEED FABRIC FOR THE WATER VALVE AREA AT THE
 SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE SITE. ALL AREAS MUST BE
 LANDSCAPED WITH GRASS OR GROUNDCOVER AND HAVE A
 SCREENING HEDGE.
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES ON
 THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL BE
 SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
