 1) ENGINEERING STAFF DOES NOT SUPPORT THE RAMP TO IRIS
 STREET PORTION OF THE APPLICATION.
 A. VEHICLES WILL BE TRAPPED AT THE RAMP AND CANNOT
 MANEUVER BACK TO TAMARIND AVE.
 B. THE PROPOSED RAMP IS TOO CLOSE TO THE EXISTING
 ENTRANCE.
 C. IF THERE IS A NEED TO ALLEVIATE TRAFFIC EXITING FROM
 THE 3RD FLOOR, WHY IS THERE A NEED FOR AN ON RAMP?
 D. PROVIDE FLOOR PLANS WITH DIMENSIONS FOR EACH LEVEL
 OF THE GARAGE.
  
 2) THE FOLLOWING ARE RECOMMENDATIONS TO IMPROVE
 CIRCULATION IN THE EXISTING PARKING STRUCTURE:
 A. PROVIDE PROPER ILLUMINATION, MANY LIGHT BULBS NEEDED
 TO BE SERVICED.
 B. UPDATE AND ADD MORE PAVEMENT MARKINGS TO SHOW THE
 DIRECTION OF TRAFFIC FLOW.
 C. BASED ON THE EXISTING DESIGN, THE VERY SLIGHT ANGLE
 PARKING AND LARGE AISLE WIDTH, IT IS DIFFICULT TO
 DETERMINE IF IT IS TWO-WAY OR ONE-WAY.
 D. USE LIGHTED ?SPACE AVAILABLE? SIGNS AT THE ENTRANCE
 AND ON EACH FLOOR.
 E. CONSIDER A PARKING MANAGEMENT PLAN TO REVERSE THE
 DIRECTION OF FLOW AT THE END OF AN EVENT.
 F. PROVIDE GARAGE AND DESTINATION SIGNING IN THE GARAGE
 TO DIRECT TRAFFIC TO I-95 OR PALM BEACH.
 G. CONSULT WITH A PARKING CONSULTANT THAT SPECIALIZES
 IN PARKING STRUCTURES.
  
 3) VALET OPERATIONS:
 A. STAFF DOES NOT SUPPORT THE THREE ENTER AND EXIT
 LANES AT THE VALET PARKING STRUCTURE WITH ONLY TWO
 SOUTH BOUND LANES ON SAPODILLA AVE. THE ENTRANCE AND
 EXIT SHALL BE
 LIMITED TO TWO EXIT ONLY LANES AT SAPODILLA AVE. IN
 ADDITION, THIS WILL ELIMINATE THE NEED FOR WIDENING ON
 SAPODILLA.
 B. PROVIDE A VALET CIRCULATION PLAN. IT IS NOT CLEAR
 WHERE THE VALET DROP OFF AND PICK UP ARE LOCATED.
 C. DIRECT VALET TRAFFIC FROM THE WEST TO TAMARIND AVE.
 AND IRIS ST. THIS WILL REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF U-TURN
 MOVEMENTS AT SAPODILLA AND OKEECHOBEE.
  
 4) PROVIDE BETTER CIRCULATION AT THE FRONT ENTRANCE TO
 ALLOW VALET DROP OFF IN ONE CIRCULAR MOTION.
  
 5) TRAFFIC:
 A. THE TRAFFIC STUDY IS OUTDATED AND SHOULD INCLUDE
 EXISTING AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF THE DOWNTOWN AREA
 AND THE CLOSURE AT EVERNIA AND DATURA.
 B. PROVIDE UPDATED COUNTS AND DISTRIBUTION AT ALL
 ENTRANCE AND EXITS TO INCLUDE VALET SERVICE.
