 CIRCULATION PATTERN, CONFLICT POINTS, MARKINGS,

 EXISTING VEGETATION. WILL THE RAMP BE VISIBLE FROMT THE

 6. PLEASE CLARIFY THE REQUESTED VARIANCE FROM THE SIGN
 CODE SECTION 94-407.
 7. PROPOSED SIGN ON THE PARKING GARAGE MAY BE
 CONSIDERED AN IDENTITY SIGN BUT IT SHALL NOT EXCEED 100
 SQUARE FEET IN SIZE.
 8. PLEASE IDENTIFY ALL THE SIGNS IN THE COMPLEX.
 9. PROPOSED LARGE MONUMENT SIGN AT TAMARIND AVENUE IS
 CREATING A LARGE ?PLAZA? BUT NO PEDESTRIAN AMENITIES.
 IT IS ALSO REMOVING ONE LARGE OAK JUST TO INSTALL A
 SIGN. SIGN SHALL BE RELOCATED TO PRESERVE THE LARGE
 TREE.
 STREETSCAPE COMMENTS:
 10. THE CITY IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON MAKING OKEECHOBEE
 BOULEVARD MORE PEDESTRIAN FRIENDLY. THE SCALE OF THIS
 PROJECT JUSTIFIES SOME MODIFICATION TO THE CURRENT
 CONFIGURATION OF THE SIDEWALK ALONG OKEECHOBEE
 BOULEVARD AS FOLLOWS:
 A.MINIMUM SIDEWALK WIDTH SHALL BE 8 FEET CLEAR AND
 PEDESTRIANS SHALL BE PROTECTED FROM CARS ON ADJACENT
 TRAVEL LANES.
 B.PEDESTRIAN SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM THE TRAVEL LINE BY
 A PLANTING AREA OR STREET TREES PLANTED IN GRATES OR
 PLANTING AREAS DEPENDING ON THE CONDITIONS.
 C. THE FOLLOWING DESIGN SUGGESTED: A) BETWEEN TAMARIND
 AND WESTERN CURB CUT INSTALL A CONTINUOUS PLANTING AREA
 WITH LOW PLANTS NEXT TO THE CURB, MINIMUM 8? SIDEWALK
 AND RELOCATED LARGE SHADE TREES ON EDGE OF RETENTION
 AREA. B) BETWEEN WESTERN CURB CUT AND SAPODILLA INSTALL
 SHADE TREES NEXT TO THE CURB IN TREE GRATES AND A MIN.
 8? SIDEWALK (1 FOOT OF THE TREE GRATE CAN BE COUNTED IN
 THE MIN. SIDEWALK WIDTH).
 11. PEDESTRIAN STREET LIGHTING SHALL BE INSTALLED ALONG
 OKEECHOBEE BOULEVARD TO ENHANCE THE PEDESTRIAN LEVEL
 COMFORT AND SAFETY. FURTHER DISCUSSION NECESSARY ON
